The cockpit detail is amazing on the pmdg 747. This is very promising as it should look even better in MSFS. Unfortunately at the rate they are releasing aircrafts I think it will be more than two years from now. Great video as always! It was pretty funny to see that tow truck just destroying your nose gear!
Verry nice video as always. :) I'm just glad to have this old boeing videos from P3D from you that often! A little hint from my side at 39:00 when you can spott the G/S indication on the PFD most of the pilots pull the aircraft a little bit with Vertical Speed to not level out on the final altitude. This saves a little bit of fuel as the engines doens't have to spin up again :) I wish you a good road into the new year tonight! Lorin
Fellow spotter here at MIA, @47:05 realistically, the DLH 748 would sit on the taxiway and wait for the A380 to push back and leave for you to park there, but that’s Vatsim. He is not going anywhere LOL
@@mraviatorboii2510In real life Lufthansa (currently 747-8) arrives at KMIA at 3pm at gate J17 and leave the gate at 5pm. Just after, Air France AF90 (777-300ER) arrives at gate J17 too at 6pm before leaving in the evening. Both Lufthansa and Air France park at J17 at Miami (and only J17. Hey man, one thing. When landing, try to aim for the threshold so you don't land too deep. Also, I agree with you when you said your flare was too aggressive, I always have the same issue with floating because I'd pull the pack on the control too aggressively and then I end up floating it. My instructor tells me to aim for the threshold and then gently straighten the aircraft (flare) while gently adding more and more back pressure on the control column until her main wheels touch down. My landings in real life and in the sim have been smooth ever since, anyways a great video as always💯
Aiming for the threshold would be a really bad idea in a jetliner, especially in a 747 where you're sitting a little bit higher. For this reason, you go for 3 white PAPIs instead of 2 in a 747.
@@larsw8776 I agree, I meant he should aim at a point just after the threshold, to give him some kind of aiming point. It's not always good to rely on Papi's because they could be inaccurate on a bad day. you never know with technology.
You should start sequencing the legs on the MCDU to have the correct to waypoint Incase of a go around, for example the intercept heading was correct but the waypoint was hedan which was behind you
Very good video I really love the 747 and much more with the lufthansa livery and I would like you to make a flight from Los Angeles to Frankfurt with a 747 I think it would be spectacular.
Agree, always wanted to fly this route. Unfortunately there are only very old LAX sceneries available for P3D so I never bought it. Maybe we will do it in MSFS one day :)
Hello, I'm in confused in some case and I need some help. I all ready bought the P3D V6., but I do not get chance to install it. However, when i get the PMDG 747-400 QUEEN OF THE SKIES II - BASE PACKAGE & Expansion package. How will be fly in the sim? Is this related with FS-X or FS20 or P3D v6 engine? I have PMDG 737 for FS20 and I this aircraft flying perfectly and have no issues. Thanks,
Guten Rutsch!
Hello, I would like to buy p3dv5 to play like you (ultra realistic flight), does the academic license is ok for this utilsation (simulation and fly ONLY) ? thank you in advance

I can’t wait for the 747 in fs2020

Oh wow, nice info! So is that the only gate that can fit the 748?
@@tjpilot5913 as far as I know, yes. My life of spotting and I have never seen a DLH 748 parked anywhere else but Terminal J, J18 only :3

Thanks a lot and happy new year to you as well! Cheers!

Thanks mate, happy new year to you as well.
Love it!
Amazing video and great quality!!😀
One question: how did you manage to get the cockpit so bright when using EA?
Thanks mate, Chaseplane has an option to make everything a bit brighter. That helps a lot with dark cockpits.
Happy New Year 2023 and all the best!

Hey man gret video! What preset are you using for ASCA? Clouds look amazing!
Thanks mate, I haven't changed much in ASCA. I think Envtex changes the clouds to what they look in the video.
how do you configure the engines, I have thrustmaster that has only two engines and Im having issues configuring all 4 engines for the 747.
You can set it up so that one throttle controls all throttles available.
The landing was very much OK, don't worry.
I really need to get on vatsim
how did you get the LVFR kmia to work when i try and land i get a notification that it is taking up too much vram and then my sim crashes
Yes the LVFR sceneries are very heavy on VRAM. You need to reduce texture resolution. That's the only way to avoid it.
which landing software are you using?
Flysim Studios
What do you use for model matching for vatsim for P3DV5?
AIG
what preset do you use for reshade
I don't use reshade
Someone is cleared for Magadan from Frankfurt? Cool...
Had to look up where that is...Never heard of it before :D
P3D + addons is superior to MSFS2020
