Yo EpicEnchants! As a minecraft modpack veteran like you are I have an improvement to your design. My setup is pretty similar to yours but when it comes to compacting ores - don't use crafters. Instead use sophisticated storages 'compactor upgrade'. It does the same job but instant(basically infinite compacting speed), without power and has more configuration slots (you only need one "crafter" inventory). Hope this helps and as always: thanks for the great video :)
@@EpicEnchants you need to set it to "compact anything" as the default is to only compact uncraftable. BTW, this also works for diamond and emerald essences as they use a 3x3 crafting recipe
@@EpicEnchants Yeah I couldn't figure it out in recent modpacks I've played, but I wanted to used for ATM9-TTS. Its a bit tricky to set up but it produced several million ores for me so I'd say it works fine ^^
A few tips to imporve this setup in the future that I noticed: 1. Instead of using a diamond cobble gen you can use a gold or maybe even iron. A gold can keep up with three flux hammers, with netherite upgrades, with no wasted work ticks, while yes you hammer less per work tick that way you'll also use less power. The hammers use power based on blacks processed, with a full inventory using the entire power buffer. Unless you already have a very robust power system set up this means you'll be wasting work ticks while it gets power. 2. Bulk haunting sand from create is faster than producing witch water for creating soul sand as it can be done a stack at a time, and it can be entirely powered with a single small water wheel as fan speed only controls range of the fan and not processing time. 3. In general flux network points are a better power transfer option as they can be configured with exactly how much power is need per machine and are renamable for easier management from the controller 4. Meshes can be enchanted with fortune to increase drop rates. a basic set up can get you fortune 3 and with a higher tier apotheosis you can get up to fortune 7 5. The flux compactor works better than the rftools crafter. While it's not as fast as the crafter a single crafter can do all the chunks without any additional setup beyond routing the items properly, which can be easily done with pipez since you're already using the diamond upgrade. 6. The chest filter isn't necessary in the sieve sorting since you're already using a netherite pipe upgrade. You can just black list the chunks on that pipe 7. The whole sorting from the sieves can honestly be vastly simplified. A single item pipe with a netherite upgrade set to nearest first. Then have your main storage closest for everything (an entangled block set to a drawer controller for a central storage system works great here) and the flux compactor at the end for the chunks. You just have to ensure that where you're putting everything else can't accept chunks, part of why I like the drawer controller method since you can just not have drawers for the chunks. But they can also be black listed from basically any storage setup 8. A magnet upgrade in the chest for raw materials eliminates the need for the item collector, and the advanced magnet upgrade also has a filter 9. Instead of dropping using modular routers just use botania open crates, cheaper and easier. 10. A mekanism ultimate smelting factory can smelt more than the netherite furnace 11. There's really no reason to leave the dusts as the recopies that need them are usually crafting alloy blends, something that wouldn't be needed once you're at this point as there are much better ways to make alloys. 12. Using laser io is redundent as xnet can do everything you're setting up with it and you're already using it for the ore crushing
2:30 you can place the flux hammers and sieves any way you want as you can select the output side by sneak-right-clicking that side with an ex deorum hammer
Avoid ender gates as they cause ticking entity lag , so use cables more than gates Use create bulk haunting setup for soul sand And use sophisticated storage compacting upgrade for chunks , it is faster and store a lot of items
it's way more efficient to use a mekanism crusher to make gravel and sand as you can directly use compacted recipes - e.g. 2x cobble -> 2x gravel -> 2x sand. you can in theory also use 3x, but then you'll need to use the 2x2 limited barred from sophisticated with a compression upgrade. also there should be a filter module option that makes the crafter only accept items in recipes it has stored inside
This is some good stuff. I started playing ATM9 TTS recently after years of not playing modded, and was confused about a lot of stuff and had forgotten a lot of stuff as well. I have a basic beginner's setup going, but I can use this to expand it all. Like, I was not aware of the void upgrades and modular routers at all. They're really useful.

To make ores by compacting the chunks, a good alternative is to advanced compaction upgrade, sophisticated storage, it carries out the process directly inside the chest. Worked very well for me.
