Oh yeah had a fair bit of power behind it especially some different types of pellets. I remember I grabbed a few various types made by different manufacturers & was test firing them I to a phone book some would penetrative 1/4 the way through but others 3/4. Only ever took it out when away hunting for plinking while hanging out for night to stalk deer. Ended up getting a Crossman 1077 CO2 10 round magazine & only semi auto we can own but has no power
Nice air rifle as I have coyotes jumping in n out of my yard right now and need to say hello to them....LOL....To think I like in a normal urban neighborhood and have coyotes running wild....Who knew....Good stuff....
Hey! It's Pat Rrr Mah Gerd with a pellet gun. I've been looking into airguns a bit. I think this new version of the break barrels with the multi-shot magazines is cool. I'm actually a like surprised you haven't gotten your hands on at least one of the big bore air guns.
Awesome video pat. Something i have done since i been a kid also . Been wanting to get one also . With laws changing in pa where hunt small game vermint with them know kind makes it cool.
Awsome video. Go to wally world get the gamo red fires and some crosman hollow points. With the crosmans I get 10 in a dime size group at 30 yards, and their only like 7 bucks for 500. The red fires about a nickle group at 30 yards, 9 bucks for 125.
Looks like my Gamo Maxxim from 2017 ? Different colored stock and a horizontal mag system . Pretty neat how they change a few things and call it a NEW model . Didn't like the included scope so it was holding down the trash can lid for a while . They can upgrade the rifle but they use the same old tired scope , how funny . 🤣.
Definitely a lot of fun without spending a lot of money. And most places you can fire them in your backyard even if you're in town. I also have a Benjamin bulldog which is 35 caliber, and an airforce Texan which is 45 caliber and suppressed. Since they are not firearms a suppressor is not a problem. One could easily kill a deer with the Airforce Texan. It launches a pretty big pill 💊❤
Taurus of the air gun industry. Are far as the pellets I've shot just about every one they make. None group. I have 23 air rifles. What you will realize, in the future, is they won't sell you a part. Ship it back for a one dollar part.
Great video. Have had mine a few months now and was wanting the trigger a little easier to pull. Is it the little screw below the trigger that i need to lossin to make that happen? Thanks
Hi, just got mine, the cross in the scope is blurry, whatever i do, i guess i have to reach out to Cabelas...can you tell me what scope you have on it in this video, and power ajustable ?
For the price of one of these you should get the magnum, way more power, also the swarm whisper is exactly the same as this gun but $100 cheaper, same fps same muzzle energy, gen 1 mags work great as long as you don’t double feed them but that’s user error not the guns fault.. great gun nonetheless but get the magnum for cheaper and 10 more pounds of energy..
Amazon has the gamo rocket pellets, bb tipped , just over 6 bucks for a can of 100, I have them on the subcribe and save thing that Amazon offers, 1 get 1 can every 6 months, they are decent
Actually, it's a "shrouded" barrel. And, YES it IS a rifle (a gun with a rifled barrel, as opposed to a gun with a smooth barrel). The word "stoeger" (a very famous German pistol/rifle producer, nowadays belonging to Beretta corporation) is pronounced as "stoger" ("oe" just like "o" in the word "stove"). Congrats for buying yourself a good airgun!
Problem with airguns today is, once they make one that looks as good as shoots it is 1800 bux. Why, its cost less than a real a real firearm to make. You get less than a real rifle. Calling it precision does make it worth double. You can get the same performance from lower priced airguns like this one for a quarter of the cost. All because they dont look as cool. Now I understand the more features offered the more the cost but.........do you realize how much 1800 will get you in a real gun?
@@PatRMG Well, now I have to watch the rest of the video. 🤣🤣🤣 Would have been better to say it's not a firearm. Gamo used to make some .22 caliber air shotguns. I have one, a Gamo Shadow Express. Shoots special .22 shotshells, and it's a smoothbore, not a rifle.
I like the pellets that are the alloy style cuz they tend to be stronger and I setup a way to collect pellets so sometimes I can reuse them.
I'll be trying the alloy pellets soon.
Nice. I had a Gamo Nitro piston .177 I sold it because it was almost as loud as a 22lr & was a pain cocking it.
The 177 rifles get some pretty good velocity numbers from what I'm reading.

I feel like you were telling my childhood story lol. Great review from a guy in his forties looking to get into airguns
You always have the best toys Pat. 🤜🤛
I try.... 😁
Pretty cool, I've been thinking about getting an air gun again. Thanks for the video
I used to love them as a kid. Kinda makes me feel young again.
Better than 30 years ago. Push the button, tip it and shake so the BBs come out of the reservoir lol. Pump it up 10 times.
And hope that a BB sticks to the magnet on the bolt!🤣🤣🤣
Pat. Good video. Nice gun. Thanks for sharing and take care.
Thanks a bunch, Bobcat!
I like the magnum for max power.
I may have to try the magnum model!
They are a real workout .@@PatRMG

Coyotes will run wild when they go unchecked. Get after them Scott!

I'm wanting to work my way into the big bore stuff. This is me dipping my toes into the water!
@@PatRMG Heck yeah! I'm looking forward to that!
Great cheap quiet plinking/practice.
Definitely. I got a bunch of pellets for less than a box of 30-30 ammo.

I like it because it makes me feel a bit like a kid again.
LOVE it! What rest is that you're using??? Looks pretty stable and cool!
It's a Bog Deathgrip.
On my bucket list .@@PatRMG

PCP air rifles are no joke
I eventually want to get into PCP air rifles.

i havent owned a pellet gun in ages. my question is, what do these new ones these days run off of, compressed air? co2? pump action?
Pretty cool!

thats a nice lookin rifle right there
I think so too!
Is there anything metal on the rifle besides the barrel?
What is the name of the gun tri pod your using
Good video!
How far is this good for accuracy

But does it have the same scope?
Price?
Is this beter then the gamo magnum 3? .22
Mount the green dot made by gamo and you’re playing cod with an mk2

I’m trynna find a pellet gun that you don’t have to pump or anything like that lol
Wats your fpe on this
It IS A rifle. !!!! It's not a pistol?????
Your video is a failure at 15 seconds. That pellet rifle is a rifle. It has a rifled barrel. It's not a smoothbore.
For context, this is the first airgun to appear on my channel. If I say 22 rifle, my audience will think rimfire.
