Like the new hair style man! You look like a British rocker! This is a super nice Casio but you are right. Its not available anywhere. The con sucks for you guys but for us larger dudes this works well! 24mm is an odd size though. I think this is more of a cool watch than an elegant watch at this size! Have a great weekend man!
It really looks like they did not check for wearability at all, it's not enough to look nice. Btw. I have one 24mm Nato lying around which is even of good quality. But before the strap arrived I had already sold my only matching watch, an Armand Nicolet which was uncomfortable for me to wear, so I thought the strap could help. Now I am stuck with this strap. I even looked for suitable watches, but I will need to pass on this Casio because of my 6.5 in wrist and because the strap is orange...
The size, the proportions, the mineral crystal, I agree it’s such a shame because this style design with a moon phase complication has such potential. I’m a fan of Casio but I’m in agreement with you. They blew it with this one!
So, the BIG problem is that it isn't custom fitted to your below average wrist size? How dare a watch company make a watch the would suit average and above average wrist sizes?
That's the problem. This watch wouldn't suit average sized wrists. It likely wouldn't suit above average wrists either. A 24mm lug width is just ugly. Not to mention it's near impossible to source straps for too. I don't know a single enthusiast who would be pleased with a 24mm lug width. That's the problem.
But it doesn't fit average wrist sizes? The Cartier Tank Large, which is meant for average and above average wrists, is around the size of the Samda Tank watch that can be seen in this video. At these dimensions, the Casio is only wearable on gigantic wrists. 8 inches is not the average wrist size.
It would look stupid on my thin wrist so a good shout there. Also, I wish Casio would spend a bit more time on the bracelet. I realise it is the place they save money but they are shite. It adds money to your final purchase having to source a new bracelet or strap to replace it. My wrist is a bit bigger than Keiron's at 6 and three quarter inches but anything really big just looks like a dinner plate on my wrist. With a square or rectangle it would look like a mobile phone. I would go with a mesh/milanese bracelet on this. They breathe really well in the summer. I also found canvas straps to be really comfy all year around.
Yeah that watch looks a bit chunky. Just order a Benjamin James Micro band in Dark Blue dial with quartz. Can get it with a mechanical movement, but cost goes up more.
Do you have any recommendations for a Tank-style with a moon phase? Ideally a budget one, but I'm not too concerned about that- I'll end up w the Sanda for now anyway LOL
@@TopTierTicker It looks good! I'm a gentleman w long hair, so I always encourage other gentlemen to play around with their hair. Keep growing it a little and it'll look more voluminous. :)
Wears like a mobile phone had me rolling. Great review. This design is not exactly my cup of tea, but I agree with your points. Many* Casios and Citizens have a size issue. A 40mm Duro would sell like hot cakes and it baffles me they don't do it. Some Edifices as well, cool design but they are just too big.
It's huge!! Way too big, 24mm lug width? What the.......!!?? I agree Kieron, it could have been really good. Shame. Cheers for another great video mate 👍
WOW! That thing is a chunky beast! It looks like you are wearing a Galaxy S24 on your wrist! Who is it for? The Mountain and Shaq? That's a very small market. Casio needs to stop making watches these big.
45 lug to lug and 24 mm band size is definitely not "tiny". Especially for a dress watch. Even for larger wrists, a watch that size will look garishly big.

The big problem is that it's too big and he starts talking about it at 5:30
Thanks for this. I can skip the word vomit in the first 5mins then.
Unfortunately, it looks like some fake watch from AliExpress.
Or from a Chinatown suitcase sale

I wish they had used the sweeping quartz movement. And a touch smaller. If Casio nailed it, they could charge $150 or more for it.

Bonus point for anyone who puts a Panarai strap on this. I love this watch!
Another great review Kieron. Definitely a swing and miss by Casio on this one. They had an opportunity and pissed it away. Keep up the great work.

24mm isn't that hard to find. Just limited selections

Great review of a superb Casio tank.... For me id never be taking the Bracelet of this piece....Did not even know this piece Existed !!!
Are there any good solar moon phase or tank options?

Trying to look it up on the online store where I buy my casios and it's not there😢
Whoa...didnt expect the sanda to make a guest appearance! I have that one and love it!
I agree it''s just a bit too chunky and clunky. The other Casio and the Sanda are much more elegant.
Do you have any recommendations for a Tank-style with a moon phase? Ideally a budget one, but I'm not too concerned about that- I'll end up w the Sanda for now anyway LOL
Could you review the new citizen tsuno chronograph I think it’s a reissue of the challenge timer
I got the silver dial. Really nice but it’s too massive for my wrist
I find this beautiful Casio available from all the online retailers here in India. The biggest reason it’s not popular is probably its $90 price tag!
I guess homage sounds a lot better than rip-off. The great Chinese homage..😊
I have it's all black version, it's matchless
It's nice. But I can't find it available either.
Check online data for average wrist sizes!
WTF does Casio insist on '50 m water resist' and some such on dress watches.
You didn’t get to the point until 5:30, this is a 5 minute infomercial with 3 minutes of actual commentary tacked on
It's called a review my dude. I'm not going to criticise the watch for 8 minutes straight.
doesn't do much for me
Wear's like a mobile phone 😂
Kieron with new hair!
Indeed! What do you think? Had my last cut for almost 8 years, trying something new
@@TopTierTicker It looks good! I'm a gentleman w long hair, so I always encourage other gentlemen to play around with their hair. Keep growing it a little and it'll look more voluminous. :)
Does it wear like G-shock?
keep reviewing watches that are not on the hype train!
I DONT THINK THE WATCH IS THAT BIG I AM A SMALL GUY WITH A 6 INCH WRIST CASIO ALWAYS DOES A GREAT JOB WITH ALL THEY WATCHES AWESOME VIDEO THANKS

Casio can do no wrong in my book, but I won't be buying this watch. Not my style.
too big for me
I don’t like it.
It's huge!! Way too big, 24mm lug width? What the.......!!??
I agree Kieron, it could have been really good. Shame.
Cheers for another great video mate 👍
tank XL is 41mm and this one is bloody 45mm lol.
that's XXL
6:29 - A watch with inch-wide lugs?? On a tank??

They need to make a G-Shock version of this.
it's sooo big. (that's what SHE said!)
Would definitely have been great at half the size. Guess it's aimed at Americans.
Toobig toobig toobig and clunky
wearing a 24mm leather strap must be so chunky to look at :))
I'm yet to actually experience a 24mm leather strap... I'm not sure I actually want to either 🤣
Its a tiny watch, probably NOT designed for a small childs wrist.

@@anujbajracharya55 Its definitely a tiny watch. Any watch under 40mm is small.
It's like a cow that gives the most milk but then poops in the bucket. Beautiful watch, but as big as a riot shield. Shame.
fool of a casio
It doesn't have your amazing haircut?
