You did it again. That's was beautiful. I know you must get tired of running back for the camera, but it makes for some spectacular views on video. Stay safe my friend.
Loved the sound of the frogs. I would like to take a trip like that one day. I have heard about canoing in Quetico Park. Home made Beaver Jerky and noodles... Great!
Thanks for another insightful video and your thoughts. Don't think I would call your views extreme, I would call them educated. You live there, you know the ecosystem, you are managing it properly and respectfully. If my life hadn't have made a few turns one of the paths I would have followed would have been similar to yours. Instead I enjoy it recreationally and not for a living. Thank you again, enjoy your thoughts.
You don't have extreme views on deforestation, in fact a huge number of Canadians are behind you. We don't have to be anti-forestry, we are just tired of clear cutting, plantations, monoculture, and the total eradication of old growth. We also know that clear cutting provides almost no Canadian jobs - the process is almost fully automated and done by a single feller machine in the field, and most logs are shipped to the USA whole and unprocessed, to create mill jobs on the other side of the border. That's the real reason we have no old growth left.
Canadian Sled Dog While down here, we strip our ground and send unprocessed logs to Japan, dirty our waters to ship filth oil to China...... Unregulated predatory capital will strip it all with no regard to “place” or “home,” no regard for anything that cannot be monetized. SOMEBODY better get a little “extreme.” Keep the faith, Sled Dog.
Another good one Clint, looks like a good spot for bear, I see lots of grass in the area, bears love that first grass in the spring. Good Luck and stay safe brother.
Hey Clint: Impressive video. All that blow down must make hiking tough & risky. I'm never sure what you are going to pull out of that back pack. Stay Safe. Thanks Brian 80
Good vid man. Would never hunt bear myself, against family heratiage. They are sacred to the family bloodline. But I completely understand why you would and do. Loving the vid's brother, u are living the life I wish I was young enough and in better shape to do. Stay safe and good adventures! 👍✌

Hey, thanks a lot Mark!
Logic is not extreme. Sustainable living is not extreme, stripping resources is.

Thanks bud. Agreed. Think we'd get on just fine over some trout fishing. I've got my sights set on the big land someday.

14:57 green bucket confirmed. You're in the clear this time, pilgrim.
Still using the GSI kettle I see, mine still sees a lot of use.

Great video bud, Time for you to do a labrador trip.
I agree!
Clint, what caliber rifle do you use for bear?
Hey, Todd. I use a 30-30.
Anyone that thinks your views are extreme need to have their head checked.
Hello Clint, what pack is that
I take it the fire-ban has been lifted?
Is this N. Ontario?
