Big B ruined her life because of his selfishness and double face living, she accepted and bare all the pain he gave to her, and she took it just to let him live a happy life. She is still waiting, maybe one day she hopes. But on the other hand, he is a mean and very shroud guy. If you listen to her BBC interview when she was singing a Gazal, I really felt it. Everyone in this story is so nice. Rekha is a wonderful woman. She had to act since the age of 3 to support her family. Her dad had left her mom for another woman. She’s had a very tough life. Loved Amitabh, couldn’t stay with him. Married once or twice, lost husband/husbands, that too to suicide. She had to bear the brunt. The fact that she still gives hints of being in love with him and didn’t remarry, speaks volumes about her true love for Amit. On the other hand, Jaya did what a strong woman should’ve to protect her marriage and family. She is such a strong woman. It’s tragic. Love can happen outside marriage. There’s nothing right or wrong about it. What happens ultimately is probably fate. I think we don’t need to judge people for how they feel, because we’re not in their shoes.
Factual errors
Rekha’s mom was a small time actress. Her dad was a big hero of olden days. He was a married man when they met. He had already married Bopji and there was as affair with Savithri. Savithri was too young to marry and she wouldnt permit her dad to meet the first wife, neither was she old enough to satisfy her lover. In the meantime Gemini married Rekha’s mom. They had two children. She was not faithful to Gemini like the first two. When Gemini came to know this, he stopped funding for them. Rekha inherits her beauty , sense of responsibility, intelligence and good nature from her father. All those people esp her dad such wise and naturally good people who are deeply attached to each other .

Since divorce wasn't legal back then, she couldn't get legal separation from her husband to marry Ganeshan. It was necessary for the woman to be single to marry. A man could marry any number of women. But it is said that they took the wedding vows at Tirupati. You are right. Rekha has inherited her father's beauty and intelligence. You would notice her mother was pretty too, though. As for the sequence of women in Ganeshan's life, it is Bobji, Pushpavalli and then Savithri as far as I know. I am not aware of Pushpavalli's affairs with other men. But Ganeshan did not acknowledge paternity of Rekha and Radha for a very long time. So Rekha hasn't spent her childhood with her dad, neither did he support her and Radha's upbringing financially. We don't know the reasons. Rekha is admirable! Amazing to see how she groomed herself and stood like a rock despite all the hardships!

A very rich and respectable man. Gemini got his permission to marry Pushpavalli because that so called "husband" was in no mood to support her. Yes, I heard that Pushapvalli was second. Savithri's marriage was also secret for a long time. Pushpa and Savithri didn't get wind of each other for a long time. However, Pushpa was contented with whatever she was- an admirer of Gemini. She never asked for status as a wife, never wanted to bother him with cares of the family. But she slept around after the two kids too and Gemini closed that chapter when he learnt about it.

In the Era of being modernized, we are forgetting what love really means!!
People are not supporting Big B and Rekha's relationship. They are supporting Rekha's love because just look at her, neither did she get married nor does she have any grudges for Amitabh and his wife. She talks really good about Amitabh. Today, it's hard to find such people because mostly people want attention for attention. If any one person in the relationship denies it, the other person becomes the "Jaani Dushman" of the other lol.
I don't know what love really means but surely what Rekha has in her heart is definitely pure.

But to be frank, she seems so pure and selfless that to me and the audience it seems that she is not responsible for falling in love with Amitabh Ji. I personally have never been in love ig so I won't be able to make definite comments on that. But for now, after knowing about Rekha's love story, it seems that that mushy pure and true love does exist. Where two people are meant to fall in love irrespective of what the practical situations are.
I know it feels so wrong practically especially if one of the partners is married but I have started believing in it LOL.
