i have the same case and i only had to plug the 3pin into the mobo and the led would turn on aswell withouth the molex connector. Nice vid btw, love ur cable management :) my one sucks. When i get my new fans ill be taking my pc apart and tidy it up and do the same cable management like urs :D
***** Nice! (Just watched your setup vid). I did correct myself in the description realising that I didn't need both the molex and 3pin connector plugged in at the same time. Thanks for commenting :)
nice video im looking at getting this case as i watched your unboxing vid on it. i found you from your review of it on amazon anyway ive subed cause its great content keep it up
Ótimo tutorial! Você me ajudou bastante, procurei em varios lugares para saber como montar e você foi o unico que mostrou detalhadamente como montar o gabinete. Valeu.
Aside the nothces on the CPU (haven't heard if you had mentioned that) there is a gold triangle on the CPU which alines with a triangle in the socket. This becomes useful on AMD CPUs, as they don't have notches as Intel does. One very important mistake - don't put a motherboard on a anti-static bag. It can shortout motherboard anyways as the anti-static surface is only inside of this bag. Better put the motherboard on a box in which was the motherboard. Some other tips? You can put SSD closer (that means on the lowest sledge) to the HDD in the case, so you can have a little cleaner build. And the CPU_FAN2 header is meant to use with second fan on the CPU heatsink. For the case fans are SYS_FANx headers and are better to use that one for case fans. And as you right noticed, the molex and 3-pin fan header are not connected it the same time. This molex connector is meant to use, when there is lack of 3-pin fan headers on the motherboard. Another good tip about the front panel connectors - the positives are always colored. :) That's all - thumb up for this video. Quiet long, could be a little shorter I guess, but it's still very good video for the beginners.
Bazdir Border Collie Thanks for them tips. I know about the gold triangle but didn't mention it. I purely plugged the SYS fan into the CPU fan 2 header for aesthetics with the molex. I will probably change that now. Nothing's blown up yet so I'm happy! :) Thanks again for commenting and I appreciate the tips.
myeah..it is an 'anti-static' bag, but it IS plastic and IS conductive, putting your mobo on top of it..i wouldn't take that risk, i didn't use a grounding wristband on my build, just touched the psu's non painted metal when plugged in (power off) now and then. If i was assembling electronics day in day out i'd invest in a wristband and mat but that's not the case.
Hi, yes the front panel can be removed to add another 120mm fan. It has 6 clips which need to be squeezed from the inside. (They are really tough) The front can then be pulled off. Remember to give yourself slack for the front panel connector cables. I hope this helps. :)
Hi, it depends on the rest of your components. CPU, GPU having the highest power usage. Also think about the number of drives you have, any water cooling /fans etc.
You can, as long as the strap connects to a non-painted part of the case and the power supply is screwed to the case also with non-painted screws. This is needed to make a connection from the strap to the power supply. (Paint is non-conductive). Then make sure that the power lead is plugged in to the power supply and wall outlet. (doesn't need to be turned on). I couldn't find any bare metal on my case to attach the strap to, so grounded my self on the radiator which should be earthed.
Don't worry about it. I'm still running this PC now and not looking to upgrade it yet. Looking for a new GPU, but with prices and availability how they are at the moment, it's not going to happen!
Yea previously i was on amd phenom ii x4 940 and it was awfull. But now i have a i5-4690k oc to 4.2ghz. And it is amazing i am not gonna upgrade for 2 years!
Cheers! I'd like to build a really compact PC, but have no use for one and don't have the money to throw at it which is a shame. Enjoy building your future PC's!
I have Motherboard:MSI B85 G-43, CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4440 CPU @ 3.10GHz. I need incrise memory RAM to 32GB 1600Hz. Anyone know it will be working with configuration below like this: 【DDR3 RAM】Gigastone Desktop RAM 32GB (4x8GB) DDR3 32GB DDR3-1600MHz PC3-12800 CL11 1.5V 240 Pin Unbuffered Non ECC UDIMM for PC Computer Desktop Memory Module (Desktop ONLY)
This video is so old yet it still helped so much thank you so much, that big case definitely helps understand it all as a great layout

Nice vid on building a modern pc❤

Thanks! I'm glad it was useful!
Great video, curious if you ever used the mSata card slot? Rebuilding an very old computer and got this board brand new in the box.
Thanks, no I haven't.
Can I play good games in 2022 on this pc ?

what kind of plastic is conductive?
@@rjdiiorio Not conductive really, more of - can carry static electricity on its surface, as it's not a solid plastic.
hi Elliot I have the same case pleas answer my question is the front panel of the case can bee pulled out yo add another fan?

Nice video mate, im getting the same case, i was wondering, these sata cables you are using, how many centimeters long are they?
+MehmetArslan Thanks! I used the ones which came with my motherboard so I believe they are the standard 50cm.
How many watts PSU do I need to power on this board MSI z87-g45

We have rgb header?
Its a ATX size motherboard?!
That is correct.
Elliott Mo thx :)
The fact that I am building a personal build in 2021 with a msi g43 is just sad

Não é necessário pasta térmica?
The thermal paste was already applied to the Intel Stock Cooler
No thermal paste on the cpu
The cpu cooler comes with it already applied
nice job i built my pc to
