It's WB restrictions because of the polarizing nature of the movie.
About the guns, they're being advertised as not being toys.
If I had $250 to spend, it definitely wouldn't be for this thats for sure. Try again Mcfarlane.
It seems WB dictates the price on some properties and that's one they try to make it harder to go out. I think Todd wanted to make it available for die hard fans, and that's it.
For 250 you can buy 20 very nice figures at sale.
McFarland is Canadian so that's why he made the McKenzie toys
This computes
Bob and Doug McKenzie were fictional talk show hosts on the legendary SCTV comedy series that launched the careers of John Candy, Rick Moranis, Dave Thomas, Eugene Levy, Andrea Martin, Catherine O'Hara, Harold Ramis, Joe Flaherty and Martin Short. I'm a huge fan of SCTV, and was beyond excited to own a very unlikely McFarlane diorama from that show.
What a moment from 22 years ago
And scalpers will still try to resell it for more. Hope they collect dust
Yep!😆
Scalpers prices $350!?😒
Curious as to what the sales numbers will be!
And collectors thought the motu snake lair was too much at $300 when you got a full play set, a vehicle and a couple of figures
It was..
Collectors are morons
2 figures at $25 each, so $200 for a little piece of wall, a floor, a desk, and a couple chairs... Mcfarlane has lost his mind.
Not forgetting the life-size props no one wanted!
Wasn't the BatWing from the Flash movie $250? That would be much more worthwhile then this.
Wait, swappable faceplates? Not even full heads? I think this swt is going to end up on clearence.
Bingo!🔻😆
At $250 the Batwing should have had electronics
Right.😆
@@RetroToyEscapades Then he would have charged $400 for it, like a haslab. lol
It's not a playset. It is a diorama.
Playsets have built-in action play-features.
Isn't it rather 250 Australian Dollars? That price would make much more sense. 😀 😛
Mcfarlane charging 250 for Mcfarlane quality toys with super7 pricing.
premium collectible price for mass-market figures. This should be a $100 set at most.
Set isn't worth 50 bucks
Should not be priced above their large scale vehicles
