I just put those same Toyo tires on my ‘24 OBW. I went with the SL rated, 2 ply but I was wondering if going to the D1 with more plies would give better rock protection or would it just make for a stiffer ride? Your car looks great! I love the gold tires. I need to get bottom protection too, but which ones is the question. I don’t want to take away from the existing ground clearance nor make it more difficult to work on. I probably won’t be doing my own repair work so I think of the shop mechanics too.
@@jimbrown7261 I think you’ll like the all around performance of the tire. There is always a give and take with tires. Less rotational force with the heavy (stronger) sidewall and gas mileage will probably take a hit too. I don’t think it’ll be a huge difference on ride stiffness though. For skid plates I’m leaning towards Asfir. They have great ventilation and doesn’t look hard to install. The design allows you to do oil changes without taking off the skid plate. I know ground clearance would be lower, but I’d rather hit the skid plate than the oil pan haha.
Thanks! I’d say the wilderness is a better ride off road and on road. The lower gearing really feels great. Having a spotter will definitely help you get comfortable and stay safe when off-roading
what a beauty 👌
Thanks for this! I'm hoping to beef up my 23 crosstrek and take it to HF soon. This is a confidence booster!
I took my car stock here as well so you can still check this place out
Damn, you have all the mods I want!
The car has been great with all these modifications so far. I’d recommend these products to anyone

@@Dailyfox5.0 I hadn't looked into that brand. Thanks for the tip!
Just got a 24 Crosstrek wilderness. How do you think it will do? Any tips? Super nice car bro!
