Haha loved how dad had to move the mic to give himself room to bop his head 😂
Hi Ren or nah?
50 cent- how to rob!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I thought it was impossible for someone not to have heard this song lol
Yeah kinda makes me wonder about the authenticity of many reactions....
No way in hell is he hearing it for the first time
specially when you point 50 cent as the best rapper as he did I mean if you like 50 that much you definetly know about in da club
ikr ain't no way he has never heard of this.
Exactly. He would have heard it on a radio
Or on a movie or somewhere. Def not authentic
After 50 was shot (9bullets) his label ended the contract. Eminem signed him to his label with Dr. Dre.
Went to Canada for this album.........and "In Da Club" shook up the hiphop world! 50ct returned stronger than ever!
50 is Eminem forever thankful for giving him a change! We know they are besties.
50 is Eminems biggest Stan and we all love him for it
You skipped the part about why Eminem signed him. When 50 got dropped, he decided to release several mixtapes to create buzz. In the process, he completely changed the way mixtapes were made. He was taking most popular songs, rapped over their beats and released projects for free (something Lil Wayne, Drake, etc. would copy YEARS later, he was so ahead of his time). He released several mixtapes with G-Unit, and then Eminem heard his solo mixtape Guess Who's Back. It might not have the $$$ production by Dre, but it's still banging to this day. No wonder Em loved it so much he signed 50.
Specifying how many bullets the man took is the corniest thing ever
@@jojomtmswhat are you talking about?when talking about 50 getting shot most of the time people specify because of the gravity of surviving a situation like that. Even all these years later people still talk about it. He literally has a song called 9 shots, so I guess he’s corny too?
@@TheMightyKiD38to add to it all, in addition to being shot, he made songs like "How to Rob" that got him basically black balled from the industry. A lot of ppl wouldn't touch 50, but his mixtape run, which led to Em and Dre became a perfect storm for him to rise up. The industry is much better for it.
Bonus point: This is still a favorite "Birthday song", 'til this day, in the club. "Go Shawty, it's your Birthday! We gonna party like it's ya Birthday!"💃
In da club and any song by Flo Rida, are played at every middle aged white womans birthday party. Nothing wrong with it, just every time they get requested.
And you know we don’t give a fuck that it’s your birthday!!! 😭😭😭😭😭😭
50 Cent has shown versatility in his music, with the ability to switch between different styles and flow patterns. He can deliver aggressive and hard-hitting bars as well as more melodic and mellow tracks.
i am going to sip bacardi like its your birth day
@@Greatoneissyyou can find me in da club, bottle full of bub
When this video dropped it sent 50 into outer space.
So true
I’m 68 and always loved 50 cent so much always will❤❤❤❤❤❤
DAMN
ufff
I hope uff was ment in a nice way 🤣🤣❤️❤️
@@RobynLocke-t8tyes it was 😂,
My mom is a 68 year old white lady in Iceland (nearly all whites) and she is a big Snoop fan and even went to his concert here, and she ended up in the papers being called oldest Snoop fan in the country. She also love for exampe WuTang Clan Gravel Pit and yes 50 cent too hahaha
Big ups to pops realizing how dope the beat is. Great channel guys !
I remember when 50 cent came out, it was like no one had anything to say when he came out. Nyc stand up
Love your father son chemistry.. it uploads more than the actual musicians
These two are amazing
That father and son duo such a special bond happening here
This is and Michael Jackson’s favorite song. He said Michael called him when this song came out 😂😂
I was a freshman in college when this song came out and I've never seen people respond more to any track in a party or club setting. People went nuts every time for over a year.
Cuz we were in the club😂😂😂😂
I wanna be a dad like your dad when I have kids of my own
50 Cent Is the GOAT. Fun fact about "In Da Club" the beat was passed around to many artists like D12 and even Rakim and they didn't know what to do with it. 50 Cent heard it and immediately made this hit. Since you and your Dad are big fans of 50, you guys should watch my documentary "How 50 Cent Got Rich and Nearly Died Tryin" I traveled all over America to interview people that worked on the Get Rich or Die Tryin album. Insane stories in my doc about how some of these songs were made and how they broke records that never were broken before. Great video!
