It is in fact, one of the most widely consumed stimulants in the world. From coffee to tea to energy drinks, caffeine is a part of many people's daily routine. But do you know how much caffeine is too much, and what effects it can have on your health?"
Moderate caffeine consumption, which is defined as up to 400 mg a day, is generally considered safe for most adults.
That's equivalent to about 4 cups of brewed coffee or 2 energy drink cans.
However, excessive caffeine consumption can lead to side effects such as insomnia, anxiety, and heart palpitations.
That is, why you should be aware of your caffeine intake and monitor your tolerance to it. If you're experiencing negative effects from caffeine, consider cutting back or eliminating it from your diet altogether.

Pro tip: if you're at the point where excessive caffeine doesn't make you feel alert and instead you're just anxious and sweaty, take 2-3 weeks off of it to reset your tolerance. The withdrawal headache can be killer, but around 60mg caffeine with APAP or an NSAID can usually quell the pain for most.

I’m 14 (almost 15) and I drink about 300 mg of caffeine a day. I notice that that is the most I can have before I start excessively sweating 😅

I drink two to three energy drinks a day consisting of 300 mg of caffeine per energy drink. Also, maybe six cans of diet Mountain Dew consisting of 50 mg of caffeine per can I consume over 1200 mg of caffeine per day and I’m starting to notice extreme headaches because I also have a bad sugar habit

@@joshuafollowsJesusChristturns out it wasn’t the coffee, but stress! I never believed stress could be damaging to the body, but after two visits to the ER I learned this. now just need to be cool as the pressure of life mounts 😅
Also apparently the palpitations were not palpitations but could be considered arrhythmia

Here after drinking 1,000 mg of energy drinks and experiencing weird feelings in my chest
i remember that some time ago in 1 week and 4 days i drink 13 cans 330ml with 16mg/100ml caffine 10 cans 32mg/100ml caffine and 2 cans 500ml 40mg/100ml caffine that give a total number of 15,264mg in 11 days i was felling sometimes like sick or something but everything was normal now i stop drinking that much caffine and to be honest i fell almost the same, is that much caffine to much for human body beacuse after seing this video i think that im special or something🤔

Fun fact: I’m 10 years old. I accidentally had a 20 fl oz of Mountain Dew (137.5 mg of caffeine). I usally don’t even get 25 mg of caffeine. I couldn’t sleep and pulled one of my first all nighters. I am commenting this at 5 am in the night that I did the all nighter. Accidentally had way to much caffeine :l

that's normal for your age. consider taking lower dosages and taking it in the morning so that gives your body has time to break it down and won't cause you insomnia.

Over 400 mg is not healthy and recommended. I am 10 years old and accidentally had 137.5 mg of caffeine. For me, that is over 7 times my average 😬 I pulled one of my first all nighters and my bpm was at 120 the whole night. (Btw this was not on purpose)

If you've built up a tolerance you can have more than most people. Two 160mg drinks are fine for me. Most I had was over 500mg in a few hours.
I'm taking 200mg pill and one energy drink with 160mg tomorrow before/during my leg workout.
I have 200mg 5 days a week hopefully imma be alr long term ik I’ll be fine short term

@@YJ-7400 is safe. Anythinh more is probably Too much, if you feel you need anymore. Probably just stop drinking for a while I stopped drinking caffine for like 4 days, and it was enough to lower my toleranfe drastically. I think I can only handle like 200 ish mg now. When I use to be able handle way more.
