  • The Axkid One is suitable for children from six months to about six or seven years.
The One + (not in this video) comes with an additional insert and can be used from birth.
In this video I explain how to adjust the headrest and harness and how to fit them correctly on children of different ages and sizes.
The One is available to buy here:

Aww such cute little girls. They all look very snug and secure in the seat. Hope once I get mine installed my two year old will be the same 🙏🤞

Do you can really make the straps level do the shoulders on Axkid One 2? I've seen Axkid One and the straps were not moving up or down once the headrest is being adjusted.

The straps are attached to the headrest, they don't adjust independently from it. So when the headrest goes up, the straps go up with it, it's not possible for them not to.

Thank you for the video - may I ask if you had extended the strap/harness? I find it extremely difficult to get enough of the strap to fit into my 2 years old boy! I don't seem to have as much strap length as you've shown in the video for some reason... Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Are you pulling both straps at the same time and as far as they will go? And are the straps level with his shoulders? They may be a bit too low.

    This is so helpful!
How do you know when you need to adjust the straps? My little boy is nearly 10 months.
He has red marks on his thighs after being in his seat, is this normal or too tight or wrong settings? 😅🙈 x

The straps need to be moved up as the baby/child gets bigger, so that the straps are always level with the shoulders. The straps on the thighs cannot be adjusted, they will always sit in the correct position. Red marks indicate that they may be a little too tight.

This is the same with my son. The buckle squashes his private area and I do not think it is adjustable. Waste of money

Do you like the besafe stretch ou axkid minikid 3 best? I haven't got the chance to see them in person yet

I have seen the BeSafe Stretch at a trade show, but I haven't tried it in a car yet. It looked like it will take up a lot of room, I think the Minikid 3 is more compact.

Have you tried the avionaut sky? If so what do you think about it?

I have. It's a very nice seat. A little smaller than most seats up to 25kg, so it won't last quite as long as seats like the Axkid Minikid and One, but it is suitable from birth.
