- The fifth and final episode in this series of turning a Fortnite boat into a Gi joe classified cobra water moccasin. Also I ask the viewers opinion on my next big project and they decide what it is I do!!
I love it. It's so wild to me still. You get so much boat for so cheap, yet if it had a gi joe label from the manufacturer it would have been an eBay exclusive. Bless Fortnite haha.

The Pit is something that I dont think anyone else is going to do. I never read teh comics but being a marvel guy they did cool stuff like that all the time. That Turtle sand box idea is great also.

I think you did right by not worrying about the glass, they both are rising at a realistic height. In the original the gunner looked too high up and the driver like he was too low. This is the perfect combo.
COBRA NA NA NA NA NA NIIIIICE!!!! I got two of the boats on clearance awhile back. I was going to do one as Devilfish theme and the other as Hydrafoil just haven't got the time to do it yet.

Terror Drome. You could make it moduel. Make 1/4 of a circle.
Then cast it 3 times to make a full circle.
If someone wanted to just get 1/4 it would save them money.

For COBRA, Its _Silent Castle_ all day E-B-K! Go Look at the Hasbro PT or whatever Box-art for the 25th anniversary version. Dude even made A 4" custom of it.

IMO _Terra Drome_ is over-rated AF! Even as a kid, I thought it was over-rated. I got it for Christmas one year. The JOE base was better, it had more intricacies w/ the prison. And the side parking bays.
@latestred6510 I didn't know Silent Castle was an option. I guess I missed the part in the video where he mentioned it. I thought it was only between the Terror Drome or the Mother Ship. 🤝🏼

it seems even more powerful than the original, it had no missiles.
ok, the fan is a little thin, but you can adjust it over time,
the main body is dead on, cool decals.

@@piperatthegatesofdawn ok, I pick figs for missions - movies I might never do, lol, so they need a purpose, I see no purpose for Copper without his boat, but, not everybody buys them for the same reasons I guess, he s looking perfectly good on a shelve. in the 80s, I had most characters, and he was lost amongst them, perhaps it s different for other people. he s just so much less without it to me. what do you do with him?

I'm honestly thinking of grabbing one of those boats for free off of craigslist and dressing it up like the USS Flagg. Also have you ever seen one of the Max Steel attack jets for the 12-in figures it actually looks pretty close to being a fire bat already That's what I made mine from.

@@gunbunnycustoms4302 yeah I got one and painted it crimson red put a couple of fins on the wings. I didn't make the wings fold like the original toy though. I also made a custom AVOC using The Red guardian from Black widow with a custom head.

In thinking smaller, I'd like to see someone make M.A.S.K. helmets that'd fit on 6-inch scale figures. I recall Ramentoy did those 3pack heads for MOTU movie heman swapping with official release. It seems like he could do something similar for his not-top gun figures; and potentially leverage the computer imaging/sculpting for both 6-inch scale and his 2.5-inch M.A.K.I.N.A. line.
Whether it's him, or someone else, and whether it's a helmet to fit *_over_* a 6-inch figure head (like some of the black series clones/mandalorians/bad batches) or a straight head swap where helmet fits to the neck peg... I'd be in on getting them.

Width times 3.14 will give you length on a circle, still waiting on my waterslides from the same dude. Your mod looks great. Damn shame we have to do all this cause hasbro dropped the ball.

What kind of clear coating are you using over your paint? I've done a few (much smaller in scope) kit bashes and keep having issues with paint peeling on painted handles/steering wheels.
I use rustoleum dead flat. It does help quite a bit with paint rub, but unfortunately, it doesn’t eliminate it completely….

I think GI Joe HQ has the most crossover with the current assortment of official vehicles, but it's clear your passion is with Terror Drome. May be best to do the Cobra base first because your heart will be more in it and you may gain some things from it you could put into the other projects should you do them after
I agree, the hq would be the most fitting and honestly probably the easiest to make out of all of them… so maybe I should start with that and then jump to the larger more complex terrordrome… thank you for your feed back and thank you for watching!
