In this fascinating well-illustarted lecture, Dr Nada spoke very clearly and simply about the proper perioperative care of anaesthesia for spine surgery.
She concentrated on the complication of the prone positioning, especially loss of vision. she spoke thoroughly about how to avoid complications like blood loss, neurological damage, and loss of vision.
She explained the relation the loss of vision is mainly due to anemia, and hypotension during anesthesia.
Dr. Eman Nada is an excellent speaker and she is up to date and all slides are evidence-based medicine.
she is a very good academic researcher and excellent anesthesiologist.
Many thanks to Dr. Hoda Fawzy and Prof. Mohamed Ibrahim for chairing the session.
