Most breeding happens during the night or when it’s Cool . Kiwi Shayne in England.🥰 You have really nice Cattle you have. Are they Red Angus ??? Or a different breed ???
Do you use anything to sync all your cows being in heat at the same time? or do you just put them together and hope that in 2 months the job will have taken place?
@@stephanie3848 sorry, just saw this comment. We prefer their dispositions better than the black angus. We had herefords many years ago but they would sunburn so red angus seemed to be the best middle ground for black angus to herefords
I remember going through the artificialbreefers barn with these massive bulls. So the trick is to get the artifcial vagina on the bull when it is mounting. Think is that a cow just cant be used because of the weight day in and out ruins them. Instead they use a mount bull. Mount bulls were breeders that just stopped performing. What a sad way for a bull to end a carrier mount bull.
Not entirely sure of your question. However, if you are asking if the cows sexually prefer other cows rather than bulls there is nothing we have ever seen (in studies or in person) to suggest that. Cattle are not developed mentally like human beings to associate nuanced emotions or preferences such as that. They do have emotions and understandings of things similar to us which is described in some of our other videos. Instead, they follow biological sexual needs that result in breeding season and ultimately calves 9 months later.

Much appreciated, they are indeed Red Angus
One day I will be a beef master farmer too. I will enjoy the natural phenomenon.
bull: "let's do it one more time, baby!"
cow: "earl, lose some weight first! my hips are killing me!"
It must be wonderful to experience being on that ranch and breath that fresh air, I wonder if they take guests?
We hope to open our ranch to guests in the coming years! Thanks for the inquiry!
Spring break for the Bulls ?
Haha one could say that!

No sync methods, but we try to saturate with a 1 bull to 18 or 20 cow ratio. We have a 98% conception rate consistently each year
@@HashknifeRanch Thank you for the info.
The way it kicks the bulls it remind me when i was milking cows and taming the ones who were milked for the first time
Good job boys. ❤
What breed are these bulls...are these beef masters?
All of our cattle are currently Red Angus
Is your herd registered? The boys are busy.
No, our herd is not registered. The only reason we would register is if we produced bulls or show cattle. We only produce for beef
Is your herd mainly comprised of Red Angus?
Yes, the only time we have blacks is when neighbor bulls jump the fence and we do not catch them quickly enough.
I’m from Scotland 🏴 I didn’t know you got Red Angus !!!! I thought they were all Black
Is there something better about the red Angus? Just curious

Why don't you just say, "Buy yer beef here". Awesome.
Just wondering where you are located
We are in south central Montana in a small town called Ryegate!
❤❤❤
Wow 👏 👌 OMG
I know I'm a couple of years late. I just saw your vid. Do your cattle have anything to do with the Biblical "Red Heifer"?
No, they do not but thank you for the question!
4 bulls for how many cows? Don't the bulls fight? All your animals look great.
We manage 2 breeding herds. All bulls have a max of 20 cows. They do fight but we rarely have any major issues
'Ahh, Good to be bull."

Does mating last 10 seconds...
Take your time. Think about what you plan to say and then calmly express yourself.
That last cow is significantly lame.
Jumped right out at me too.
Why this female tale is cuted off?
We don't cut tails. Some are missing due to frostbite as calves
Lesbian cows?