Good tutorial and an amazing job as always for the hardwork. There are some things that might make the build more faster/efficient. 1. You can get more soul sand faster by haunting the sand instead of using witch water. (Place a depot at say y=1 with y=0 being the floor, break 4 blocks around the depot [y=0] and place soul sand there, place 4 encased fans [at y=1] facing towards the depot a block behind the soul sand, break a block [y=0] behind each encased fan and the block to the right of it, place a water source at each of the right block and place a water wheel from create at each encased fan. Shift right click a smart chute at the depot and place a storage access point [from functional storage] above it, connect the sand drawer for witch water and the storage access point to a standalone drawer controller and you can transfer sand from the drawer to the access point wirelessly [you may have to break and place the chute again so it updates] and light the soul sand with flint n steel, there you have faster soul sand.) 2. For storing the ingots, compacting drawers are better since there would be already available nugget and block form of the ingots for easier autocrafting. 3. If you don't use the magma block for the deepslate igneous extruder, it will produce cobbled deepslate, which can also be converted to crushed deepslate for sifting, making blackstone sifting not a requirement for deepslate sifting. 4. Sophisticated backpack with auto compacting is a fast way to convert chunks to ore as stated in another comment from @araeosthepaladin so better to use it since it also provides extra backlog storage, just make sure to have a slot for each chunk and ore saved in memory incase the backpack fills up. Edit: Summarizing another useful comment I saw here from @jonasgajdosikas1125. - Send all the cobblestone into a sophisticated backpack with an auto compacting upgrade in it to convert the cobblestone to 1x cobblestone and then to 2x cobblestone and then crush to a 2x gravel them via a mekanism crusher and then send it to another crusher for 2x sand and same for 2x dust, uncraft them [I don't know if sophisticated backpack can uncraft but if it doesn't then use a rftools crafter] for faster generation for gravel, sand and dust. -And don't forget to enchant your sieves! :)
@@clytemnestra7489 I meant that for deepslate sifting, you don't need to first sift Blackstone, Blackstone does need to be shifted but not a requirement for deepslate

Another option is to use a breaker module in the modular router that places the block. You can enchant the pickaxe used to create the breaker module but I think we're at the Fortune 3 vs Fortune 13 discussion again. You'll also need a sender module with a /raw/ regex filter for when the router ends up with the raw ore in the buffer.
Just a side note. You can change the output side of flux hammer and sieve with a hammer. Shift right click or something similar and it will show blue rectangle to indicate which side is outputting. This was tremendous help when I designed my setup.

Hey, Love your tutorials and built pretty much all of them in my own playthroughs by now. Something i struggle with, which i would be very happy if you could make a video about is how to get a good automated power setup in TTS.
This is good for early game, but to be honest you don't really need the ore doubling once you enter mid to late game. My setup for the sieve was a row of Sophisticated barrel, with sieve on top of them and hammer on top of the sieve, you can change the output side of electtic hammer with the hammer from the same mode. All sieved output goes to their respective barrels and pulled out from the controller to a cache barrel with compacting upgrade that only compact exhilo mod items. This cache barrel will hold the blackstone and deepslate as some sieve will produce those pebbles, so void upgrade is needed for those. I have one pipe that will pulled all ores block to an unobranium furnace/rainbow furnace and smelt them directly, and another pipe to pull items that are not smeltable into a ender chest, the output of the furnace goes to this ender chest as well. With the highest upgrade and max enchant on the sieve, a single pipe could not even manage the transfer as there are so many item flooding in. Btw, I'm using MA essence to create soul sand, nether rack and end stone . Black stone and deepslate are pretty much recycled from the pebbles generated from sieve
32:35 a small correction here, you need sulfur crushed to make sulfuric acid, and you don't want to crush all your fluorite because you need some uncrushed fluorite to make hydrofluoric acid, so split the fluorite like he shows at 35:00 Although, I would leave that crushing to machines since it's a 1:1 and let the marid crushers crush raw ores for profit.
If u play on Public Servers (normally they slow down somethings for performance), use Containment Jars for the Crusher (xNet Connector on Top of Jar) and don’t use LaserIO use xNet for Smelting Input also and Pipes with Netherite Upgrade for Output
You can also use other mods' crushers (eyes aimed at the Thermal pulverizer), they are a fair bit cheaper in terms of iron, but work slower without upgrades.
