I saw a good tip over at the Flite Test guys that helped me alot. They took the piece of masking and "rubbed" it over your sweather or pants. By doing that the maskingtape etc looses some of it's adhesive😉 you will have to test it to know how much or little it's enough👌 keep up the great work Martin!
¡Hola Martín! Really nice work! Congratulations!!! One help... what is the kind of paint did you use? Airbrush... to fix it on foam... dis you use something special? Thanks....
Or plan 'E', use regular roll printer paper with a light spritz of repositionable spray adhesive (like post-it note adhesive) - then cut that in the vinyl cutter or laser, works a treat for these PITA jobs where the paint keeps lifting :-))
Martin in case you don't already have a setup for this.. :) t motor f80 pro 2500kv on 6s 1300mah with a 5052 props. Only 1kw but over 270kmh go's measured :) OH well saw the end of the video never mind :D
Brilliant job martin... You have alot of patience with those pins.
Looks great Martin. I really like the weathering as well.
Great save, looks really cool, looking forward to your maiden. 👍🏻
Nice save Martin!!!
Next time try and apply black shading "below" the main paint colors.
It gives a more subtle effect...
That was a good save!
Thanks!
Hey Martin, suggest use LOW TACK painter’s masking tape. That tape looked like regular general purpose masking tape. Too grippy😳
The vinyl is less tack than even the lowest tack masking tape... same issue...

This is special foam so solvent based paint is ok, and painted direct. Any other foam though would normally melt...
From botched to beauty, excellent job!
Thanks!
Good save, looks great.
Thanks! Flys even better than it looks!
Well it took, patience, and time, but sure, that's wot it's all about, turned out awesome, nice one martin
I wonder if there is some sort of release agent on the foam from the manufacturing process. That would prevent the paint from sticking.

Nice work!!!👍👍
Looked kinda cool with the white on grey random pattern too...
If everywhere maybe... 😃
Wow lots of patience Lol!

This is the 3D setup, not so much for speed... thanks for the idea though!

Beautiful work, but....life's too short, just go with Option C....;)
Lok
Stick the vinyl to the table and then peel it off. That should take some of the glue off and make it easier on the paint.
The vinyl is already super low tack and barely stays where it is supposed to... just a bad base coat
Are you going to add canards like on the lizard?
What kit or what components are used in that Vector unit u showed?
Its the stock Multiplex vector unit designed for the Funjet, just swap the half ball-links for normal ball-links, the originals come out sometimes...
Still waiting for that slick
Nice
