Moza is not only a valid player but makes some of the best Sim gear on the market. Quality stuff. I bought my R5 bundle almost 2 years ago and can't praise it enough.
The smelling of the wheel though. lol can say you didn't over talk about the pedals. You hit the review out of the park with perfection. Absolutely thorough and well explained. Appreciate the shout out. And you did great for Moza, as Moza is doing great for their customers!
can you add a extra base to widen the clutch position? I hate how they’re so close together on all the kits. It unrealistic and feels weird for a truck sims. Do you think the r5 is suitable for ATS or just get the r9?
This bundle with smaller diameter wheel and the basic pedals is perfect for those who share the rig with their young kid. I order a rig with seat and pedal slider. I am still trying to figure out a way to adjust the wheel height easily.
Moza si the way to go . They offer so many more accessories and options and they are continuously growing. I also have fanatec gear but I am not investing anymore in their stuff
I plan on starting with the r5 for a base/pedals then eventually upgrading to the r12 and simjack pedals. R12 is way better than the r9 for not so much more cost!
Awesome video bud! I'd be tickled with just the shifter man but hey, I dont make that $3500 a month anymore. Im a poor ol disabled guy nowadays🤣....Great work!!
you put the brake pedal upgrade on wrong the black plastic piece is supposed to house the rubber piece you have to force into place it shouldn't be loose
Excellent. I am just into trucking, not into any racing. Am I missing a lot by having a r5 instead for a r9 with a trucking wheel? I've seen people with r5 say they have to up the forcefedback strenght to 150% in order to compensate for wheel weight.

I guess at the end of the day it's opinion. They send me gear to review and I give my honest opinion it's not any more complicated than that. Opinion always leaves room for disagreement I guess
But to specifically answer your question, having owned thrustmaster and fanatec pedals. The metal construction of these makes them feel sturdy enough to feel above entry level
@@DaSimSimma Yeah they look as well made as the rest of Moza's products, but having only owned logitech pedals I can't see how those would be a step up... At least my true "entry level" pedals don't need an extra mod to get some stiffness and feel in the brake. Thinking about buying this bundle and already dreading the brake more than the logitech. What would you recommend as a step up from these entry level pedals?
@smittywerbss I have the phanitech club sport v3s. Those are in another League. I think they're all milled out of aluminum and or some steel combined. Everything is anodized + there are a million multiple mechanical parts that link everything together. They are absolutely amazing!!!
@@DaSimSimma Just got my R5 a few days ago and I feel I should apologize for my snarky comment. These pedals (with the upgrade kit) are definitely a step up from the logitech pedals I was using before.
ahh yes lets review and buget product and not use the items that come with the bundle. why does it matter that you have a better pedel system your reviewing a product
Don't understand why direct drive wheels still don't come with a real sized 14 inch wheel. These 11 inch things make you feel like you're driving a toy or a go kart at best. Especially in vr the wheel size don't match you're visual which takes away from the immersion

The pedals are made for people sitting at a desk. It would be a lot harder to use loadcell pedals while pulled up to your desk in a gaming chair.

Great video pushing me to upgrade to moza as my logitech g29 is hanging it still works well but its hanging man
😂😂😂 just do it the R5 bundle is at 450 right now the cheapest I’ve seen it and u get the motor base steering wheel pedal and table mount
that wheel looks scrumptious 👌👌
I wanna switch to moza instead of my logitech but I have to get a cockpit, my desk wont let my logitech clamp right lol

Should i get this and then upgrade to the r9 in a few years or should i get the fanatec csl dd with the extra 8nm power cable?

yes sir
Hi, if it's not too much trouble, what settings did you use for the moza R5 in the game and in the pithouse?
Can you tell me where you got your button boxes and what kind of cockpit set up you have

Great review bro.
Stalk ?
And do you have Bass Shakers ?
Ordered and yes ..5 of them
i spent my savings on a full setup...
why are those "clearly a step up" from entry level pedals? they're clearly just entry level pedals
