Diljit seems like such a genuine and generous person. While a lot of actors pretend to be kind and grounded but come off as fake, Diljit truly never let fame change him. Also now I understand why Neeru is called the queen just look at her! She’s a diva in the best way, with the way she speaks, laughs, and carries herself.
I am listening Neeru Bajwa first time. And it feels like that there are two person speaking English and Punjabi. How good she is with both the accents.
She was born in canada bro which is why she has canadian accent. Her parents are from punjab so she speaks fluent punjabi as well
That's just how Canadian brought ups are. I had a canadian born punjabi classmate when I had just moved to canada. When he spoke punjabi, he spoke so theth that you wouldn't be able to guess if he spoke even a word of English. When he spoke English, you wouldn't be able to tell if he knew any punjabi word at all. Neeru here is not even close to him lol.

That's why their earnings must be 99% taxed as they cash in public hype about them unfairly n get super rich wrongly by fooling indjan people n taking them for a ride n taking advantage of their emotions by cashing the hype. Hope you can see through this game n get the point. They are only to make money poured by the brands all bcoz of this buzz n hype created around them by this naive Indian sentimental public. So hope Indian people are smart enough n not follow everyone blindly unless it's a hritik, fardeen , neil etc who deserve it.

I really like Neeru and Diljit for speaking Punjabi in this high profile show and I like Neeru for working at this age and not letting age affect her work despite marriage and motherhood.

Came in out of Diljit's love and became a major Neeru stan! I used to love this girl in her TV and music video days, recently realized she's such a superstar in Punjabi now (I am a maharashtrian so not much into Punjabi movies). She comes across as a very positive, down to earth person who has done a lot to be where she is! This was a supremely fabulous episode thanks to both of them!

Neeru bajwa speaks very good punjabi. Since she was born n brought up in canada she speaks in English. U can check her interviews on channels of punjabi youtubers she has spoken punjabi.

Yes punjabi n sindi r indeed sister languages( someone in comments rightly said) so is dogri etc.
Some Common words in sindi n punjabi
Mee(Rain), Vas (Settles), Visār (Forget), Thulli (Fat), Challi / Charri (Crazy), Beli (Friend), Veri (Enemy), Khund (Sugar), Asān / Asi (Us), Puttar / Dhi (Son / Daughter), etc, etc.
Punjabi and Sindhi also both tend to use the shorter vowel when a longer vowel is used Hindi/Urdu. For example: Kaan is Kan, Haath is Hath, Aadhaa is Adh, Neend is Nind, Mooch is Much. They both also retain the older use of the V instead of the of the B. “Beech” is “Vich”, “Bichara” is “Vichara”, “Baj” is “Vaj”, “Bas” is “Vas” and so on.

If you wanna see the similarities between these languages, take saraiki as an example. It literally is a mixture of punjabi and sindhi.