Your dad just GETS IT! He’s so cool.
Get rich or die tryin’ will forever be my favourite album
This is one of my all time favorite rap songs. 50 is criminally underrated, he dominated this era with Em.
@randywhite3947 He is underrated right now, people never think of him when they say top 10 guys.
i love pops haha he said what was i doing that i missed this stuff 😂😂😂😂
So many tears by Tupac smile by Tupac thug luv by Tupac
I've been in a Pac frame of mind lately (and always)...I even have on a Tupac t-shirt at this very moment.
This or Candy Shop is the greatest beat of all time
Just a lil bit slaps too
Window shopper :D
HY... I was gonna say Window shopper❤
I love window shopper beat too, but candy shop? It's the same song as magic stick... 🙄
I like P.I.M.P.
This one is a classic! One of the best songs of all time.
When pops say what was I doing in 2003 , were I missed this ..and Kai says me classic 😅
😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂
bars!!!
WHEN THIS CAME OUT EVERYTHING STOPPED IN HIP-HOP.HISTORIC TRACK
One rare occasion where you can play the clean version and it still hits just as hard. The absolute zenith of gangster rap, everything changed after 50. And I'm a massive Game fan
Dad is a certified hip hop head, the delegation has spoken,,,he is now invited to the cookout!
You guys are still using this tired saying! People only have to indulge in music and dance and y’all we invite them anywhere and sell the culture out! How shallow 🤦🏾♀️ please put the “cookout” invites to bed 🙄 and that mentality.
@@It.is.I-tx6ri you the one that brings food no one eats to the cookout.
Overall, 50 Cent's talent, authenticity, versatility, and influence in the hip-hop industry are some of the reasons why he is considered a good rapper.
@@It.is.I-tx6ri Exactly, it is so annoying.
Stop it bruh
Finally a reaction video worth watching. So much clickbait online where they just sit with straight faces. Very cool.
This beat was so fire, they had to let it breathe at the beginning, and at the end 🔥🔥🔥
your dad is awesome dude, been so fun watching him react to the music i grew up with
He is smooth as silk 😂❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I love that Dad loves 50 Cent! 50 is really one of the best that ever did it. Thanks for the great content, guys! 💖💖
50 cent is one of the hardest out of New York. 🔥🔥💯
I must be about the same age as the Dad, Im 46, and for him to have not only not LOVED this song back in the dayl, but not even heard of it I find next to impossible. I remember where I was when this album came out. I was like 25 and it was huge. If you were into HIP HOP at all, and I was, this song and album were Everyhwhere! Maybe the dad was listening to country is the only thing that makes any sense, cause even if he was busy, like he says, it was on the radio non stop or the tv or wherever you went. Top 5 albums of all time, due to the ridiculous beats Dre put on this for 50 to shine!
Even if he was listening to country he would’ve heard this song
@@knowethjc29exactly, they were playing it everywhere
My friend and I (in a small, mostly white town in northern Michigan) would bump this every day when we rolled up on our middle school. 😂
I love all of your reactions. Being open and willing to see things from different perspectives is so valuable. Thanks guys!
Loved his "Big Ups" to Xzibit, he is so underrated. Great track, will go down in rap immortality
Fun fact, The Game is also in this clip, and this was before his documentary album.
He still has a bullet fragment in his tongue from the time he was shot at nine times and almost lost his life.
It would be cool if you could introduce your dad to the independent backpacker hip-hop scene from the early 2000s. Folks like MF Doom, Aesop Rock, Mr Lif, Cannibal Ox, C-Rayz Walz, Cool Calm Pete... historically, that was a really important and influential time for hip-hop. Sorry for commenting on an unrelated video but it just occurred to me while watching and I wanted to put the idea into your head.
Again with help from the most underrated DJ Quik. Drums and clap.
Michael Jackson really liked this song.
I heard that he’d be telling his drivers to bump this in his car.
U know it’s a bop when Michael is loving it.
