Aaahh a new video, I'm so excited! I am a first time traveller and have been researching the Dominican Republic trying to choose where to stay. Your videos have been DELIGHTFUL! (My friends know yall as "my guys." HAHA) You have a talent for videography, narration and featuring a comprehensive *AND FAIR* pros/cons list. Yall are both the cutest and I look forward to seeing more of your adventures.
Hola! Thank you so much for your kind words! =) We're really happy to read this; we decided to start this channel after seeing how daunting it was to pick a Punta Cana resort (there are too many of them!) so we could help travelers pick a good one. Give our best to your friends =) Jhon
I'm so glad to see the grand bavaro princess hits so high on this list! I've been to Punta Cana many times, but have always stayed at princess resorts. My last 2 trips have been at the grand bavaro princess, and I love it there, but I've always wondered about trying a different resort chain just to see if I was missing out on anything. But after seeing all of your reviews so far. I don't feel like I'm missing out on much or anything!
We are currently researching resorts. Both Lopesan and Hard Rock are at the top of our list. Food quality is one of our biggest qualifiers. We will be travelling with 10-15 family members of all ages (24 - 74), possibly including 2 children (2 & 7). We are a cultural family and enjoy lively music and entertainment. However, we are not looking for a full-blown drunken party atmosphere. From all the video reviews I've seen, Lopesan appears empty and a "read a book by the pool" type of resort. Is this true? Or will there be enough activity-wise to keep most of us engaged?
Careful with Lopesan..read reviews carefully. For one thing, beach isn’t private..boats coming and going all day (diesel fumes, noise) plus vendors all over the place
Hi guys, my husband and I are considering coming back to Punta Cana later this year. We noticed really low prices in early October. I’ve read that’s potentially hurricane season and could be very wet. I was just wondering from a locals perspective if it’s still a good time to visit? Thanks!
i've read a lot of reviews, and im seeing mixed thoughts on this resort. if i were to go to punta cana once with my family of four, should i choose lopesan or majestic elegance resort? love the video guys!
Hola Marissa! Thanks for the kind words, we haven't been to Majestic Elegance, but we loved our two stays at the Lopesan Costa Bavaro is on our top 3 for Punta Cana resorts =)
@@daboxer181 i am here now. It’s a really nice resort. But it is huge and does have a lot of kids around. But food is good overall and service is great
Hey, I gotta say, I don't get this video at all. I watched some of your other recent ones, and you gave better-hell, higher-reviews for places like the RUI Palace Macao and Lopesan Punta Cana. So, what gives? Why didn't those make the cut here? I'm trying to figure out the best spot to hit up as a single guy who's pretty laid-back but still wants to make sure the food and the nightly entertainment ROCK. So, how come those resorts, which you clearly liked in your other reviews, didn’t even get a mention in this one? Especially with all the negatives you pointed out on the ones in this video. Could you recommend one or two for me and give a basic break down why you loved those places in your independent reviews but left them out here? Thanks... 😉
I was wondering the exact same thing. I'm a single guy traveler in my 40s. I'm looking for a blend of chill by the pool/read a book/have some drinks and then maybe party a bit if I'm feeling it. It seems like Riu Macao would be a pretty good fit. Hang out there to relax and then pop over to the Riu Party area or nightclub if I'm feeling it. Feels like an ideal compromise, but I don't get why NittyGritty completely dropped that off their list despite a really great review not that long ago.
New sub here! I'm from Argentina and love your reviews! Are you reviewing newly renovated Bahia Principe Luxury Esmeralda? Booked there for august and would love to have the opportunity to see your evaluation.
Hola! It depends on what your looking for, each resort has its own vibe, the Riu Palace is more of a heavy entertainment resort while Sanctuary is more luxurious and peaceful, we prefer Sanctuary because the food, drinks, room, pools are better =)
Hands down Casa de Campo Resort has by far the best food. Idk what the hell he is trying to lie about. Hard Rock has it perks but Food is C+ or a Low B at best.
I’d have to agree been to Hard Rock multiple times and food if anything has gone downhill over the years with Ciao being one of the worst. I guess it really comes down to what your used too I’m Italian and from NY
@darthwolvi7428 One of the best resorts I've been to, their level of service is unmatched, in my opinion. We love Grand Bavaro Princess, such a great resort for an amazing price =)

Was Lopesan on this list? Going in 2 weeks..

I’ve been to Lopesan, your better of going to Hilton La romana, much better resort, I think a lot of UA-camrs get paid to recommend lopesan
Great video❤
I woud rate
#1 Hyatt Zilara
#2 Lopesan
Great list!, do you have any reviews of Majestic Elegance? Or Majestic Colonial?
Thank you! =) We haven't to the Majestic resorts yet but they're definitely on our list =)
So given the choice between the Hyatt and the Hard Rock, you would pick the Hyatt?
Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana is the best all-inclusive resort we've ever been to anywhere.
We loved it!
Thanks! Another fabulous video!!
Glad you liked it! =)
Have you all been to dreams flora? If so, what did you think. We have Paradisus grand Cana and flora booked and need to pick one.
I booked Lopesan for my family arriving next week because of your video series! Great job guys and keep up the great work! Love the videos. 😊
Hi Jason, can you tell me your honest opinion on Lopesan? Considering staying there in July! thanks!
How was it?

Hi!! And Riu Palace? Is bad? O better that Santuary Cap cana?

What about Ocean Blue and Sand Beach Resort? Where does it rank, What is your scale? Please and thank you
Hola! We haven't visited the Ocean Blue & Sand but it's definitely on our list =)
You should try Iberostar Grand Bavaro!
We booked Dreams Flora. What do you think about that place?
We are booked for May :) We've heard great things about it...
Love love the hard rock punta cana
What transfer service you guys recommend?
Check out SERVICIOS TURISTICOS UNIVERSAL or PUNTACANATOURS.COM or TRANSEKUR :)
Thx. But I’m looking for an airport transfer- who do you guys recommend?
Everybody says Royalton Chic is a party hotel... Yet, all the videos I saw on UA-cam so, all the parties are almost empty.
Anything about the sports illustrated resort ??
Please do a review of Serenade resort
Yes, I agree. I would love to see a Serenade review, please :)
has anyone went to the Dream Flora punta cana. Looking to go there end of may start of June?
Hola! We haven't been to yet, but we're already planning our stay at the Dreams Flora, we'll probably visit before July this year =)
The reviews for Hard Rock Puntacana are not great on TripAdvisor
Which resort has the best food?
Overall the Hard Rock Punta Cana 🙂
Hands down Casa de Campo Resort has by far the best food. Idk what the hell he is trying to lie about. Hard Rock has it perks but Food is C+ or a Low B at best.

I saw a review recently about Lopesan and a huge number of people getting food poisoning! Have you heard this?
@user-we2np8pl5h Unfortunately, I have! Aa, I stated earlier for the money, and it's high. Hard Rock is the best I have been to
Why didn’t Excellence Punta Cana make the list?
Hola! We haven’t visited the Excellence resorts yet but they’re definitely on our list to visit soon 🙂
why isn't lopesan there
19:30
Good list, but no Excellence???
I’m thinking of booking at excellence. How is it?
Was thinking the same thing!
@darthwolvi7428 One of the best resorts I've been to, their level of service is unmatched, in my opinion. I would say to go ahead and pay a little extra for the Excellence Club, you'll get your own 24 hour butler, another high end restaurant, and a private section with the best location in the beach.
@@DaSkins212428which one u went to? I’m going to finest!
