Tools needed:
7mm or 9/32 socket - here's a nice mini socket set by husky amzn.to/3zVQuDn
flathead screwdriver or
trim tab removal tool
inexpensive trim removal toolkit amzn.to/3BgtbFM
Best to buy bulbs in sets and replace them both even if only one is burned out. That way the brightness stays the same - esp if you are using a different level of bulb for a replacement.
I put links to 4 options for replacement bulbs including some LED bulbs. cheapest is the sylvania basic halogen version.
Had to shoot some extra footage to add as my initial filming was during a breakdown in a parking lot in full florida summer sun making it near impossible to see the iphone's screen so in some cases i couldn't see where i was aiming the camera and failed to get what i wanted in the shot. I figured whille i waited for AAA to come i would make good use of my time.

, i changed the headlight and only the highbeam is working
is it because i maybe didnt press the headlight all the way into the connector?

possible. also i forget if you can connect it backwards or not. just one side or both? double check you got the correct bulb - used/new? did you change both sides as recommended? possible bulb is defective. did you have highbeams before on both L and R? always try to trouble shoot the easier stuff first.

Yes. The same bulb serves as the hi and lo beam

If you remove the screws and body clips underneath that panel as well you will have more room to work and see what you are doing.

The gasket can get stuck on the headlight housing when you remove and you will have no clue until you struggle for half an hour trying to get the old one to turn, and realize it came off the original. Ask me how I know.

Literally happened to me
