@@ags8507if the tower shot comes out it will still follow her though. she still has to time it properly to completely dodge the tower shot. also abilities that break tower aggro aren’t unheard of. camille ult, fizz e, elise e, maokai w, etc.
plus viego is a very unique case and is coded differently than most untargetability effects. he would be insanely broken if he could dive and get a free tower dodge on every reset. it would be pretty much impossible to not get a double kill every time you went bot. so he’s not really comparable to aurora

One frustrating thing I've seen same Aurora players do is that they go laundry's/blackfire first item, then because of how her Q works, they draw out the recast until the last possible second to get the most burn damage out.
I’ve not gone double burn. But I do this with liandries for sure.
yeah that's what you do when you get any form of burn cuz it increases damage by quite a bit (even with fated ashes it's like extra 25-30 damage per q)

One small correction: Her Q2 doesnt do % missing ho damage, but instead gains an small multiplier based on % missing hp
Also, one small tip that I dont see anyone using is that she cann actually QE flash (yes, bringing both Q and E on the flash) pretty reliable.
this can change her from being bullied by longer range mages mid on the entire lane fase to getting an Early kill and snowballing the game

One extra detail i noticed has an urgot main. Aurora's E can buffer displacements like Gragas R and so, efectivelly negating them. Idk if like Urgot's E, it works with poppy R.

@@Moonking7 bro, everyone is playing her in the top lane. Maybe she was designed for mid lane in the first place, but she is stronger in top lane now. Just like vayne, riot should have thought about this issue, but they just decided to watch top lane burn.

Another little combo I found, pretty much like with Ahri, you can QE-Flash with her if you're fast enough, provides less counterplay than Q-Flash-E
From what ive got from spamming her for a full day: ROA doesn’t really feel the best in terms of damage, I’ve been going blackfire torch first and this gives you more damage while helping waveclear. Cosmic drive seems to be a core item on her and I’ve tried building it second but again, you lose out on a good amount of damage by not taking liandrys second. Cosmic drive 3rd is a must and I think lich bane is another strong item on her. Electrocute is definitely the go to keystone but in match ups where you need to kite more, phase rush is better than fleet in my opinion. Electrocute scales the best imo and helps you burst people after lane phase
A lot of the time its more about staying alive longer than it is about doing damage. since you cant do damage if you die. and RoA has a great return on investment in survivability considering she does good enough damage early to survive without needing to build damage. and you get full wave clear by level 7 if you didnt botch your early game. I do think blackfire torch is better if the whole enemy team is squishy and you really need to outburst. Or you're going to be splitting against immobile bruisers. But if you are going to be skirmishing it might not be worth unless you're willing to try and perfectly outplay everyone.
yeah ROA feels miserable tbh. i understand the intention of building it for survivability and doing a hit and run type playstyle, but i feel like the rest of her kit isn’t strong enough to justify taking multiple rotations to kill someone, especially in the lategame.
So far the best build I've done is ring start, first recall tear them first item cosmic 2nd archangel and you do plenty of damage. She is a terrible burst mage tbh

@@eebbaa5560 raba 3rd unless I need zhonya. I don't really see the value in burn items if you go archangel. You do great damage and you aren't good at applying it like a poke mage. I feel like burn is bait on her either burst or survivability
Me be like: "looks kinda op, but her range is so small, how?", but then that explanation at 8:27 appears. Mostly only good at bullying bruisers. A truly nice and non-toxic role that was so much needed

Mage with a dash, resetting invisibility, aa blink, gnaar passive (but better), our bursts mordekaiser, low mana costs, low cds, ranged. Ok sure!
mana costs arent great, has really low dmg, spells have shit range + high casttime + they fly slowely, she is basically a walking ult, besides that she is completely useless

A good trick is that if you tp to the other side with ult, and kill the enemy, then you can W into the wall easier than moving since W resets on takedown, making it easier to escape. Good for dives.
The first nerf to her better be removing the ability to drop tower aggro with her ult teleport.
I don't know why they keep doing this. It just isn't a good mechanic to play against lmao, stop it.

Hey Dobby, there are currently only 3 grandmaster cho gath players in the world, one of them is close to hitting challenger, it would be interesting if you made a video on them or the one close to challenger(sakuritou). They all have different builds and playstyles, which makes an analysis even more interesting.

I just don’t like they allowed her to go invisible. She does damage, is tanky, has dashes, can go invisible, and her ULT is a game changer with the cooldown of a Lux ULT. I don’t get why they couldn’t give her a main ability and other abilities that just slightly help it like most older champs.

I play aurora mid but like a one shot mage, malignace, sonyas, lich bane and rabadons, i have 100% winrate in 11 games, so i think is decent even if i am low elo

Completely unrelated rant, but... Just balance the game like Dota2 already.
Let the ranged champs be solo laners while melees play with supports, would be much better than getting top laners to either stick to their tower or BEG their junglers to gank when the enemy ranged top pushes the wave for the 4209th time (and got away unpunished every time)

she is annoying in duels, but she shines in teamfights, her ultimate is one of the best, if not the best ultimate in the game, you either burn flash or get decimated by her team, while she is constantly getting resets and invisible... yikes
first clip: is one level above, has gank bonus, uses flash, barely survives, would have been dead if ez was enemy team, that's not strong at all, in fact, that's weak

She is such a pain in the toplane when you're playing a melee character, straight up free 30% hp harass with 2 abilities depending on who you're playing. I've turned to banning her
and people were trying so hard to tell me shes weak. been playin for a long time i know when something is overtuned. shes way too tanky with too much dmg man. unkillable unless she limit tests and will straight one tap you with her ult
