Totally agree. For quite some time, I have been bored with 99% of case releases. There's only so much you can do, right? This case has piqued my interest again.
@@johnt.848 An _H7_ Flow?? Lol it literally looks nothing like that... Maybe more like an H9, but only in the fact that they both have two adjacent sides that are glass. That's pretty much where the similarities end.
Anyone saying you are going to shill for the company because it's sponsored obviously hasn't watched any of your videos and know you. I have every confidence in your integrity to give us complete transparency and honesty.
A great video, thank you for taking time to check us out Paul! We can't wait to show you what else we've been working on and hope you'll check that out as well.
This case is Sick, 11x140 fans is absolutely bonkers for a mid-tower. Definitely going to buy this case for my next build and load it up with 11xLian Inf Fans, it's going to be a torrent of air flow.
The white version with it's rounded edges all over, gives me serious futuristic space station vibes. Perfect for sci-fi themed build with some added decals or something.
I started watching the video a bit skeptical, but the more you showed the more I noted they put a LOT of thought in all the features. The case looks REALLY nice... the glass panel to redirect air is amazing, gives a great effect with the lights on the fans. I really like it and with the amount of options, I don't feel like it is priced too expensive. Seemed to me quite well thought. I am impressed.
I have an O11 XL, and this is the first case that makes me think about changing it! Great case, especially considering HAVN is a new company. New players have balls, HAVN and HYTE.
Really unique case and it actually looks really well made too! Thoughtful planning and execution by a newcomer to the PC case market, I dig it! Thanks for the video, Paul.
tilted bottom intake is genius because it goes around gpu but still allows the gpu to suck in some of it, and then the rest goes up and through the rest of the case out the top for a fireplace configuration.
Man I'm liking the black version of the case. All of the other reviews I've watched showcased the white versions of the case. This version looks much better.
Sometimes when I look at a cases that are produced I wonder if they even tested to build a pc in it before selling it to the public. This Havn case looks like they actually put a lot of thought into it and worked out a ton of small details. Certainly raises the bar. I feel like it’s well worth it
Oooh, that looks nice! I like the contrasting colors on the case. Looks like a lot of thought went in to the access ports and routing. I hope it performs as well as it looks.
Man, it's been ages since I've watched a build video. After building my first pc, which I still use, I just haven't had the need to watch many build videos. Although the boring tech improvements haven't helped either in piquing my curiosity. This new case certainly has caught my attention this time around.
When you mentioned the price and after only a quick look at the case I almost spat my coffee. But on seeing the unboxing and manual I started to understand. By the end my neck was sore from nodding. Not really my style of case but I love the engineering and UX.
Thanks HAVN for bringing us something new even if it is a Fish tank design which I like anyway but still different. I will be watching for your products 👍
Excellent peek into building in this new case design. Someone with the company has some serious attention to details for the build process and interesting ideas how to improve on functionality. A design with actual effort put into cable management assistance rather than it being an afterthought is a surprise. The only thing I felt was missing was a look at the finished cable management in the second chamber to see if the space was sufficient and everything closes as expected. A standard GPU mount with flat bottom infinity fans pulling air in might be an option for my own next build. Interesting to see what other options they company comes up with for their case lineup.
Thanks Paul for the review. Just picked up one of the non-vertical ones and am looking forward to building in it. It should be an interesting switch from my o11 Dynamic XL (non evo) to this one.
Awesome video! Awesome case! 2 things: (1) I don't think this case is for me. Money is not the problem here, I just don't bother getting too fancy as long as everything runs cool. (2) Did you happen to double check your cpu mount? Doesn't matter if the mount went text book perfect. Sometimes the gremlins get fuckey and leave bubbles in the paste and before you know it they're grilling snausages on the ALU.
I'm almost 7 minutes into the video and I'm already sold (the part showing the air deflector inside the case). This case is obviously well thought out. Honestly, Paul, your "sponsored video" disclosure at the beginning was unnecessary. Your integrity is far from being in question, I'm pretty sure that's why most of us watch your videos and value your recommendations.
Now, at the end of the video, my opinion got stronger toward the case and even the price is well justified. This is my next case and I just happen to have an itch for a new one, but haven't been able to find one that made me say, "I gotta have that", until now. Great video!
Between this build process/showcase and GN's in depth review I'd feel pretty confident buying one of these. The white case with just a regular mount would be great for something I've got in mind. Even better though if they released a compact version. Without fans on the front you've still got tonnes of space for the ridiculous GPUs these days.
This is a REALLY nice case! a tad bit pricy but you can tell the effort is there with the small details in the sticker routing suggestions and even the manual which looks to be LIGHTYEARS better then other MFG... Good Job HAVN 👍😁
18:43 its okay, BeQuiet! will be releasing reverse fans of Light Wings (both the first and the new LX). though it will only be available *first* on the new cases they'll be releasing.
This is a cool looking case which makes some real effort to be high quality and do something interesting with airflow. Watched the GN review of the case, too, which they quite liked despite it not being top of the stack for cooling. Quite impressive build quality and qol items. :)
You should have correlate temp and clock speed to better tell the story for the CPU. Also the bottom fan needed to be rotated as well Nice build overall
The fan on the bottom is meant to be intake but you had it as exhaust in all the clips, so would be interested in seeing what the temps would be with it set as an intake.
I think you should consider trying out fans that are reversed. I had the same problem with my NZXT case and I ended up buying the reversed fans to fix both the visual and airflow configuration.
It looks good with some nice features. Not interested in the vertical GPU mount. As usual convert the $ price to £GBP (the same figures) so it is 30% more expensive in the UK, thus £200 for the base model which is just too much for me. No reset button? The side removal of bottom dust filter would be a problem as my monitor is on the right of my case.
Paul, could you tell us if the following fan setup could work: The 2 fans in the back as you had them or both exhausting air, a 360 radiator in the top exhausting, the 3 140mm in the bottom exhausting (running low rpm) and 3x 140 where the drive cages are as air intake. So, the 3x 140 pull air in, feeding the GPU fresh air, then the GPU expels the hot air out the top (exhausted through the 360 AIO) and the bottom ((partially) exhausted via the bottom fans. Leave the glass above the bottom fans out so the hot air from the gpu can be picked up by those fans. This way you can have the fans in the bottom look their best AND possibly resolve some of the downsides of mounting a GPU vertically (that being the hot air shooting out the back getting recycled by its own fans. Now this hot air is partially exhausted out the bottom... in theory. hot air wants to rise and wit all these fans exhausting except for the 3 intakes its hard to predict the flow of air inside the case.)
Glad someone I follow finally got to look at this case as I've been getting bombarded in Facebook about it. I like it. I would like to see a 420mm rad top and bottom set up. Would your CPU have gotten better temps if the side was also intake, or would that have been too much? Will long power supplies like the Seasonic 1600W fit?
I think at this pricepoint they should be including the 3 reverse blade fans for the bottom with the case. Other than that, looks like a pretty sick case. It looks like the bottom "GPU Glass" is kinda pointless though eh?
Good looking case. Not crazy different then most dual chamber but just enough that it makes the list to consider. Is the brand really supposed to be pronounced spelled out H - A - V - N or can you just say haven (as in a place of safety)?
Interesting. I like the name alone to have a meme-fest of HAVN and Have not. Practically writes itself. I definitely like the design though, and would love to see something similar in a full tower size.
@havnGlobal, show us what youre working on. Also, to JayTC, Paul, and so on... will one of you please review this case with max fan config? I have my finger on the pay now button for the NV9 but I would f'ing love to change to the HAVN. Just would like to know how it impacts cooling.
This has to be one of the most genuinely original and interesting cases I've seen in a _long_ time. It's making me want to build in it.
Same. It's a bit bigger than I would typically build in but I like the vGPU option. The cost is a bit much for that version though.
Totally agree.
For quite some time, I have been bored with 99% of case releases. There's only so much you can do, right? This case has piqued my interest again.
@@Mapantz1 agreed.
$275 for a case though...
This looks like they took an NZXT H7 Flow (2024) and modified a few bits.
@@johnt.848 An _H7_ Flow?? Lol it literally looks nothing like that... Maybe more like an H9, but only in the fact that they both have two adjacent sides that are glass. That's pretty much where the similarities end.

