Hi i have a question, you filming with a BMPCC 6K right? i thinkyou filming in 6K, my question is how your record 6K footgae to a monitor that only alow 4K HDMI Input, or is it dosent matter if its 4K input?
Hey Jordan, I’m looking for a wireless director’s monitor so I can sit back and watch instead of getting in my camera man’s space during filming. Any recommendations?
Hello, thanks for the great video. I'm also a big fan of Portkeys. I have a question to you. It is reported that the 6K and an external monitor can now lead to a defect on the HDMI port. The reason should be the dtab connection, which is not shielded. May I ask how do you power your setup? When wiring, is there a certain sequence that you follow?
Hello! I use a d-tap directly from my v-mount battery and had to buy portkeys’ power cable separately, and that power comes from the power plate. So far I have not had any issues with my setup! If you’d like to see the gear I use, it’s listed in the video description!
Just got a BMPCC 6K pro my self. I really love this videos you do on the BMPCC and all of it's peripherals. Thanks.
Ordered the Andy Cine c6 but maybe I should consider the Portkeys. Thanks for the video.

No the dimensions for the monitor do not matter since I’m not recording to the monitor.
just to make sure, that andycine monitor is a rebranded feelword lut6 right?
Why not use the atomos battery eliminator? I prefer it as I don't like the idea of exposed battery contacts.
Can this be used with the Shinobi to run power from a V-Mount battery? I’m new this this, and that’s the only thing holding me back on the Shinobi

I would check out the new Atomos Shogun Connect!
hello and thanks for this content. Would it be possible to have a link of the Portkeys LH7P monitor power cable, I can't find it. Thank you
Any reason you didn’t try smallhd?
No particular reason, these were just the ones that I received for free from the manufacturers.
What do you think of Feelworld Lut7s pro with bmpcc 6k ?
Because I want a 7" monitor.
Yeah I think the feelworld would be my second choice, definitely a great monitor!

@@jordanvp Would it be possible to connect the monitor to electricity via a vmount battery via a Dtap splitter? Or would that be too dangerous?
I think that would be a bit risky. I’m not 100% positive that it wouldn’t work but I personally wouldn’t take the risk.

@@jordanvp thx bro
Does the Andycine play 4K 60?
It doesn’t unfortunately, only 1080.
@@jordanvp Any idea which ones play 4K 60?
I don’t know if any budget-friendly ones that actually do 4K…they’ll all accept a 4K signal even a 6K signal.
@@imageryweddingfilms2134 u can set up output 1080 60fps and shoot in 4k 60fps. It should work.
which is better, PortKeys PT5 or FeelWorld F570?
Definitely the portkeys!
That PT5 is only 500 nits. My first field monitor was 500 nits. It was completely useless outside and I returned it the first day I used it.
if that portkeys monitor is wireless, why do you (and everyone else on youtube) have an HDMI going into it? seems not-so-wireless to me
It’s wireless control, not wireless image transmission.
