CT SCAN UPDATE!! I ask y'all to please continue to pray for me. I had my doctor's appointment last week for the CT scan. I was told that I have a tumor on my left temperal lobe, they didn't tell me the size, they just said that they caught it early enough that they are going to try medication first which is some kind of steroid that starts now (I have the medication) and have an appointment with a Neurosurgeon in June. We are praying and believing that when I go in June, the tumor won't be there. Thank you in advance. God Bless.

Steroids are used to treat the symptoms of the tumour but will not stop the tumour from growing. Hopefully, the neurosurgeon has a plan to actually treat the tumour, not just the symptoms caused by it. 🙏

This is the banana pudding I make, Paula Deen’s Not ‘Yo Momma’s banana pudding. My family likes shortbread cookies in it but instead of the high dollar Chessman cookies, I use these alphabet shortbread cookies from Walmart and I like to spell out things in top. I did Happy Easter on top this year.

Kim, be on the prowl for an electric turkey roaster/s (NESCO brand is great). Its like having two crock pots in one and great for cooking two hams, your double recipe of mac and cheese, chili for a crowd, etc. Plus, your giant dishes (like mac and cheese) won't take up valuable oven/microwave real estate on the day of the party. You can set them right up on your serving table and they become your serving dish. They don't cost that much and even if you only use it a few times per year, you'll be so glad you have it. You can also use it to store party supplies like serving pieces, extra plastic flatware and plates, table covers and smaller serving bowls when not in use. With the amount of entertaining you do, you'll be glad to have one or two.. Your party looks amazing. Everyone looks happy. Great job, well done!!!!!

Oh my gosh… I love my turkey roaster but I thought it was only for a turkey… I mean I’m only 78 years old 🤦♀️🫣 I can’t wait to try something else in it !!

Nesco is the best. I have 3 in different sizes. Love the 12 and 18 quarts. Plug them in and you free up the oven and microwave. They can air roast too. Kinda big to store but so worth having them and you have so many more large events then I do. Just store them in the top shelve of your pantry so you know where they are and have easy access to them. Loved the Easter party. Kim, you really do work so hard to make these events memorable for eveyone! You are the hostess with the hostess AND the woman across the room. Love how entertaining you are! You're back!

Hope ya all had a great Easter Day. I just finished making 27 chicken salad sandwiches and a chocolate eclair cake for a church lunch Thursday. Had to get it ready early. Having my 3rd back surgery (in last 1.5 years). Please keep me in u all prayers that all goes well. This is it. Can't do any more...lol.

Ok I want to go to Kim's house for Easter. Or my birthday. Or any other holiday. Seriously though, I grew up in a large family with tons of cousins, Aunts & Uncles and these are the kinds of holiday gatherings we had when I was a kid. A lot of our family have passed, and these gatherings are smaller and smaller as years go by. Watching your videos brings back sweet memories. You make me think of my mom and all the hostess things she always did to make family memories that (apparently) last forever, long after everyone is gone. Thank you Kim!! ❤

Someone may have said this already! When shredding the carrots there is a hole in the part you press them down with. Put the carrot in there so it stays straight and then push on it with the small insert that also fits in that same hole.

Unimpressed? She went thru each item, commented favourable and they had a good laugh about the puns. Re " why did you get me all this chocolate" we know from countless videos that Kim has said she finds it difficult to stop herself from eating sweets/chocolate when they're in the house, so I took it more as she was grateful but also was aware she would likely eat them faster than she'd like. They obviously have a good relationship and work well together, you insinuating that Kim doesn't appreciate her husband is distasteful especially as it's obviously not the case.

