    Great video. I'm a total newbie at wax melts. I can see what happens to the moulds when you heat them but why do you need to do that please? Love the double pouring, it's a lot like some of the resin craft techniques

    I know this vid is kinda old but I hope you see this to try it. Try using the frother and then hit it with the heat gun to see if that pops the bubbles. It’ll just be that thin top layer and you can hit it from a distance. And gradually get closer.

    Anais Anais was my first perfume, given by my mom in a handbag when I was 13 in 1981! Dear memories indeed and that's why I have the dupe too! Does it accelerate in soap, Karen, it probably does because of the florals? Because the company in England I bought it from (with a woman, but she doesn't sell fragrances anymore now) only gave info when you had FB which I don't have. Thanks, Karen! I'm still watching the video but I am sure the waxmelts will be beautiful!

    • @EdensSecret1
      @EdensSecret1  3 роки тому

      1981 I haven't tried it in soap but I would expect it to accelerate like crazy.

    The perfume that I have been wearing, since I was 17 (i'm 42 now) is Curve. I'm not sure I would want that in a wax melt though. Does anyone know of Curve? And not Curve for Men, it comes in a blue and silver tin. Smells so pretty. I rarely wear perfume anymore, so I don't know what is really out on the market these days. When I was WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY younger, 13sh, I remember Vanilla Fields....and eXclamation! I think that is how it was on the bottle...black and white? the bottle kind of looked like one too. Can't remember too much anymore. I would like to go to a department store or wherever they sell these perfumes to get a good a sniff and see what they smell like, that is for sure!!! These are so fun to watch and very informative as well!
    Thank you for the video!!!!

    Hello. Quick question…. When you stirred your fragrance into the waxes you only stirred for maybe 20 seconds each. Why do you not stir for 2 minutes? I ask because that’s what I’ve always done and have always been told. 😇. Love your channel!!!

  • @NettiieB

    Great video as usual! What temp do you add fragrance oil? I find the wax cools down quite quickly so I add it pretty much straight away.

    • @EdensSecret1
      @EdensSecret1  3 роки тому +1

      75f (a lot of people add it cooler but like you I find it cools down the wax too quickly so I add mine at 75)

I am calculating how much wax would hold in 1 full mold (6 cavity bars). If you can help, please do as I have to import all ingrediants i need and I want to shop smart. Thanks for sharing once again. I found you last week and i am in love.... best wishes!!!

      You can pour water into your mould to find out how much wax you'll need. So if each compartment holds 60g of wax (10g of that will be fragrance the other 50g will be wax) hope that helps

    What's the point of it looking so nice when mixing and pouring when you put in warming bowl to melt a cube and the mica sinks to the bottom of the bowl leaving a clear liquid layer on top? How do I stop that from happening? tia :)

  • @justaddlivingwater
    @justaddlivingwater 2 роки тому

    So, if u mess up on a color after you poured it can u melt it down in your vessel,reheat it fix it, repair & have it still come out right? On Wax Melts..