Hey, I am having issues with the ore wall. My placer modules all are set to front but a 2x3 section of the wall just wont place anything, I've looked over this for 2 hours at least and cannot get them to place, any reason they would be doing this? The other section 3x3 of the wall works just fine but this 2x3 is acting different with the exact same setup.
Insted of the mycelium and witch water you could just use create to haunt the sand (a fan and a soul campfire). This way, you can convert stack of sand at a time
This is a really good setup and a really good tutorial the only different I would personally make is for each resource being created headstone Netherrack everything I would have it going into a storage before continuing on that way I can attach refined storage to each one of those and have access to any of them at all times that's just my personal little touch also I haven't seen the rest of your videos but you're using a lot of powah components I have found a way using xnet to fully automate everything you can create in the energizing orb
Finally!!!! It took me 3 days to complete this setup as I kept having to start on different mods just to get the items you were using. I had to start from scratch to get allthemodium, then from scratch with apotheosis and its different enchanting, first time ever doing occultism as well. For the dead logs for occultism I thought I needed an item from botania so I did that as well😅 Regardless, this tutorial has been a huge help, and I thank you very much 🙏
How do you get the Integrated Dynamics player interactor (for the pickaxe) to work in another direction? Rotating the build by 90 degrees causes the pickaxe to break into the routers and the chest that contains the pickaxe.
yes, from what I've tested it's only breaking correctly if the direction is facing north/south, it's messing up when its facing east/west. However, I've found much easier (and cheaper) to use 2 RFTools Builders, one for placing and the other with furtune mining.
IMPORTANT!!! The 5x3 of the pickaxe will always mine in in a West/East orientation. If you start building mind the orientation otherwise you have to build the whole thing from the beginning
you dont have to build anything from the beginning. if you built in the wrong direction, just make your mining setup face north/south. edit you comment to avoid spreading false info
So, why didn't you just have the furnace auto output into the drawer controller for the ingots (which for the ingots, I personally would use compacting drawers)? Also, you can auto-compact the ores with the Sophisticated Storage advanced compactor upgrade (you have to set it to compact all, as by default it only compacts items that can be uncrafted, and you may want to filter certain items, like netherwart, so that they don't get compacted)
@@EpicEnchants it is! I was using mechanism enrichment factories but even at the highest tier, speed upgrades and 4 stacked together they couldnt keep up at all with the amount of resources I was generating
Even though this is really impressive, I think im gonna just focus on figuring out ore doubling with mekanism. (although i might use that hammer setup...) Question for you though, what setup are you using to power all that?
Nice build. I have a couple of minor issues I've encountered. The Player Simulator seems like it stopped breaking blocks. I'm not sure what is going on with that. The one that is really got me perplexed though is on the Dust storage. The drawer in the 4th position to the right in the top row does not seem to process. I've unlinked and relinked all of my drawers. If I swap that drawer to another position, those ores do process. It just seems that in that one spot, the drawer doesn't process.
Hey great video! However, I m having problems with player simulator and 5x3 pickaxe. When I break the blocks myself everything works as it is intended to. However after putting the pick into the simulator it breaks a line in front rather than horizontally. I checked the setting tried to play around the working sides but still nothing
did you find a work around? I ended up just making more player simulators and putting them on all the blocks it works fine maybe a bit slower but you need a pick axe without the 5x3.
Awesome video first off, I love how it includes so many different mods. My only question, which is a problem I'm dealing with now. Is that if you connect the controllers to RS then instead of voiding in the drawers all the excess will just be sent to the storage disks, thus filling them up. Ive changed priority and played around with how and where the connection is made but it always just goes into RS. What's your fix.
Short question how to use the third eye to get otherworld wood? I’ve used it in body or what it’s called and used a oak sapling in spitfire to transform it but it’s just a oak tree
11:22 Hello, I'm having trouble with the ATM9 modpack. I've added all the required mods, but the igneous extruder is not giving me netherrack. Can you please help me with this issue? Thank you.
Just built this set up. For some reason the last few drawers in my ore dust don't ever end up smelting (Copper/Draconic/Nickel); they just build up instead... I went back over and made sure I followed the steps for the LaserIO configuration, all the dusts are there. For some reason it just skips over my last three drawers of dust but smelts everything else. Double checked the drawers are all linked the the storage controller. Any ideas on what I could check?
