Funny you posted this. Have a customer wanting the same light and glock but with threaded barrel, rmr and a hood for a 2 piece owb. Wondering if I should do .093 considering he said it need to take some abuse

Another great video! When you dremel inside the light bezel do you make it completely flush and even with the kydex around the bezel, or do you leave any lip around the edge from the kydex forming around and in front of where the light bezel ends? In other words if the rest of the holster didn't stop the forward movement of the weapon back into the holster, would there be a small lip that could stop the light from going past the end of the kydex, or do you keep it basically an open ended tube so the light could keep moving forward if it wasn't stopped by the rest of the holster? Sorry about the novel, I'm just trying to explain this in a way that hopefully can be understood. I'm not saying you couldn't understand it, I just wanted to make sure I was communicating it properly. Thanks again for all you do! I'm finishing the shell you made me out of the .125 basketweave for the Sig XFive Legion w/TLR1-HL and blocking for the Safariland mid-drop and level 2 retention hood. I cut the end flush with the bezel of the light, just wanted to make sure how much I dremel out of the inside of the cylinder where the light bezel will go. I don't have the steel or mold or light to do fitting, that's why I needed the shell, and thanks again for the shell, it looks amazing for being .125! Also should I use the basketweave I have here to make a plate to go between the hood holes and mid-drop holes to add extra support for when using the hood? It's really hard to actuate the hood so I shaved a lil off the part that locks it in to make it easier to use, but still keep it safe, but it's still a lil hard to release, so I was wondering if a plate would help. I only have .080 basketweave, so should I just use plain black .080 for the plate since the basketweave is really only about .060? Again, sorry for the novel, I just want this to come out as good as possible. ✌️♥️☺️
As long as the light doesn't protrude out of the holster. You are good

Amazing how you know where to get them retention points. You say that you remove the battery but should I worry about the ones that are rechargeable
Some flashlights are powerful enough to burn through the kydex in a press. All the rechargeable I have are not charged for that reason. Best to use a dead unit. Or just make sure it doesn't turn on inside
