Trust me this works like magic for hair growth, to get dark and shiny hair, to get volume, to grow edges and it smells nice too ( I don’t know if that’s even necessary to say haha).

    • @raya4721
      @raya4721 3 роки тому +29

      @@Nico.Robin7 ok so am not sure what type of hair texture you have but the way our family used the oil was we would apply and leave it on over night before wash day ( we also mixed it with coconut oil and sometimes shae moisture). After it has been in the hair for over night we wash it out and again we would use the oil and braid the hair with the oil and just leave it like that until the next wash day (which was and still is ever Saturday. There is no real reason why I still wash my hair only on Saturdays but I just got use to the habit of doing it like that lol). The trick really is to braid your hair and leave it in a protective style and hopefully you will see a major growth no doubt. In my family it has always been important and a tradition to braid hair after washing it and due to this my hair is healthy and protected of any breakage. Although I have been lazy lately which I have noticed my hair breaking but we r human and it’s sometimes hard to keep on top of everything, so I will try to get back on my old routine again.

    Hello! An Indian here. Glad people from other places are discovering these ayurvedic herbs. Amla or Indian Gooseberry is definitely a powerful herb for hair growth. This particular Dabur Amla hair oil has mineral oil which is supposedly not good for your hair in the long run. You can make your own Amla oil by infusing Amla in any carrier oil you like (coconut oil, olive oil, etc.) Hope you have a great day!! :)

      Question. Do you think that Indian women have long, thick, and beautiful hair and it grows that long due to genetics? Do you think the oil has anything to do with growing you all's hair?

    • @rajeshwarikamath961
      @rajeshwarikamath961 3 роки тому +16

      @@Bv3276 Having really long tail bone length hair or extremely thick hair is more or less genetics. But these hair oils or ayurvedic herbs help us retain hair length, reduce hair loss/shedding (which makes hair appear thicker.) Indians have been using these chemical-free hair masks and hair care routines which helps strengthen existing hair and reduce shedding. These oils and herbs might not grow new hair follicles, but can definitely help the health of the existing ones.
      I would not recommend using Dabur Amla Hair oil, because it has mineral oil and other chemicals, but I would totally recommend buying Ayurvedic herbs/ powders like Amla powder, Bhringaraj, Brahmi, Henna and try to include them in your hair care routine.
      Hope this answer helps!😊

      All oils are hydrophobic, that’s where they don’t mix in water. Use oils before V you wash, the oil will wash out with soap/shampoo because soap/shampoo is designed to remove oil. Or you can use it to finish your “LOC” or “LCO” process after the Liquid and cream in order to lock moisture in. Btw, I bought this same oil long ago and could not stand the pungent smell...another turn off was the use of mineral oil...wish they had used avocado oil, hemp oil or safflower my hair likes those oils..I guess my hair is 3c? if you watched Colombian soccer, I have Valderrama hair! I bought this for myself about a month ago. I do like the moisturizing effect that it has when I apply it to my damp braids and let it air-dry. However, my teenage daughter seems to have discovered the bottle and has hijacked it from me.🙄
    My 4B 4C hair has had positive effects, but her 3C hair really soaks it up. Surprisingly it makes her here nice and shiny and manageable. It usually tangles quite a bit, but it seems to keep her hair manageable and tangle-free. Looks like I'll have to buy another bottle for myself to see if I can get some of that darkening effect that long term use claims.

    I have 4c hair and certain oils work better for me than others! I have tried a mixture of unrefined coconut oil and Jamaican black castor oil as a preepoo hot oil treatment! Argan is a good oil for hair and scalp oiling! Right now I'm starting Haitian Black castor oil as a every other day hair and scalp oil because I heard it's the best! I might try amla oil later!
