Can I use Direct Offline Processing with Cubase Elements 13? I am not able to select audio events in order to do so for some reason. Even after the latest update.

I don't think that the Elements level has the Direct Offline Processing functionality. It is found only in Cubase Pro.

@@gregondo376 _ I spoke to a Steinberg Rep and was told the same. That's unfortunate but it will probably worth the upgrade. Thank you for the response though.

Is it still possible to make cuts (splits) in overlapping audio on the same track without cutting through all other the takes? I have been doing this successfully for years in my old Nuendo 4 and Cubase 5, but in the Cubase 8 pro and 10 pro versions, I can’t find an option to do it. It cuts through everything, which is incredibly counter productive. I’m aware of lanes and grouping but have developed a comping method using same track (or grouped tracks) and move to front/back commands that’s much faster than lanes. If it’s no longer available, please request this to be an option in future versions. Thanks for your great work!
