Patty has composed and been part of many songs from Folk over Pop/Dance-Pop to Metal, including 2 songs for the Amazon Prime Series "Carnival Row" (composed by her and performed in Series 1 "Lora Lie Lo" and "Grieve no more" as the voice of Aisling Querelle). Her most successful songs so far are a cover of "Over the Hills and far away" (Original Gary Moore/Nightwish) and the hurdy-gurdy-multilayer-version of her own song "The longing" which she wrote originally for the German pirate metal band "Storm Seeker" of which was a member for a few years. She also collabed with German Medieval-Folkrock-Bands as Subway To Sally, dArtagnan and Feuerschwanz and with metalbands as Alestorm and Scardust and more. Fiddler's Green is a fantastic liveband for "speedfolk", which means that they often take traditional Irish songs and perform them much faster than the originals, but they also compose own songs in this style. And of course take a look at the bartender - Ben Metzner from dArtagnan and Feuerschwanz, a bagpipe-player and singer. The video was recorded at the Irish pub "Dubliner" in Bayreuth, so everything you see here is German. Well, many Germans love Ireland. 🙂