If you're already partially chopping up the carrots, they can go in the food processor and pulse them, no shredding blade necessary, they chop up just as fine as a grater! I learned that last year with my Carrot Cake Whoopie Pies 😊
Happy easter from Scotland. Looks like you all had so much fun wish i could come to one of ur partys . Its crazy as hear in Scotland the easter holidays for us starts like was fridsy for 2 weeks so schools are off just now . Ano yous call it spring break wee just call it easter holidays and even at new year our schools are of. In Scotland and the uk wee do big choc eggs u get a large egg say its mini eggs and then u get a pack of sweets in the box to. Wee all typically juys give a choc egg especially when i was growing uo .im 42 now my daughter 25 wee got her and her man 2 big choc eggs and there baby my gran daugter aurora will be 2 on sat wee got her some colouring books and stickers and pens a few out fits and some little chocolates mainly kinder that she is allowed x to many ppl treat it like its xmas x

Such an amazing eggstravaganza yet again Kim. You really do a wonderful job. A lot of work , a labor of love. Kudos to you for all your hard works. This is all the best memories you’ve made for your family to remember and pass on Can I come next year? lol. 😂. To top it off you live in a warm climate where you can have a blast outside with it all. One day I’m gonna visit Florida. I’d love to see a nice part of somewhere there before I get old. Oh btw. Try a coating I learned from Amish women. Use brown sugar, honey, pineapple juice and crushed a little bit of it or as much as you want, and a squirt or two of lemon or lime juice. Stir if you get a gooey yet slowly pourable texture try that. You can always add more of anything to make it your own taste. It is good. Another really good Pennsylvania Dutch recipe is raisin sauce. Use soaked raisins then drain and put in pot add a tbl😊of cornstarch and some brown sugar and a squirt of lemon juice or lime and cook on medium low until bubbling then put on low for about 15 minutes. Then put in a gravy boat and serve over your ham slice. It’s so tasty. Try it.

Gorgeous day! Great awesome fantastic and perfect job as always. Your backyard looks even bigger than I thought and front too and the lake is so fun looking. So cool. It’s the perfect season for that kind of party also. So sorry your princess dress broke but you can always get it done by a seamstress for next year or event if you want. But I know it’s just not the same. The food all looked top notch and yummy. The event activities looked amazing. What do the adults do? Sit around and talk and laugh or run around with their kiddos? Your tables looked great for a crowd and doable so not endless fine dumb work thay wastes time you can be making that yummy mashed taters and Mac n cheese and hams. I’m just down for the fruit and Boursin cheese table. lol. Here’s your reminder to return the crockpot before you forget. Thanks for sharing your Easter. I know it’s your job on UA-cam but also it’s a privilege to see the event and feel even slightly a part of it when I had an alone holiday. I enjoy seeing what you dream up and some keto/macro friendly ideas and then the decadent stuff. And yeah the good old chicken salad in a croissant is always an easy hit.
You’ve really gotten down the big bashes. Oh and I loved the big peeps signs and am so glad you bought them. So love most of all how well you and Alex work together. The love and partnership is palpable and that’s what makes it so special most of all.
Happy spring now that Easter is over and I hope you have caught up on rest after that. I feel a Wads beach and some garlic lime chicken coming up! Or is that the beach trip I haven’t seen yet? Anyways just great job and makes me happy to see folks who love life to be festive and fun the way I do!

The preshredded anything [cheese, cabbage, carrots, etc] is coated with flour and/or corn starch which is why especially in baking, it changes the results

When I make carrot cake, I put my carrots in a high speed blender with the wet ingredients. It’s so easy!

When you said that you were going to cater Easter I said to myself, nope Kimberly Whisk will be cooking and baking up a storm for everyone. Because you're correct, everything tastes better when its made with love. Everything looked delicious too. Our schools had Thursday-Monday off, they went back Tuesday. Another fantastic party at the Wadsworth lake home. Happy Easter.

We always put the vanilla wafers on bottom then the bananas then pudding mixture then the wafers and bananas and pudding again then cool whip on top. But I don't think there's a way to mess it up. Still tastes good

In the south we layer vanilla wafers, bananas and pudding (at least 2-3 layers). Then top with meringue. Use the recipe for the pudding (from scratch). It is fantastic!!
