I like that it's a great film that doesn't rely on the hero's journey. There are aspects in there if you look hard enough but it isn't really based on that which so so many films do and especially films of that era and genre
Have always loved this film, but I never see reviewers giving props to Robin Wright as Buttercup. She was relatively inexperienced as a film actor and her British accent was spot on. Billy Crystal appeared in a 1975 episode of All in the Family and they became friends instantly. Rob also directed Billy in the wonderful "When Harry Met Sally".
The Masks then and the Masks in 2020 do NOT coincide. 1 covers your identity. The other Limits your breathing. IMO, you can NOT use that as a comparison. And the fact that you do, should make EVERYONE question this post. Just my opinion, you have the right to say it. Even if you are wrong. LOL. But this movie, One of the Best Ever. And who would have thought that a Meathead (think back to Archie Bunker for this one) would be responsible. LOL
Respectfully. It was a joke. And to say that a simple joke should “make EVERYONE question this post” is a bit much. I apologize if I offended you, and I thank you for your politeness in your response and disagreement. I do agree that this is one of the best movies of all time tho.
@@jillyowisp I just didn't take it as a joke. And that is ALL ME. I admit, I am an AXXHOLE. But to me, Capital AXXHOLE is good and lowercase axxhole is bad. I appreciate the reply.
One of the few movies I will watch over and over again.
Yesssss
I hadn’t seen it in far to long
no way someone can watch this movie and NOT like it. Inconceivable!
Absolutely incredible!
It is fantastic! And, also the most quoted film of all time!
“Inconsolable!” No but with all seriousness, absolutely!
@@jillyowisp "You keep using that word. I don't think it means what you think it means." ;)
