Unreal! This tank is a dream. So funny because I have a 75” TV so I know how massive that is and I did not realize yours was a 75”. So glad you pointed that out. Really gives a scale to the whole thing. Hahaha. What a beast unit!

Really appreciate you sharing this experience with us here! I remember getting my first custom ordered and built reef tank and then it sat there for almost 6 months while I figured out how to get the rest of it up and running. Love your enthusiasm, can’t wait to share the experience as you go forward.
Absolutely beautiful. I didn’t know they made custom tanks. They have the Promax systems now but they don’t appear to have euro bracing. Even the 7 footer. This looks amazing. And the bracing will give me peace of mind!
I just got my 150 gallon aquarium Dream tank. The boys carried it down start . Loaded it in my truck. And my sister and I unloaded it very short move but man it very heavy.
Oh my Gosh!!! 😍 That tank is giving me...'I want One' vibes. Won't happen. I can hardly handle resetting up my nanos. Oh well, when I get to the promised land..lol Enjoy!
Congrats. The tank looks great. Honestly I do not think i have seen a box that looks as good. It is so clean. If I could do a build it would be almost exactly that. What is funny is I said that a couple years ago about your old build. We just have similar taste I guess. Great job.
Parkers Reef As always mate My tank was a year in the making so i understand ur pain and joy all in one Theres nothing better when a plan comes together 🤙🏻 🤪
What did you use for the leveling mat on that tank? I just got a similar aluminum stand for a 150ga tank and Im unsure what to use for the top of the stand where the tank will sit on.
You said you put tabs in the polystyrene under the tank, won't that create pressure points for the tank? I could be wrong but it's such a beautiful tank I couldn't help but ask
Tabs on the ends of the frame, like a book end. Helped keep poly in place, then once tank was on place o just unbolted them off the side of the frame :)
Beautiful tank!!!, I'm curious about the plumbing, what will.you be doing to.prevent water back flowing into the sump? Are you just using drilled holes for a siphon breaknor are you using check valves and if so which type?
This tank looks a lot like mine but with some details that I would love to have here haha. Mine is only 188 x 91 x 78 cm (dimensions were in inches haha) So first I would love it to be a bit longer and maybe even wider. Second the white bottom, here it's black, not my preference, I got this tank in an opportunity, not my choice. And last but not least lol, I have holes in the bottom for a tower kind of overflow, but I really want a ghost overflow box just like you. Yeah, still looks very similar maybe bc of the one-piece euro bracing. cool. looking to see what you do bc I will take a little longer to set this baby up lol.
Saw a comment on WB channel about your new tank. Poster suggested the tank placement was an afterthought. I'm sure that's not the case. Lol. Can you tell us how you chose the placement for the new tank?
hehe yeah, the tank is in the best position to clear the curtains on the other side (and still give enough access to get in beside the tank). This does bring me out fairly close to the hallway door, but that is why I went 210cm not 7 foot :)
Amazing tank Sam, freight must have cost a small furtune. May I ask what is the width of the eurobracing, I am currently building a tank of similar size and am curious.
Hey Parker. Love the tank. Plan to copy a lot of your idea but on a much smaller scale. I’m hoping you are seeing these comments in 2024 and can help me, specifically with the shadow overflow. Do you have any issue accessing your overflow lid, being that it’s under your eurobrace? Wasn’t sure if the placement makes it difficult to remove the weir cover ? Also, with the hole placement for the synergy shadow overflow, did waterbox already know the hole placement or did you have to provide that to them? Also, I may have missed it, but what is your tank sitting on that is white between your tank bottom and aluminum stand? Apologies for the questions, I just want to make sure I get my build right. Thanks my friend, and love your vids.
You bet I still see the comments, I endeavour to answer every comment on my videos, regardless of how old! Ok so I had to provide waterbox with the dimensions for the shadow, which you can get from the shadow website. I made it so I can remove the cover, yet I haven’t needed to yet. That gave me the protection for the tank, but also a nice clean/hardwearing/glossy finish to work with beneath the tank. Hope that helps!
@@ParkersReef for the black tinted back glass, was there any specific name you had to provide?the person I’m working with was not sure that was offered but said she would check. And one other thing about the shadow…when measuring/ laying out the hole placement, since you have the eurobrace, does the bottom of the euro brace in essence become the top of the tank (for measuring purposes of the shadow, or did they still measure down from the top to start drilling? I’ve seen a guy online who’s selling his unused waterbox because his holes are too high for the overflow to work properly and last thing I want is to run into that situation! 🙂 Thanks again. Really appreciate the feedback so I get this right.
Sorry I missed this comment! Make sure you account for the eurobrace. If you did get it wrong, don’t sell the tank, have a custom overflow box built in acrylic to make it work :)
1,200 pounds is the weight of the empty glass tank. Me and my then 75 year old cousin moved my 240 gallon acrylic! How much did it cost? Over $10,000 USA? Anyways it is a beautiful aquarium,no tint whatsoever to that glass. What were the dimensions/liters?

Love the tank! I am working on my dream tank now, and I was curious about the stand for this tank. Did you build this one yourself, or was it made for you? It looks awesome, and I assume it could be disassembled if it needed to be. My tank is about 244cm x 122cm x 77cm, so I want to make sure I build the best stand possible for all that weight. Thanks!

Hi mats great Chanel and build, what is the base of the stand made from , that white acrylic looking drip tray ?

Amazing tank. How many litres is it? Also what is that glass it’s made from? Thanks
Hey Dean, it’s about 1450 litres. Glass is 19mm thick ultra low iron :)

Beautiful tank mate!!
Thank you kindly
Mate that is BEAUTIFUL!! The Euro bracing is next level classy. I can’t wait to see more. Ps Go Lakers (being in LA I had to...)

I think it was mentioned in the video, high density polystyrene.
Amazing! Congrats mate - the eurobrace is incredible - want one ;)

Beautiful Sam! Are you going to do a net top, and if so how will you do the Eurobrace corners?
Potentially. Although the brace this size might allow me to not need one

I have a question
Any information about waterbox reef salt
I getting so low info about the salt
Afraid I don’t know anything about their salt :(
I wonder you if can put Caster wheels on that way you can move for cleaning when water levels are low.
After moving my last tank that had been in position for 7 years - i am comfortable with not being able to move this one
Do you regret not getting the larger waterbox 380.7?
No, this was a custom built tank to the exact size I wanted :)
@ParkersReef I'm thinking of getting one of these waterbox tanks. I just don't think I will be able to take it downstairs in my basement
Can you tell us the width dimension of the Euro-bracing...? 5"...?
it's 6 inches :)
Amazing tank build what is the total height of tank and stand together?
Thanks for watching! Total height of tank and stand is: 184cm or 6 foot
Beautiful! How many gallons/Liters is it?
About 380 gallons or 1500 litres :)
Beautiful tank!!!, I'm curious about the plumbing, what will.you be doing to.prevent water back flowing into the sump? Are you just using drilled holes for a siphon breaknor are you using check valves and if so which type?
Using a Synergy reef overflow which has siphon breaks :) Also, siphon breaks in the return lines too

sure thing - will cover in the plumbing vid :)

Great stuff Parker ! Hurry up and plumb it lol
hahaha soon enough!
Eurobrace is pretty wide. Will that not obstruct a lot of light?
yeah at 150mm wide the euro is a decent width. I don't suspect it will obstruct light though - time will tell!

It's a BIGGUN 😁😁😁
