- In this video we talk about our experiences with transportation in Puerto Rico. We have been there twice but this time we chose to do taxis and ubers in Puerto Rico instead of renting a car! #puertorico #sanjuan #travelchannel
I wouldn't say we are experts in transportation in Puerto Rico but these are just our experiences. Here are some other videos from other creators about transportation in Puerto Rico and Sam Juan.
Ubers & Taxis - Cost one way from Airport $18-$22

Thank You , This Video Was Very Helpful.❤
We just went to San Juan for 5 days vacation. San Juan Airport has tourist information downstairs. They give us free raincoat and all the Bus routes. We decided not to rent a car since we were staying only in Sanjuan. Bus and train are free rides for 6 months ( Mar- Aug - 2024). We took the bus and train everywhere. Bus T-5 goes to the Airport - Ocean Park to Old San Juan (the Bus terminal is one block next to Walgreens Store). Since we stay in Ocean Park, we use T-5 every day to go to Old San Juan and do all our activities from there
Awesome ty so much!!
The D53 public transit bus runs right in front of the Marriott to Old San Juan,Isa la Verde beach and SJU airport. For .75 it's a bargain but it does not run past 9 pm or Sundays or Holidays. Plus if take a short walk down Condano Ave there a super Walmart just south of the Marriott.
Omg thank you. Awesome tip
I visit San Juan last year and I did not rent a car. I use Uber to go to Old San Juan and it cost me under $10. Maybe because my hotel was located in the downtown San Juan to Old San Juan was not far. All my Uber drive were under or around 10 dollars.
Nice!!!
I remember when we rented a car during our visit in Puerto Rico, They told us not to use our turn signals as drivers in Puerto Rico never use them and that if we use our turn signals, we can get marked as a tourist and get followed.
Wow!!! Crazy
@3 Days 3 Noches Yeah, luckily, I still have family there, especially my moms cousin is also a Police Officer there , so we get most the safety guidance from him when visiting Puerto Rico
Nice!!! Thanks for the tips!!
Same thing in The Bronx NY and never stop at a red light for more than 3 seconds
Omg!!
Thank you, this video is very helpful!
Thank you for watching!!
Helpful beyond belief♡
Really??? So glad!!
I'm from Puerto Rico and I can confirm that drivers are crazy 😂 I personally use signals and it doesnt matter as people will always try to pass you.
My advise for people traveling there, if you're looking for beach experience try to stay in "Rincon" which is a town located in the west of the island & you can fly to Aguadilla airport which will allow you to get to Rincon in 30 mins.
If you're traveling more for historical landmarks then I would recommend staying in "Condado" or somewhere near so you can go to places like "Old San Juan" & "El Morro"
Thank you so much!!! Great info!
@@3Days3Noches Thank you for the amazing content 🙌🏻
Thank you for watching!!!
Totally agree. I thought driving in Philly or NYC was crazy, but PR has them beat by a mile. Though honestly, it somehow works and is efficient
Agreeed ha hs
Beautiful Puerto Rico u s a the number 8 wonder of the world
😍😍
Thank you ❤
🌞🌞
What do you do for a living? I would love to travel as much as you do. What a blessing! 👍🏻
It really is a blessing!!! I own a few companies and my partners who film also are independent contractors! In between travel I also rarely eat out or spend money going out or buying things I don’t need which saves me about $500 per month minimum sometimes more.
@@3Days3Noches wow! 👏🏻👏🏻 good for you all. Enjoying all your content. Thank you for all the great advice.
Awwwww thanks so much for watching and the support

Probably have to rent a car, since my uncle has a vacay home out there.
Makes sense!
I have AT&T. Can I make phone calls to the states if I visit PR??
I have Verizon so I’m not sure!
@@3Days3Noches god bless!
do you know a good rental car company in San Juan?
I do not!! I would stick with the major brands though like Hertz
They do have a bus system … LOL
They do???🤣🤣🤣
The bus system though is extremely inefficient, and this coming from someone who sometimes had to wait 1 hour or more for a bus to arrive.
RIP Public cars they existed way before uber
