Not the first time I've ever seen a defensive tool being used on offense.
Meanwhile, every defensiv tool gets nerfed, hurting every one who uses them the intended way.
There's no way the devs didn't see this coming. They definitely knew it would be used for harassment
You can see the rus techs and the amount of gold in bank. Early wheelbarrow and 150g so thats a total of 200g in fauna gold
here's something i just thought of. you make a militia and send it to kill the boar for the bounty and you can just gather it without risking your villagers
they've been using it already.
MrMerlin recently said the same thing in his Rus PUP video
but then youve spend 100 food on just killing a boar and not forcing idle time. I mean you can do it if you pass by one, but that should definitely not be their only usage
@@TevionErazer spend 100 food to secure a safe boar is not a bad trade imo.. once the boar dies u can also create some idle time of course ... who would kill a boar and let militia for another 40 seconds iddle?
@@nationarmy2514 safe boar - meaning, that your villagers dont die? Because you can easily micro a bit and take back the one thats being attacked, thats not super difficult, not worth 100 food.
Or meaning that enemies cant attack it? Because the militia will only defend it for 90 seconds.
If you use 50 of the 90 seconds to kill the boar somewhere on the edge of the map, then thats too much already imo. Maybe use 10, while passing a boar on the way.
Rus scouts should have to drop off the bounty at the hunting cabin, would give some fun counterplay rather than just killing the hunt

Militia is the worst addition to the game ever...
I have a better idea for the Kremlin. It should work like a "mini TC". Produces a FREE villager every 40 (or less?) seconds (and of course, still work as a tower too, with that wood bonus thing).

Having any kind of background in RTS is going to help, but you do for sure need to be aware of civs, know hows and counter to specific units, how to build economy fast and what civs prefer what kind of early economy

Hey bro that ain't a Kremlin rush. There at least needs to be SOME granularity. It's a militia rush.
Kremlin rush would need to be early and close to the enemy. It's like calling a defensive BBQ, a BBQ rush 😂
Don't need second scout anymore because if you kill 1 deer camp and 3 wolves they already lose second teer bounty bonus.
Killing three wolves alone is a lot of "idle time" on your scout that could be spent looking for sheep
2 fuedal militia v 1 boar, who wins? Maybe a good way to get 225 gold

Not really siege destroys malians. Beasty was castle that whole game SAS didn't have a chance to get his castle upgrades

Please, no! If it spawns from Kremlin will be ultra overpowered. You would build Kremlin in the enemy base and kill a lot of villagers / cause iddle time...
These map spamming walls are toxic AF. Look forward to the day when they're finally nerfed enough that players only wall important areas by the mid game, instead of the entire map
there r maps that can be walled easier and some harder
And non stop raiding with suicide units isn't as toxic? Walls aren't that hard to break.
what.. its like saying china was lame for building the great wall of china IRL. get rekt just because you have 0 map presence so enemy can wall entire map with slow ass stone walls for 10 minutes. this map is important to wall aswell, its how you secure resources.
