    • @Chris24_
      @Chris24_ 4 місяці тому +1

      @@halfcutonion6342 sometimes you can tell, sometimes it’s difficult. A strong V shape is usually a mature hairline that will stay like that for some time, others can have the M shape and also stay like that for years or it can continue to progress. The general way to tell is to look for miniaturization (the area looking thin and sparse along with the receding hairline) also if constant hair excessive shed happens, that’s usually a sign it’s progressing, if you aren’t really seeing this, this is good indicator that it’s just a mature hairline/NW 2 that won’t progress significantly for a while.

    The older you get, the better a receding hair line looks. Having a straight NW 1 in your 40s and 50s looks very unnatural for most people. That is why it is important when getting a transplant, to design the hair line higher and with some recession. Do not go for a youthful look, because as you age, it will look weird and throw your whole look off.

    • @user1111AB
      @user1111AB Рік тому +6

      no it only looks weird when the doctor doesn´t place enough fine hairs at the front

    • @tcity6334
      @tcity6334 Рік тому +3

      @@user1111AB IMO, it does look weird for most people, because, rarely do men have NW 1 hairlines past, let us say 40. Most experience some recession with time. So, since we notice patterns, things that do not look regular catch our eye. For some it may look Okay, but if a person is losing hair, its better to have a NW 2/3 hairline transplant and focus on density, rather than a NW 1 hairline, because if someone has androgenic alopecia, even on finasteride, they will still likely lose hair with time, because finasteride only stops around 60% of DHT in the scalp, and some people are super sensitive to it. Plus, even if you stop DHT fully, other androgens will miniturize hairs. Thus, it is best to focus on density and a natural look that will be age-appropriate in time, than going for a NW 1 hairline. Everyone should think long term.

    Even with hair transplant and minoxidil you'll have to maintain it. Even if you have the $$$ it is a tedious process. And you'll never get that long growing hair back in your hairline. There will be a few baby hair but that's as far as you can go if you are not a big responder for minoxidil.

    Matt, "thinning hair" is not correct in my view...if you remain density and only your hairline moves up, this is not really thinning. Thinning is diffusual hairloss, like Mel gibson or costner (before his transplant) or Timothy Dalton and all the 5 of your vid, besides skarsgard and a bit 'Loki' have natural density in the rest of their hair... That is Supercool.... Its not the corners themselves which is not cool it's the sureness that this will go on and on and on and so on :) .... So if you have a dense head of hair and you 'only' have corners, it is way easier - mentally - to not hide them, the opposite is the case, it's cool..... For me that is also a problem in the mentality of especially the turkish hair clinics - all in all there is way to much focus on a good looking, dense hairline and not what's behind, and not so visible from front... Can compare it to mtv's ' pimp my ride' , where they made the Car Look awesome from the outside and the cams, but in substance they were still old with the old engine and stuff..
    . Even the DHI- offers of the most clinics are no real DHI offers.... DHI is there only used in the first 2 centimeters, but not to increase density behind which would be the far better choice, caused by the way smaller choi PEN-incissions. Reason is density is not so visible on the first Look and the Internet 'before and after' - pics.
    What I want to say is - in the end it's the density that counts for a good impression not a low hairline, look at Harry Styles and people and clinics and even the hairloss channels like yours shouldnt be that "obsessed" with the hairline and pay more attention to the density factor.
    IT would be Supercool if you would make a whole Video about clinics who are masters of density like Dr. Couto or even a whole guide about that....perhaps showing some clinics who do real good density work but arent that expensive... I would buy that immideatly... That were my thoughts on the matter
    .Thanx for your work matt

    The problem with pulling back hair is you are making yourself go bald faster as you'll keep adjusting them again and again and pulling them back again and again. These celebs have money and people to maintain whatever hair they have on their heads. We cannot do things as they do on a daily basis. Also, all of them are people with flat foreheads and this won't suit to guys like me who have forehead temples. Also, these all are aged more and if you do these kind of hairstyles in your teens or twenties, you tend to look older than you are.

The fact that some don't even dye their hair speak volumes as to them knowing there's more to life.

    All of these guys have a great head of hair. You don't need a perfectly flat hairline to have a good looking head of hair. The slightly recessed "mature" look is very attractive. Given their age and balding pattern, I'd guess they're on finasteride to hold onto what they've got but don't feel the need to have a perfect hairline.

    What they do is trim off and then shave all the receiding hairs along them crown and temples and go all the way back to where the hair is at it's thickest. Bigger forehead and less hair on the sides but it gives off a much better, sharper, fuller look than having all that bunched up thinning hair all around your hairline and trying to comb over, around it, trying to hide it all. Screw all that. Just trim and shave it all off and rock the bigger forehead with fuller looking hairline and temples. And you can also start growing bangs again by starting a custom made hairline with the full thicker hair.
