I have to agree, laburnum is amazing and you have got a great design with it, I love the finish too. I'm going to buy it an try it out too. Ive been using sanding sealer and beeswax/mineral oil so far. I started turning in December and am already addicted.

It is for sure Rachel beautiful wood, the citrus burnishing oil definitely one of my favourite finishes, and for sure an addiction in a good way 👍

I have a load of Laburnum here it's so dry its hard to turn, I worked with a Kenny at the Dorchester in London mid to late 60's. 🙏
Laburnum can be hard, but a nice sharp tool will get it done, slow and steady,