I dont know why, but my Modular Routers just wont place any blocks. I did everything like you did, i played an hour around with them, but i cant fix it. Do you have any clue why?
I'm having trouble breaking the ores down to raw it's like the player simulator is breaking it in the wrong direction I have everything you did exactly in the video and it's not working The player simulator is breaking it in the wrong way and I don't know what to do like breaking it in the straight line instead of the whole wall
That's true I considered thst but I tried to limit myself to the generic mods like exdeorum ^^ Mystical agriculture also can easily make tons of soulsand:D
with mystical agriculture you have to set up autocrafting for soul sand but by bulk haunting i used immersive's dropper conveyor belt and a water wheel but yeah you're set up is great would have done it no doubt great vid keep up the work❤
You put some extra pipe above uncovered mycelium, and tell us it's to prevent mushrooms from growing there because that is something we don't want. Why not? What's the harm in mushrooms being in those spots?
Mushrooms can spread into other areas (not just the mycelium). It's possible he didn't want to have to keep clearing them up. Also, I don't know if they grow full size automatically in this pack or can with 'twerk'. The last thing you want is to be shifting when a giant mushroom grows nearby and deletes some of your blocks - mushrooms can even delete things they shouldn't be able to. Better safe than sorry. 😅
Thank you for your video. Built it in my world just have a little problem with the player simulator. Maybe some solutions here for my problem? It seems like the player simulator uses the pickaxe like he is watching north the whole time, in my construction he is actually facing west. Because of this he is breaking a row 3x5 because he thinks he has to break towards north. Are there some solutions for this problem?
i made mech squeezer because i was afraid the placer/clicker will destroy my frames (like the AE2 planes). but now they cant keep up with all the ores that are coming in x_X. i also dont have indestructible pick yet. also why not use containment char for crushers?
I'm curious if this setup will produce high amounts of lag to a multiplayer server. The one I'm playing atm, it's kinda lagy and we usually around 20-25 players at best. Heard lots of different options on what to use and what not to.
I've been having this issue with mekanism's qio dashboard. I have about 4 million items and 2k types. Whenever I open the dashboard it lags my game a lot. I go from 150 fps down to 17. Would you know any fix?
Do you know why when i use the integrated dynamics my pickaxe would mine my routers, but when i change it to different direction (from east to south) everything started working just fine? And when i hade a raw_material filter on my chest id did not work and i had to use it without the filter?
does the player simulator only work if its facing north? in my world I have it facing west and it keeps trying to break the 5x3 area in front and behind it including the chest, the modular routers, and the pipes. If at all possible, how do I change it to break the blocks to the left and right of it (west to south). I tried going into the part settings and changing "target side" to all the directions and it didn't change anything.
idk if there's a fix to this but i just rotated the block breaking section to face the other way. if someone knows a way to fix this still leave the comment please.
@@janziegler3783what setting should I look for? I enabled trust fake players because I was having issues with blocks not being able to place blocks. but they can place and break just fine it just breaks the blocks north to south instead of west to east.

Hey, Love your tutorials and built pretty much all of them in my own playthroughs by now. Something i struggle with, which i would be very happy if you could make a video about is how to get a good automated power setup in TTS.
Holy shit…this set up is so much better than my spaghetti pipeline. Thank you for showing this imma copy this right away.

amazing! built this in my world and it works perfectly. cant thank you enough for the hard work in making this!! new sub right here
thank you for considering my suggestion of TTS content!!!! love it!
Hahaha I enjoyed it lot in my private playtime so I HAD to make a video!
Great thst you like it ^^
This is good for early game, but to be honest you don't really need the ore doubling once you enter mid to late game.
That's true, especially for the MA Essence crafting, however I wanted to keep it as generic as possible to limit the different mods ^^
This guy does not miss, 10/10 video
Bro, you should use the Security Update. It’s the solution to the problem.
this build uses A LOT of power
YEESSS the logistic tier list is finally happening thank you SOOOO much❤
you can use mekanism's ore factory set up its in the mekanism quests it gives you 5 ingots from one ore!
Love this setup. Definitely doing something like this.
