@@ocsmo5650 Well then ive upgraded Ems own lyrics. “Past” would have been better and made more sense IMO. He’s always talking about what he went through when he was younger or the earlier stages in his career.
@@dubheirs511 hardly an upgrade, you would have wanted Em to rhyme ‘past’ and “passed” together? But actually it isn’t an upgrade, because Em was known in his early days to hand out flyers (which is actually what caused his beef with ICP) which is when he would ‘promote his passion’ as a rapper. So no, it makes perfect sense as it already is.
@@ocsmo5650 he wasnt rhyming those two words though. He was rhyming “passed out” with “lash out” and “glass house”. So whether or not it was “past” or “passion” it wouldn’t effect the rhyme. Eminem is the beat lyrically rhymes u through it absolutely 🔥
This whole album is one of my favorites. Out of 16 songs only 2 songs are bad.
I tend to dislike some of his beats on the first listen, but the way Em flows on them bad boys makes you learn to love them
Don’t understand how reactors don’t like the chorus. It’s his own twist on the original sample. Even though they recognise the beat, They probably don’t know the original well enough to know how good he’s made it his own.
Yea, I don‘t like that he skipped over it. It‘s part of the song and not even that long..
I don’t think he likes the original song that much either
I mean I can appreciate some Eminem singing but that high note he tries....Is awful
@@zu3834 I might be a big fan but he can't hit high notes. His singing peaked in halies song
@@zu3834 then why are you calling me a fool for saying his singing can be bad?
They messed up the lyrics for when he said “I’m promoting my *PAST* until I’m passed out”.
No, he definitely says “I’m promoting my _passion_ until I’m passed out” not “ _past_ “, it’s on every major lyrics site including Genius.
It just seems like something em would do by using two different versions of “past/passed” in the same bar using both meanings. But, you’re right. He definitely says passion.
@@dubheirs511 well considering he loves internal rhyme schemes, using two words that basically sounds the same doesn’t work, hence why he clearly didn’t use it.
And as I have already explained, promoting his passion of rap makes more sense.
