I want to dislike it passionately, but I appreciate the disagreement and points made so much.
I personally always hated 5’s but gotta say A Ma Maniere done this Jordan model justice, I’m loving both these and the Dusk colorway. But these are sneaker of the year for me, beautiful shoe, I love how they made the tongue smaller considering that the tongues on Jordan 5’s are normally oversized which is one of the reasons I never cared for 5’s. Great job with this collab!
The quality on these is insane. Feels like you’re wearing a designer shoe. I absolutely love them and agree with Foamer, but I get most people don’t like 5’s. You can’t feel the embroidered insole either, it’s a non-issue.
To be honest this is better than dusk.. other youtubers just saying dusk is better due to its resale price😂

Wore mines today for 8 hours and didn’t feel the stitching on the insoles whatsoever. Nor did it bother me, they were pretty comfortable. So for me it’s a solid 10 out of 10

The hype is with the dusk pair but I much prefer the dawn. It’s more of a complete collaboration imo. You can actually see the 23 , white nubuck(which is rarely used on any JB sneaker) and the colorway in general is different from any AMM black burgundy based sneaker!
I agree on the 23, shouod have been a different color....they should have made that and the nike air on the ass end both white, or like a maroon with a little white outlining like a shadow, like they have on the 23 on the dawns 💯

Both AMM x AJ5s are well executed imo ; especially this Dawn colorway. A very well done collaboration - the more streamlined silhouette (compared to most GR AJ5s) all the details , tweaks and branding. Can't speak to the quality yet but consensus seems to be that is quite good. Its a very well done collab overall ; really what you want to see from a Jordan collab imo. Only thing that holds me back a bit is the degree of aged / yellowing effect ; especially being a bit sick of the aged aesthetic that i never really was a fan of to begin with. But regardless the AMM x AJ5s seem extremely well done overall. Not SotY for me but certainly up there as one of the best Jordan collabs of 2023.

@@tayso5276 thats becoming a real problem with AMM it seems. My AMM 4s were awful with QC as were my AMM 12s ; my white and red / burgundy 12s had color bleeding all over the place. Not sure what's going on but thats not acceptable on premium collabs charging premium prices.
Regardless if was a AMM collab or not I was copping this colorway either way. Glad I got a W on both colors and seemed like everyone won a pair which is great! Just wish they would update me bc I still have no tracking number just the W email 😂

I wasn't sure about this one, but when I got my pair, I was shocked at how good it is in hands!! Like I was like wow tbh!! Definitely, it is at least 9/10 for me
I think these are a super clean and beautifully executed shoe. I'm not sure what it is, but I feel like these aren't very wearable due to the materials they used. I think if these had used a leather like on DJ Khaled 5s they would be a 10/10 for me. I think these are just going to look bad after a few wears. PLEASE DO A LIFE TEST ON THESE!!!
These are absolutely stunning. Abs the black pair are 🔥. Embroidery on the insole as a "con" is hilarious. To each their own. Both colorways are insane. No other collab aside from AMM gives so many details. Buckets is trippin 😂

Yo!! Jordan 5 are my first pair of J’s . I have the original 5 metallic and fire red.. and they are used up like grandma’s slippers. There are straight super dope.. mine are on there way along with the Dusk pair.. I give them a big 10! I do wish the ankle bubble was a little more bubbly.. lol dope anyways..

Bucket’s 1000% right about the embroidery on the insoles, especially since you still cannot feel the air midsoles of the 5’s. They should’ve either painted the Nike “swoosh” Air on the insoles or a stitched patch like on the insoles of the 3’s Elephants.

My first pair of 5s and man I'm excited to get these in. Never really dug the 'puffy' ankle collar and these do it better. Could never justify spending the $800 on the off-whites and I think these are almost as good + I hit for retail. Great review as always boys
I think these will actually even hold up way better over time than the off white joints. All the off white Nikes aren't made to last
Wow foamer really loves the 5s, he also gave the burgundy 5s a perfect score which i prefer more over these. So far in asia only this pair is releasing but i really want the black pair more(black pair reminds me of a used og black metallic 5) so will pass on these white/grey pair and wait for the black pair since i already have the fire reds from 2020.

I love this pair. To keep it simple, it makes wearing aged AJ5’s look good. For me, I like having something where you have to notice the little things that make it stand out. But I’m biased. I love 5’s.

Every time I'm about to hear a review score from Buckets, I'm like here we go... What unrealistic, ultra low score is he going to give today!? I thought maybe a 5 or 6 for these would be a shockingly low score for these, and he dropped a 4... A FOUR. He's too much man. I'm with you though, these just might be a 10/10. I haven't even seen mine yet, they're shipping out today, so I'll wait until I have them in-hand, but I've been eying these since they were announced. So I'm stoked to finally get these in-hand and on feet.

I gotta agree with Buckets… The materials are great, but outside of it being a AMM collab, it’s a AJV with some slight pizzazz. They’re basic looking IMO. Definitely the most lackluster out of the AJ/AMM series so far.

Listen love the honesty from Buckets, but come on my guy, a 4 is completely out of line. I'm not even a huge fan of 5's, but this shoe is unbelievable and def a contender for shoe of the year IMO. Color way is absolute 🔥, the attention to detail and materials are unmatched. But a 4!? 🤦♂️ not even in the same ball park, solid 9 at the very least. Happy Thanksgiving boys! ✊

I'm with Buckets on this one. The details are kinda dope but the colorway is a no way for me. The purposeful yellowing isn't jiving with the blue/gray imo. The burgundy version ain't it for me either. The teeth on the all black was in poor taste with the silver ass tongue and the yellowing lowkey makes em seem like a fake pair of metallics you've had too long.

But c’mon the vintage yellowing on the netting as well as the tongue the two extra laces one beige and one white. The gum rubber with the A on one side and jump man on the other side. The black mud guard and this pale blue shark tooth look and the thinner 3M tongue with one A & other jumpman on it. These are dope sneaker of the year conversation ehhh!