You can use hammer to chage the dirrection of output for flux hammer and sieve
I personally prefer haunting for soul sand production :)
50:28
In that case you want to add blasting upgrade to the furnace
Finally!!!! It took me 3 days to complete this setup as I kept having to start on different mods just to get the items you were using.
I had to start from scratch to get allthemodium, then from scratch with apotheosis and its different enchanting, first time ever doing occultism as well.
For the dead logs for occultism I thought I needed an item from botania so I did that as well😅
Regardless, this tutorial has been a huge help, and I thank you very much 🙏
I would love to see a Speedrun video for fastest start to reach this point.
by the time you can do this, you don't need this.
Still, looks nice and good ideas for anyone that needs ideas.
Very nice setup!
How do you get the Integrated Dynamics player interactor (for the pickaxe) to work in another direction? Rotating the build by 90 degrees causes the pickaxe to break into the routers and the chest that contains the pickaxe.
i wonder as well as i have the same issue and i cant find a solution either
I'm having the same problem 29:37
Same here been trying for hours
yes, from what I've tested it's only breaking correctly if the direction is facing north/south, it's messing up when its facing east/west. However, I've found much easier (and cheaper) to use 2 RFTools Builders, one for placing and the other with furtune mining.
It can be a team isue. Alow some modes. (pres M) go to teams. Properties.
This video has the most “actually” in whole UA-cam
Would you be able to make either in parts or as a whole, a building gadgets template or a create schematic of this setup so its easier to setup?
could we get a video explaining the power generation you have going on for the set up?
I really need to use Modular Routers rather than the simpler but oh so much more messy Pipez.
Is there a reason why the modular routers do not place the block in front of them even when the placer modules are set to front?
IMPORTANT!!! The 5x3 of the pickaxe will always mine in in a West/East orientation. If you start building mind the orientation otherwise you have to build the whole thing from the beginning
you dont have to build anything from the beginning. if you built in the wrong direction, just make your mining setup face north/south. edit you comment to avoid spreading false info
Btw the max fortune is lvl 14 and not 13, he had a fortune 7 book when max is 8
So, why didn't you just have the furnace auto output into the drawer controller for the ingots (which for the ingots, I personally would use compacting drawers)?
Also, you can auto-compact the ores with the Sophisticated Storage advanced compactor upgrade (you have to set it to compact all, as by default it only compacts items that can be uncrafted, and you may want to filter certain items, like netherwart, so that they don't get compacted)
damn i didnt think of using a pickaxe to mine all the ores down, brilliant
Yeah a 5x5 like that is awesome:D
@@EpicEnchants it is! I was using mechanism enrichment factories but even at the highest tier, speed upgrades and 4 stacked together they couldnt keep up at all with the amount of resources I was generating
oh btw, you can use sophisticated storage upgrades to compact the ores down as well as void extra stuff, removing the need for crafters :3
Even though this is really impressive, I think im gonna just focus on figuring out ore doubling with mekanism. (although i might use that hammer setup...)
Question for you though, what setup are you using to power all that?
That's s good question. I'm still working what are like the early, mid and end game power generators.
Incredible stuff
I just used modular router with fortune 7 and this is enough so that the netherite furnace smelt speed is too low
Can be a chunk isue. I had it to and moved 2 blocks. Al in the same chunk.
Good video, ty!
you can make it even more compact with super factory manager
Hey great video! However, I m having problems with player simulator and 5x3 pickaxe. When I break the blocks myself everything works as it is intended to. However after putting the pick into the simulator it breaks a line in front rather than horizontally. I checked the setting tried to play around the working sides but still nothing
did you find a work around? I ended up just making more player simulators and putting them on all the blocks it works fine maybe a bit slower but you need a pick axe without the 5x3.
Can you do a guide on the enchanting in this modpack as well cuz i've been wanting to get some high level fortune book too
Awesome video first off, I love how it includes so many different mods.
Thank you.
masterclass!
Is it possible to do it without Occultist? I've struggled to be able to do anything with it every time I have used the mod for anything
The goat is back
Now if I could only get the player simulator + pickaxe to NOT break blocks in a straight line instead of doing the wall. Otherwise real solid video.
