I see this totally differently. Kenny has shown less desperation than I’ve seen him with the last several years. Cooper on the other hand, is a mental manipulator. He does things to get you off your game so that when he gets by you, you’re not even mentally equipped to fight back. That’s his master racecraft. Cooper is a tough and tricky. But Ken has shown more poise than I’ve ever seen him with. I think most of us are just overreacting to cooper’s two wins in a row.

Was going to comment the same thing. Kenny has matured over the years, and I'm sure his injuries and challenges have humbled him greatly. Wasn't a Roczen fan early on but I am now.

Guys calm down, Ken just fought his way from almost last to 4th. 2 weeks ago everyone thought he was unbeatable, now people pretend like he is done
100%. To me that ride was more amazing then a holeshot check out walk away. Too many Fairweather fans in this sport. There were so many Tomac fans at the track I ride...then by week 4 all the sudden I hear the same ppl saying "Tomac isn't good anymore...they've been a Ken fan forever"...We will see what they're saying now that Webb is close to the red plate
I've been a huge Kenny fan for as long as he's been on TV...kids got this championship.

Not to mention, Kenny is good enough to win, that's obvious, but he's got the championship mindset to not risk it and settle in a position.

I get what you’re saying and yes it was a good ride, but he was only 4 spots behind coop coming out of the first corner.
It comes down to starts. If one of these riders gets the holeshot and the other gets10th place start, baring mistakes, the holeshot wins every time.

RC and Stewart would crash be in dead last and still chase everyone down and win the moto without the person in first falling or making a mistake ! Stewart and RC won EVERY moto of a whole season before ;)
Idk. Seems like Roczen wants it but doesn’t want to throw it all away making a mistake so people get the impression that the desire isn’t there or something. Barcia wants it, but he’s a squirrel. Just fast enough to scare the fast guys but not enough to win it all. Tomac needs to figure out his starts. Still a big issue.
Being that roczen knows he has everything he needs to get this championship, I feel like he's taking a Dungey type of approach, he hasn't placed out of the top 5 at all this season and he's been the only one to do that. Dude is easily the most consistent and has the raw speed and racing super smart

Yup. I do like this channel but they continually do that to multiple riders. The old saying used to be “those who can’t do teach”. I guess nowadays those who can’t do run a channel.

Cooper Webb can ride at any level he needs to if he gets a good start. If he is in the top 5 on the 1st lap he has a good chance of winning every time. Watch Eli Tomac turn it up a notch but fall just short of the championship. I got Cooper Webb winning it all he looks flawless and he seems more confident then Roczen at this moment..

If Tomac pulls his finger out I see him losing the championship by about 9 points , he has to win every single race left otherwise to win if webb and roczen stay healthy

@@ave0828 I agree it but doesn’t seem like he is riding with his usual fire , but may be track related I haven’t been a fan of these tracks so far very tight hopefully they open up a bit after Daytona and get closer to 1min long laps Daytona is the turning point
@@TATE411 Tomac absolutely dominates the mx/sx style tracks he is always dominant in Daytona. Atlanta might be just like Daytona they're having the 3 races at the Atlanta motor speedway. It would be very cool if Tomac just went on a clean sweep the next 2 rounds. It would make this season much more exciting besides only having 2 dudes battle for the championship until the end.

It's not just about wanting it. They all "want it". It's about having the skill and confidence and being completely comfortable on your bike. Having them all at the same time is hard to achieve. You telling me they all don't want that pay day, trophy, red plate and title of "no1"!
Sleeter is the best
Kenny is good, he’s a class act, he’s got speed, he’s got race craft, and overall he might be the best rider on the track every single race. But Cooper Webb is an animal. He’s got championship instincts that Ken hasn’t shown yet. If Ken isn’t careful Webb will win the championship again. I don’t even like Webb that much, but he might be my favorite rider because of his ability to grind for wins

I think Webb will win the championship. He seems to handle the pressure better than Rozcen. But this is supercross and one mistake can change everything.
Webb has done it before and knows what it takes. But like you said - it's Supercross and anything can happen.

TV, fans etc aside - The sport, strictly on the track is in an amazing place rn. The parody in the riders mental toughness, personalities and on track relationships is really fun to watch. For me alot of that comes down to Ken's intensity on and off the track and Cooper's stoic 'I dont give a fuck' attitude. Also me yelling at the tv for Mookie to get a start is fun every weekend too lmao. love it!

