I think what it comes down to in this sport is the slowest guy on the track trying to qualify could have a crazy accident and die in this sport.. I’m football dude on the bench just warms the bench Riders don’t make shit and everytime they ride it’s the risk they take… and these guys are ridding more then 150 days a year in order to get paid on race day…. Say they ride 40 laps 150 days a year that’s over 6,000 laps of risk in order to put on a show and make a check…. Capitalism is great but socialism sucks and in this sport the lines thin
Yeah sure thats why GH is known for doing some odd ball things to make a extra dollar and rarely putting money back into their facility. They dont even have flaggers on practice days so dont get it twisted that they care so much about the sport as a whole.

To emphize your point of not "really/truly" caring about the Pro Riders on the well known practice days they show up. They allow an 85 rider or any Joe/Sarah amateur out there with the Pros and I don't care how good they are they're not going to be at the Pro's pace and risk getting hit possibly injuring both. I honestly can't believe Pro's still show up..... Bottom line, this is two self-centered empires trying to make it out as the other is the evil empire.......

GH put on one of the best if not the best mx race. I have flown from all over the country to go watch the races. Wven in the hot summer. Epic track, great races. I wld definitely do it again if they put on an ama mx race. Enough w the greed, let's race!

I don't need to know everything, but when 12 promoters trust you to represent them and help them, then you turn around and instead of purchasing the rights with all 12 promoters, you create mx sports, buy it from under them and then go back to those same 12 tracks and charge more? Trust me - other tracks have issues; however, they are not willing to risk the political backlash (aka-lose a Loretta Lynn's qualifier) like Bud and Lori are. The only catalyst for changes in our sport (bigger prize purse; a race series that doesn't run from January - October, etc.) is to get below the superficial message of Davy Coombs. He likes to convey "Ah shucks I am just a good guy trying to save the sport". Talk to anyone that has dealt with DC his sister or Tim Cotter and you realize that their business antics verge on illegal.
