But a lot of these people who work so hard to enable us, musicians, to be on stage have had problems finding new jobs and without these hard-working people, we cannot make our dreams come true. So the least we can do to honor these good workers is to write a song in homage to them. A happy uplifting song with Irish influences about hoping things will get back to normal, a melodic uptempo heavy metal song with an important message. "
I’ve been following Tommy since whenever it was him and Pellek did the original (non animated) “nothing but metal” song. He’s a fucking beast. Love Sabaton too !
It had me at the toms... :D I'm definitely going to check out more. I also agree that especially during the pandemic, I've seen metal bands, crew and fans band together in a way I haven't seen so much elsewhere. Bands like LOTL giving their profits to their tour crew who have basically been unemployed for 2 years, auctioning off gear for charity and hanging out with fans on Twitch etc.
I'm very impressed with Tommy and his vocal ranges, that includes his guitar riffs. I'm growing in favor ... he needs to put together a best of pot luck album, his in so many projects that it's insane.

Thank you for this!
l love this song! I think you asked for this: Tommy is in Sabaton since 2016, the Bassist called Chris David.

i love this song, it is so upbeat considering i listen to mostly thrash so yeah, plus i enjoyed chris davids vocal part after the first chorus

Sabaton and Apocalyptica Angel's Calling might be a good tune to check out (my personal favorite from Sabaton).
If you want to see more Tommy & your not opposed to faith based metal music try Golden Resurrection .
I always want to see more Tommy! Cheers
Is it Joakim from Sabaton who steers the boat in the beginning?
Sure does look like him.
