The EU is out of control. But, one thing that Apple should do if they’re forced to allow side-loading is to void all warranty if something goes wrong. How many times have we loaded some thing on our PCs when we had those and it messed the system up. So, Apple can allow it, but, they can say if you do it no more warranty we’re not responsible because they aren’t.

I’m rocking a Philips 42” 1080p tv from 2008. (It was $800 back then.) but it’s got crazy contrast ratio like 200,000:1…but it’s headphone jack and power port are starting to fail, so I’m looking for a replacement.
iPhone plus is for power users who don’t need the cameras. My friend is a title agent and she is one her phone, making calls, reviewing docs and multitasking all day. She loves that big ass battery and extra screen! I think similar on the go people can use an iPad Air Big Big.
Furniture is so expensive because all the trees have been burned in the past three years. There is not even morning wood any longer. And sleeping on foam, pffff, get yourself a good pocket coil with a foam cover, nice and thicc that is what I like. It needs to cradle me and make me feel like it is hugging me.
I’m still rocking my 2014 MacBook Pro with an Intel i5 (only for super light work), for everything else I use my PC. Now that Apple finally released a Space Black MacBook Pro, I’m probably going to make the switch and get a M3 Max. There’s a bunch of stuff that I do on my PC that it can be done in the new Apple Silicon on the go, this is going to be the perfect time for a new Mac

Awesome show guys ….i do agree with Jon a stick would be cool ..i currently have my appleTV stuck on the back of my TV with 3M Velcro stick tabs works great hides cords as an aside a lot of those preloaded apps on the TV’s don’t work as good as AppleTV does.
They might be going bigger with iPads because people use them as cheaper portable external displays, and considering in ios17 they’ve just added the ability to stream AV through usbc with an adapter, might pave the way for it to be an inbuilt feature down the line.
The 12.9 iPad Air is to get rid of all the parts and get the most of the tooling spent on the iPad Pro until they have have 13 i{ad Pro components ready at volume at an afordable price point.

I’m interested in apples implementation of side loading if nothing else. If I was them I’d pull any and all back door system calls they use for their apps even if it makes the stock apps worse just to prevent malware. I also wonder if they can charge to turn it on to make up for lost services revenue. Everyone talked about them pulling out of the eu, but what if eu iPhones double in price and everyone else gets an expensive option to turn on side loading. I think they could justify that a part of the price of the phone takes App Store revenue into account and come up with a pretty high number. Which if you can’t go closed ecosystem to subsidize a device, how is ad supported still allowed. Kindles should have to pull the ad supported one. And now I’m just rambling
I got the 12.9 iPad Pro for drawing, if there had been a cheaper larger size that was compatible with the good pencil, I would have gotten that at the time. But I literally only use it for drawing. Anything else i do, I just do on my computer.
I think apple are gonna get serious about the Apple TV as a game console, they commissioned the next sonic game to be an exclusive on arcade and it looks great. First big apple exclusive big name 3d platformer. Sonic has been making a comeback recently, sonic frontiers sold 4 million copies and so getting that deal must’ve been pricey.
Once your laptop has a touchscreen you won’t go back. I commonly touch my MacBook Air laptop and get pissed off each time. It is what prevented me from getting into the Apple world years ago until the M1 pushed me over the line.
Yo Sam I sell TV’s. A95L is definitely the way to go if you have the budget for it, alternatively c3/a80L are great mid range options, Sony being better for movies, lg better for sport and games
Man it's so sad to not see an XL iMac coming out. At work we have Late 2015 27inch's and we have been holding out for an new XL iMac to come out ever since the M1 was announced. The price difference between an iMac and Mac mini/studio + apple display is ridiculous so I guess it will be a smaller iMac for us 😕
@@pattycookie2011 that's an option we tried on the Mac studio we have at the firm. It was a pain to get it set up and still has some funny behaviors. The it department doesn't want the cumbersome process for multiple desktops.
THis is sort of like what Canon did with their cameras adn I havn't upgraded from my LS1 because f their actions. I'm prbabl;y going to get an iPhone 16 instead.
I think if Apple is going to come out with touch-based Macs, they will need to rebuild from the foundation up. One core operating system that can mutate and adapt based on the device being used from Mac all the way down to Apple Watch. The groundwork for this has already been taking place, but this would be the perfect time to go all in on it if those Macs are coming. An AppleOS.
I think the problem with TVs is that the garbage software they put on them is outdated in two years. Why can't they just make a really good looking dumb TV? the software on my 2023 LG TV is slow and clunky. That's why I just use an Apple TV.
Looks like Apple might be doing a slow cancellation of the iMac. They may update just the processor once more from the M5 without changing anything else. Then when M7 comes out, they just kill off the exact same exterior that they landed the M1 with.
Don’t you think sales are down (in more than Mac category) because people are tired of Apple’s intolerably unethical practice of not allowing repairs of devices they own, as opposed to just apple silicon being really good?
Imagine If Apple came out with the new iPhone and said he we aren’t updating for a couple years or so. If any company can do it, it’s Apple. I know that doesn’t make business sense. I get the business aspect. But imagine if that becomes a thing.
