- We just stayed in the most expensive all-inclusive resort of Punta Cana, this hotel is known nowadays as one of the best in the entire Punta Cana and Bavaro area. What was it like to sleep, eat, hang out and relax at this beautiful and crazy expensive property?
We've been wanting to stay at the Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana for over 2 years, but it was just now that we were finally able to afford it. Join us in our little adventure at the most exclusive all-inclusive resort in Punta Cana.

My husband & I are getting ready to go here for our anniversary in a week. This will be my husband's first time going to the DR, my 2nd time. The first time I went, I stayed at Secrets Cap Cana Punta Cana. We could have stayed there again this trip but I wanted to try a different resort. We narrowed it down to Hyatt, Sanctuary Cap Cana, & Secrets. We went with the middle priced resort. Sanctuary was way cheaper than Hyatt & Secrets. I'm still hoping I made the right decision. The food & service was unbelievable at Secrets. We chose a club level 1 bedroom ocean view master suite, bc it was the highest room option they had available when we booked our trip last minute. I love the DR! Everyone is so nice & it's gorgeous! ❤ Thanks for the video! ❤
I absolutely loved the Hyatt Zilara cap Cana! I was there for Christmas and it was INCREDIBLE
We stayed there a few weeks ago and overall had a great time; posted some details on a goggle review. Tip! You will be remembered AND appreciated. It only takes a few bucks as the exchange rate there is insane. Get club level to get top shelf booze and beer; take your own stogies and pace yourself on the alcohol; food was good-buffet and lobster bake on the lawn the best. Steak was horrible. 😔 Find Mixologist Miguel who makes his own cocktails, none of which were bad!!

Just a quick note that If you're staying with kids at the Ziva, you won't be able to access some parts of the Zilara resort. Kids under 18 cannot go into the Zilara pool and most Zilara side restaurants.

This is a bucket list resort for me. What time of year did you visit? I have done Cancun in the summer where the pools were like bath water and in December where they were chilly. I would love this resort with a refreshing pool.
It is a beautiful property and we had an amazing time ☺️ we were there in March 2024.

When I went with my girlfriend and sister with her husband I got a room with a pool for 400 a day, Hot tub wasn't body temperature when I went last year it was hot, I liked it but my girlfriend didn't 😅, the shower didn't have any issues for me, deja brew can make milkshakes for you, they have haagen dazs strawberry cheesecake which is rare to find l, I love Indian food but it needed more seasonings, the train seat was very nice, secrets cap cana were priced the same as zilara but the experience was 3x worse, I will go back to zilara from La Vega 👍

I have been to the Hyatt Zilara resort every year since 2020, its My favorite resort in DR. I absolutely cant comprehend why you guys ranked Lopesan as number 1. I went two times, one with upscale room with butler service and one in the cheapest room, and both were a disappointment with service, staff, and food.
Lopesan is way overrated, food and service are terrible
Hi mate, is September-October still ok period of time to visit Punta Cana? Being worried about rainy season. Which month would you suggest to visit Punta Cana (Sep/Oct/ Nov)? Thank you in advance
Hi Man, I went in September 2023, was totally fine, no seaweed, and everyday day was sunny with occasional rains 3-4 times for the whole stay

I’ll be staying at the Ziva in two weeks. I’m a bit concerned about the pool temperature you mentioned. Was the waterpark as cold as the pool? Was the Ziva pool as cold as the Zilara pool? I note the Ziva pool has a darker tile, so I’m not sure if this makes a difference.
Hola! It probably wont be as cold as it was when we visited, surprisingly, the waterpark’s water was warmer than the pool 🙂
