@@InSearchofPhysicalMedia Besides their latest releases Henry Portrait of a Serial Killer and Southern Comfort nothing big is announced so far but you never know. What definitely is not happening this year unfortunately is the long time ago announced 4K world premiere of Hellraiser. It's not cancelled though but will take some more time. I will be unboxing the new mediabook for House of Wax (2005) by Nameless Media Germany later today. It's an insane artwork with all that glossy front!

So it’s kind of a 2 part explanation, I sometimes hold something in my hands to help control my pain shakes that I have to deal with so that I don’t shake my arms as much in the video & then other times I just simply forget I am holding it while I am talking & sharing all the testing data lol!!! 😂 My wife gets really upset at me when I film & hold those huge TV series boxed sets the whole time filming because she sees how much the pain takes out of me afterwards. 🤷♂️ I do appreciate that you love💚 my videos & all your caring comments 😜

Excellant review! I watched this when I was 12 years old at boarding school and I totally loved it. Scary it was and I think it's one of those movies that it's one of the best horrors ever made! I'm defo going to buy this on 4k and it will bring back memories when I first saw it!

I got the Best Buy Steelbook version last month and watched it and loved it.
Note, there is a documentary on the new disc that's not on the 2008. The original making of Poltergeist featurette, it's about 7 minutes but it's incredible.

Yes as I explained in this video the Blu Ray includes the new remastered audio & video but just in 1080p HD on the Blu Ray. Hope this helps you!👍
I went with the steelbook. The cover art of the standard edition just sucks.

Yes but it mostly depends on if I like the SteelBook artwork or not, if I don’t like the artwork I won’t spend the extra money for it. I usually try to only pick one copy either regular or SteelBook depending on the prices too lol!! 🤣 What about you, do you buy both?

@@InSearchofPhysicalMedia I really liked the potential steelbook 4k artwork they did for this. Not sure if they used it or if the 4k is out. I got the slip cover one though. I’m not a huge fan of steelbooks. You should look it up if you haven’t seen it. Kinda cool.

Lol!!! 😆 Yah that’s exactly what I was talking about in this video, I could have thought of over a dozen better ideas 💡 for both The Lost Boys & Poltergeist 4K covers lol!!! But it’s really hard to complain too much when they did such an outstanding job with both transfers. Especially when I have seen 4Ks with amazing cover artwork & horribly bad transfers lol!!! 🤣
So we should be counting our good fortune on these 4K releases!

Not that I have been notified yet about from Paramount Studios, they are first looking at releasing catalog titles that have high sales numbers for 4K releases. So there are a lot more popular titles to be released before I think we will see anything for Clue the movie!

I like when steelbook artwork looks like crap. Saves me the temptation of buying the steelbook.

I agree, hopefully Criterion can do more Disney catalog titles & bring more 20th century Fox titles to 4K too & at much better quality than Disney ever did!

Was way too grain scrubbed for my liking but they didn’t remove as much fine festival as to cause them to look unnatural
Overall it’s worth picking up but it’s disappointing that WB presented the film to look more modern than was ever intended for it
