This man is far more knowledgeable than my physician! After getting a CGM I am able to reduce my Metformin and improve my metabolic health. Foods I thought was diabetic friendly wasn’t. I so appreciate stumbling upon this channel. He has done more to my health than any doctor I’ve ever been to. He needs a bigger platform than social media. He needs to write a book!

I went from A1C 7.1 to A1C 5.3 in 80 days. Low carb/high fiber diet + exercise + intermittent fasting = excellent metabolic health. Berberine and apple cider vinegar are also helpful.

I've just found your channel and am also in the process of lowering blood sugar. I've been diagnosed as pre-diabetic and am using a CGM. My doctor gave me 6 months to decrease my numbers and I have made fantastic progress so far. Your channel has so much information and I appreciate all your work and sharing your results.

Really enjoy your short videos showing the impact of different foods on your blood sugar, thanks for that.
Lately there's been a lot of talk on how eating fiber first before eating any carbs reduces your blood sugar spikes.
Would be great to prove this either right or wrong.
Maybe test a small portion of pasta without associating any fiber with it. Then test the same weight of pasta but have a measured portion of veges or salad prior but still in the same meal and then measure the difference in blood sugar levels.
That would be a great test.
    Thanks again.

Thank you, your channels have really helped me a lot. following a strict diet and intermittent fasting of 16:8 has helped me. I was diagnosed with pre-diabetes. my HBA1C was 2 points away from full-blown diabetes (46). but within 3 months my HBA1C went down to normal (39). I was so happy with myself and now I maintain my diet while still doing intermittent fasting. thank you for all your help, I learned how to eat my meals, eating my fiber, protein, and healthy fats first before carbohydrates was really helpful. am happy am no longer bothered about my blood sugar but now just maintain my healthy diet.

Just to help out anyone, that is looking for reversal. In 2021, I had an A1C of 13.8. Within 6 months, I got it down to the 5s. I did not take a single medication. I do take supplements.
Most times, I do one meal a day. I hardly eat out. I have a feast once a day. I wear Continuous Glucose Monitor any time I can. Each time you wear one, you learn something new.
I was not big but I have lost a lot of weight. I look younger and have great energy. I struggle a bit with sleep still but I am taking some supplements, that are helping with sleep.

I would love to see a test with just brown rice and beans no added protein or vegetables. Small amount of fat and any seasoning you like as in chili, garelic, onion powder etc. I'm curious how much the fiber will counter act the effect of the starches on your blood sugar. I am borderline pre diabetic and dietitians push grains. Also lentils and quinoa, tofu?

Deal with it constantly. The only thing that helps is: not eating after 6, fasting and not rushing in the morning. You can wake up at 5am with 75 and within an hour youll be 130 or 150 without food..... cortisol (stress hormone) decreases glycogen synthesis and you need more insulin
You can also produce cortisol when over exercising, cgm is revolutionary for diabetics
