He always appears to tell the heroes there will be a brighter future even in the darkest hour, he built his power from literally nothing, he is above the hero organisation in his morality. The mangaka really crafted a beautiful story about the potential humanity has to overcome it's monsters
Yeah maybe for everyone else probably but imo his state signifies depression and futility of ambition, he's the strongest being in the universe and yet he isn't happy, he lost his drive and no matter what he does his drive and hunger are gone, this song isn't hope but represents immense power and melancholy it gives, futility of struggle, he's the strongest and he knows it, villain has just realised that he never had any chance, it's uplifting but melancholic at the same time, this is what has to happen, nothing else wasn't even possible