Use raw block for cruhser(9 times faster)
You are so right! Great tip I will make pinned comment soon to add your suggestions and other ^^
I dont know why, but my Modular Routers just wont place any blocks. I did everything like you did, i played an hour around with them, but i cant fix it. Do you have any clue why?
me too 😢
Do you have the area claimed?
@@FloridaEvoX yes I had, fixed it myself, thank you.
@@FloridaEvoX ihave unclaim and it's work
I'm having trouble breaking the ores down to raw it's like the player simulator is breaking it in the wrong direction I have everything you did exactly in the video and it's not working The player simulator is breaking it in the wrong way and I don't know what to do like breaking it in the straight line instead of the whole wall
did u ever find a fix?
is the ultimate smelting factory from mekanism with speed upgrades faster than the netherite furnace ?
is netherite furnace better than maxed out jumbo furnaces?
You can use bulk haunting for the soul sand
That's true I considered thst but I tried to limit myself to the generic mods like exdeorum ^^
Mystical agriculture also can easily make tons of soulsand:D
with mystical agriculture you have to set up autocrafting for soul sand but by bulk haunting i used immersive's dropper conveyor belt and a water wheel but yeah you're set up is great would have done it no doubt great vid keep up the work❤
Can you please make a best gear (Weapons, Tools, Armor) For to the sky? Or is it just unobtainum or something?
Aint it better to put the max fortune possible and put auto smelt on the pick ?
My modular routers Arent placing anything what did i do wrong ? Couleur it be the Version of the modpack?
if you have claimed chunks. Go to Team - Settings . Allow all Fake Players "True"
I'm too bad at Mekanism, or IC2, is making machine with Create will bad?
Thank you for your video. Built it in my world just have a little problem with the player simulator. Maybe some solutions here for my problem? It seems like the player simulator uses the pickaxe like he is watching north the whole time, in my construction he is actually facing west. Because of this he is breaking a row 3x5 because he thinks he has to break towards north. Are there some solutions for this problem?
i made mech squeezer because i was afraid the placer/clicker will destroy my frames (like the AE2 planes). but now they cant keep up with all the ores that are coming in x_X. i also dont have indestructible pick yet. also why not use containment char for crushers?
hi. i have an issue with the player simulator. it will only work in the north/south direction? any tips on what it can be. great setup:)
love your video so much
I'm curious if this setup will produce high amounts of lag to a multiplayer server. The one I'm playing atm, it's kinda lagy and we usually around 20-25 players at best. Heard lots of different options on what to use and what not to.
can u maybe make a video on a power setup for atm9 to the sky?
when the next "i ranked...." video gonna come out?
I've been having this issue with mekanism's qio dashboard. I have about 4 million items and 2k types. Whenever I open the dashboard it lags my game a lot. I go from 150 fps down to 17. Would you know any fix?
Cant we just add the upgrade to automatically do the 2x2 recipe and skip the crafter part?
at 17:50 why use the crafters for making the ore when sophisticated storage has a compacting upgrade to do it automatically?
Do you know why when i use the integrated dynamics my pickaxe would mine my routers, but when i change it to different direction (from east to south) everything started working just fine? And when i hade a raw_material filter on my chest id did not work and i had to use it without the filter?
Got a slight problem about your apotheosis farm 9 months ago, the salvager gets clogged up by shield wnd tridents whicg can't be salvaged any tips?
does the player simulator only work if its facing north? in my world I have it facing west and it keeps trying to break the 5x3 area in front and behind it including the chest, the modular routers, and the pipes. If at all possible, how do I change it to break the blocks to the left and right of it (west to south). I tried going into the part settings and changing "target side" to all the directions and it didn't change anything.
having the same issue
Having a similar issue was well.
idk if there's a fix to this but i just rotated the block breaking section to face the other way. if someone knows a way to fix this still leave the comment please.
check your chunk protection in the map
@@janziegler3783what setting should I look for? I enabled trust fake players because I was having issues with blocks not being able to place blocks. but they can place and break just fine it just breaks the blocks north to south instead of west to east.
Hi, seeing ur video i do it on my map but the auto hammer won't put directely in the drawer do u know why ?
hi! may i know what shader are you using?
Do you have any other channel as well?
What are you using for power?
Powah
one problem about the mining the ore with the pickaxe that it gets unload whenever i get back in my world so do u have a fix for that ?