I think it's about when Webb's team put the board out early so Ken could see it. It said the gap between the two to let Ken know web was coming

One thing I’ve noticed this year Roczen’s starts are better than they’ve been for years, he was just a bit unlucky on Saturday off the gate.
Daytona I expect Tomac to win, but after that I see Roczen being back on top again

@@nataliedeyton6829 he had the pass made before the whoops, but again the whoops aren’t proper, Cooper was struggling when they were fresh. Once everyone was jumping them he didn’t loose time.

I would love to see Ken win, but I think Webb is stronger. He knows what it takes and has shown he can get it done. Ken has an issue with letting wins slip away.

I remember when Webb won the championship people implied that it was due to luck (circumstances like injuries and crashes to other riders). I’m rooting for Roczen, but anyone that can’t see that Webb is Fast AF and those 2 guys are consistency at the top, aren’t paying attention.

HUMILITY and RESPECT are as important, as talent and determination . You cannot have a Champion without those ingredients. I think they're both full of all four... champions are made on their worst days, and those worst days will decide who has the respect, humility, talent, and the determination, to be a champion! The 250 class is getting way out of hand just because you can pass someone doesn't mean you have to take them out or end someone's career, all those rookies need to settle down.
Kenny is way too nice. He refuses to put in an ounce of aggressiveness into his passes, and a lot of the time, doesn't even try the pass. Maybe Kenny does want it as much, but it's definitely not apparent.
He's thinking long term and being smart.

@@jkell411 I think not. He has no enemies or people that have to pay him back. He's had no bad races partly because he's not taken any chances. His lead may be dwindling but he's still in the lead and if you keep taking chances, well eventually it'll come to bite you. He needs to just keep on getting those great starts and being consistent. Competitors often take themselves out and Supercross is as much a stay in the game to win thing as being fast. Wins are great but it can all end in one dumb move. Webb is obviously amazing but so is Ken and whoever makes the fewest mistakes (and gets the best starts) is likely going to be the champ.

I'm hoping KR can win the championship because he's been through a lot. Webb has 1 championship under his belt. I'm not a huge Webb fan but I think he is the strongest rider mentally right now. He seems to have the edge with confidence and the last few rounds are just adding to that. The thing Kenny has going against him is he starts the season great but struggles as the season goes on. Can it be from his injury that his fitness/strength drops off as the season progresses.
And Tomac is just not showing speed he's capable of. Kind of strange when it looks like he's just cruising around and not fighting for positions.

Kenny might be desperate but his new attitude that he has in 2021 kind of levels it out, I don't know but it might be broken if Webb keeps winning and takes the points lead, it could be a shitstorm if that happens

Everyone seems to be saying Ken's got it, I disagree. The point was made that doubt could be creeping in. I think this may be true, I mean think about it Roczen was a monster in 2017, but as he's just come back he may doubt that he can do it since it's been a while. Webb has had terrible crashes too, but he seems completely confident and is on an amazing team. I think Webb is on a hot streak and for Ken to win he needs to believe in himself and shift momentum, but as of right now I see Cooper Webb winning the championship.
It might just come down to who has the best start percentage.
Or who can make the best moves early when they don’t get a good start

I'm not a Real fan of either one. But in my eyes webb is the one who's more desperate. Just by seeing his reaction after winning Orlando 1 by less than a second to roczen said a lot to me, I said to myself this guy should be stoked but no. He had beaten roczen yet he looked unsatisfied, no smile after seeing how this guy who'd he beat so easily the last few years had to make him work that freakin hard to keep that tiny gap till the end, same in Orlando 2, yes he gained 7 points yet he knew Ken shoulda got stock way back with that sitty start and lose more points, I mean that's kenny shitty night and he still gets 4th, again, not good news to him. Ken just won 3 straight and hasn’t placed out of the top 5 yet. We have seen him charge back from bad starts twice now. In past years he has never been able to do that. We haven’t seen that from Webb yet.
I guess we will have to wait and see.
I will say this tho, if Webb is in the riders heads like they say he is I wouldn’t be able to win a race either. That voice, his face. It’s awful.

Kenny will pull away with this, he just had a bad start. If he had a good one, then Cooper would have to worry. But Kenny can pull his points lead out on tracks like Atlanta and Daytona