❤
50 is top 5, play don't push me for him. lyricism goes wild
I like 50....but ive always felt he was slightly overrated...the music goes hard in the gym...and he has a nice aura...but the lyricism is very overstated
Hell nahh
your father is a great person and he raised a great son. glad how u appreciate music in its entirety
50 Cent is known for his clever wordplay, storytelling, and ability to craft catchy hooks in his songs. His lyrics often touch on themes such as street life, struggle, and overcoming adversity.
Respect! My son had to step away to do a bid, but music is one our favorite bonding times. I can't wait till he comes back home. Hopefully I'm not too old to be hip by then.
Ain't no way you know the album but never heard of that song. literally impossible
he know the album because they listened to track from it before. but he's not listening to the other tracks so that they can discover it together.
@@OMGreeniit’s impossible in this day to not know this song tho
My fam always plays this song on everyone’s birthday and even when it’s no one’s bd 😂 my dad is a big fan of 50 and my dad always talks about how much he loves 50’s beats that’s why he likes him so much. I’ve grown up listening 50 he’s just a great artist honestly.
Love seeing the look in your dad's eye, like remembers the feeling of being a young man on prowl!😊❤❤❤
I lost my dad and we use to jam out like this my pop's had great taste in music cherish ur pop's!!!!!
You need to show your dad all of 50's catalog 🔥
Timeless hip-hop track, will ALWAYS be a banger
In 2003 i was 17 years old and starting love to rap music especially from dirty south and NY. But when 50 came out with this song people were shocked including me! 50 crash everybody! I fall in love immediately with rap. That song slaps so so hard.
If this thing came up in nowadays, it became a instant viral on every social media with couple hundreds milion views in couple of day!
Love the father and son chemistry!
Greetings from Poland. Stay safe everybody!
I love these reactions
50 cent’s first single was Wanksta.. and it was EVERYWHERE!! especially because it was attached to his beef with Ja rule.
I was in grade 12 in western Canada when this album came out. I remember cruising around town in my ealry 90s dodge pickup listening to this album over and over again. Then a few years later I was old enough to get into the clubs and when this song came on everyone always got up to dance. This one brings me back to a happy carefree time in my life for sure!
No - this reaction was priceless because this beat is honestly one of the greatest pieces of music ever produced (and your dad reacted immedietly to it), that's the thing with Dre, he makes universal music. I remember playing this to my grandmother, dad, mom - all who hate hip hop and they were stunned at this beat. What 50 did to this was equally as difficult to do, to come up with that concept so simple, so catchy yet so effective is incredibly hard, this is hands down one of the best songs ever.
My mother is almost 70 and can recite this songs hook and artist. How has this man never heard “In Da Club”? Was he lost at sea? 😂
😂😂😂you are soo bad ❤❤ the club wasn't open yet!😢
i think you just unlocked everything needed for him to understand the hype of the superbowl performance "dre day"
Y’all should listen to the whole album “Get rich or die trying” it is known to be one of the greatest albums in rap history. Not my personal favorite but it’s still an amazing project!
I’d say half of the album is amazing and the rest of the songs are fillers, but the songs that slap are on such a high level that they alone make that album an absolute classic.
nah there’s other stuff to spend their time on
@@MrMaddzkillz yeah fs
Definitely needs a full album listen, it's what started the change in the genre to the newer sound
Yeah I usually listen to songs not albums but I let this album just play through. Good workout music or driving music.
So cool. I always enjoy your reactions n breakdowns. So cool to see Dad n son with such chemistry. Makes me miss my Dad dearly.
Y'all should check out "You don't know" - Eminem, 50 cent and a few others. The flows on that track were amazing.
The son is so soft spoken, i love it
love the podcast but it seems hard to believe he never heard this song.. It was a Mega Hit.. Great Show as usual.
“Mildly spittin confidence” 💯🔥😂
Would love to see your reaction to the super bowl halftime Dr.dre, snoop dogg, kendrick, mary j blidge, eminem, and special guest 50 did 👁👁
Get rich or die trying is one of the few albums that I could listen to almost entirely
He should hear 'Baltimore Love Thang' it's really underrated.
