Texas teen walks 1,600 miles to Washington, D.C. to raise awareness for Social Security reform

  • Eliseo Jimenez finished strong, arriving at the nation's Capitol Wednesday, greeted by congressional staffers, cheers and a candy bar.
    The 17-year-old started his journey on July 12 in his hometown of Lubbock to raise awareness about the challenges facing his grandmother and her elderly neighbors struggling to get by on Social Security.
