We actually stayed in the Zilara and just crossed to the Ziva to film the tour 😊 We'll be doing our review soon and many things can be extrapolated to the Ziva since they're managed the same way and share some amenities. As preview I can say it'll be very close.
Great video. Please tell me this. I have knee issues and going up and down stairs is a problem with me. Does this resort have facilities in place (elevators, ramps, golf carts etc) to help me get everywhere I might want to go? (ie: from room to restaurants, beach, pool etc..) Thanks so much, Steve S.
We actually stayed in the Zilara and just crossed to the Ziva to film the tour :) We did not go to the Blind Butcher but heard great things from a friend that did. We dined in two different specialty restaurants and the review is coming soon 😉
Hi! It's not scored yet as we did not spend the night here but next door at the Hyatt Zilara where we tested many things. That's why we'll only upload the tour for the Ziva right now :)
Please check the website again as we've included the rating for the Zilara and our guess is it would be very similar nittygrittytravelers.com/punta-cana-resort-rankings/
I have been there. Its nice. Food is better than most DR resorts. Beach is Ok. Pools are nice but nothing special. Drinks are well made. Service is mostly good. Rooms are nice and clean but not as big as other resorts that Ive been to. In some ways it is the best resort Ive been to but it’s not worth the difference in price. I could see paying $150 per night more for this hotel but not the insane $550 more they were asking a few weeks ago. I think the price was $1150 per night. Thats nuts.
@@enriqueermusmd It is a matter of price. Hyatt Viva is the best overall that I have personally been to. I have been to ten resort hotels so far in DR. The question is if are you willing to pay double. You could go to Majestic Mirage for half the price of Hyatt Ziva. I did not think the Hyatt beach was that great. Majestic, Iberostar, Hard Rock all had a better beach. Also the pool at Hyatt was nice but Hard Rock definitely had larger pools and more fun. Hyatt excels at food and service. And everything is new and with just a higher class feel. Rooms though were smaller than most places Ive been to - but still very nice, clean, and comfortable. The only way someone could recommend a resort is to know what you are willing to spend per night, and also what you prioritize.
Hi need to book my vacation noww😭what is the best hotel all time you can recommend to mee…i know you will make a video but i can‘t wait can you pleasee help me…love your videos…thank you🫶🏼
Extremely extremely bad service!!!!! BEWARE!! Lots of other families complaining extremely slow service waiting forever and food is not very good so you end up eating at the buffet most nights waiting forever for them to hand you a plate of cold pizza - NEVER AGAIN

Thanks for the video! How would you rate Hyatt ziva cap cana vs lopesan - in terms of food, service, room, kids activities? Thanks again

Did you visit the Blind Butcher while there? or any of the restaurants on the other side?

Where's the score and why isn't it on your "resort rankings"?