Your dad is my dream dad. Compatible conversation b/w dad & child: it seems your dad loves our generation’s songs. 🥰 Simultaneously, my dad never be curious about my music taste at all. 😝
BIG 50 CENT LEGENDARY ❤🔥🐐
There’s never been a movement like 50s ever in rap. It was absolute madness because everyone knew he actually lived that life. 50 is a one of a kind human being. Absolutely ruthless but likeable
Quick correction, His introduction song was Wanksta. I remember that song being on all the mixtapes a year before he dropped the album.
Yall came a long way since I first subbed. Happy for you guys. Pops vibing to the classics brings me joy.
It's cool being able to vicariously enjoy listening this for the first time with your pops.
One the best rap debut albums in my opinion. I think your dad would like "Outta Control" remix, 50 feat. Mobb Deep
I am SO glad the era of censored videos is a thing of the past. Try reacting to BMF. The editing on that thing is horrendous 😂
"Leave it to me, I'll say it right" haha luva ya pops! ❤😂🎉
It took me 21 years and you guys reaction video for me to realize that The Game was in the " In The Club" video this whole time.. @ 9:33
What a great react as always! Love you guys!
Thanks Marcus ❤️❤️❤️
Man when this came out, the place went totally crazy. It changed everything. Never seen anything like it before or since.
Long overdue for pops to react to this classic hip hop song!!!
Thx for the content!!
I am 50 and this song never left my playlist. I also Liked how D12 referenced to this video in their video My Band ☺ Beyoncé covered it too and I like that version too they still play it in clubs ere in Holland (EU)
You keep saying Aftermath, but you’re leaving Shady records out of it. Shady records belongs to Eminem. Aftermath belongs to Dr. Dre. Eminem wanted 50 on Shady records, but felt that Dr. Dre’s partnership would be a better fit for 50’s introduction to the world. 50 was already hot in New York and some of the East Coast. But he was risky to most record labels because he had been shot 9 times, and had a gangster persona. Eminem didn’t care and convinced Dre to partner with him on signing 50. That’s why he was a Shady/ Aftermath artist. Because Shady was the label he was directly signed to, but Aftermath partnered with Shady records to make the deal happen. Em would later say that him and Dre went 50 50 on 50. That’s also why 59 is so loyal to Eminem. Because he was a real fan of 50 before the world knew 50 and took a risk even Dre wasn’t too sure about. And wouldn’t have done it if Eminem didn’t convince him to.
lol 59
Aftermath is ALL over the production of 50's commercial debut
Wikipedia over here 👀
@@sugarsore lol @ 59. I thought he was referring to Royce Da 5'9 😂

Baltimore Love Thing is my favorite 50 track. Dude is such a legend, but as a Balmorian who saw many people close to me go down that path into developing that 'love thing' I gotta pick that one.
50- life’s on the line
Now you gotta watch the Super Bowl LVI performance! I think you guys will really enjoy the performance and the all the surprises of it.
You both amazing 🔥
I freaking love your dad! "What was I doing in 2003 that I missed this?" Lol😂😂😂❤❤❤❤
I was hooked the first time I heard this song.
…another gem! You guys are great. ❤️
Still blows my mind that 50 got snubbed for album of the year on this one. Didn’t matter if we were in the house or outside all you heard was GRODT since it dropped.
I love that dad loves 50 ❤❤❤ sooooo cool. I love your channel guys!!! Keep reacting … sending love from the Bay Area 👍👍👍👍😎😎😎✌️✌️✌️✌️
Dad: What was I doing in the 2003 that I missed this staff
Son: Meeeee❤
Dad: haha, Ya raising you ❤❤❤❤❤
To this DAY. Instant gratification.
What rock were you living under to not have heard this song? It’s in movies.. played at the SuperBowl. 😂😂😂😂
First time listening to it…def not the first time hearing it 😂
You two should listen to the streaming version together too - a few of the lyrics are changed in this radio version 😁
I love how his dad was able to immediately notice how monstrous this beat is 😂
Really cool reaction. Love the father son relationship very solid.
what a song, never get tired of this 🙌💯
I knew I liked dad when he said “in da club”
Seeing this made my day!