Hats off to them for the delightful way to install your HDD storage - I love that it fits in with the design and flow of the internal wall.
A great video, thank you for taking time to check us out Paul! We can't wait to show you what else we've been working on and hope you'll check that out as well.
@Havnglobal Please make a smaler version :)

I was HAVN a good time watching this video.
I see what you did there 😂

@@anthonyp9591 and 4 usb 3.0 instead of 2. These two things. But man this 420 is beautiful. Now I watch my XL and it feels kinda boring!

I like this case when it was revealed. I am thinking about moving my current build into the case.
This case is slick! Love the cable grommet system. Clever
I don't mind sponsored honest review if it helps the channel
IMO no sponsored content can be a review (and Paul seems to agree...)
19:48 Paul very politely demonstrates that the glass airflow guide piece actually RAISES GPU temps ~3°C
GamersNexus found the same result, it's better without the additional glass.
It does, but imagine edge lighting the bottom so the edges all glowed. Might be worth a couple degrees.
Did they switch the bottom rear to intake like recommended?
I’m excited to see this case company grow. Hoping they get enough success to build a variety of cases
Jay could have a lot of fun building in that case. It's just screaming for an open loop build.
I love this case....
This is the way it should be. Show a new case, then build in that case. Love it.
Hi Paul, If there is one feature about the case I like, it would be the bottom-mounted lift handles.
tilted bottom intake is genius because it goes around gpu but still allows the gpu to suck in some of it, and then the rest goes up and through the rest of the case out the top for a fireplace configuration.
Nice presentation. Appreciate your candid views

the reviewers are HAVN a good time reviewing the case.
As man who loves computer parts and shares your name, I love your channel. Paul's hardware keeps it REAL!
Wow...I really want this case, the thought they have put into it is such a nice change!
I would try this out for my next build.
The 90 degree glass curve is cool!
Nice build, especially good on air flow & cable management.
Its god damn gorgeous. I absolutely love the look of this.

I bought the Thermaltake Ceres 500 on the strength of the video you made about it, Paul... LOVE it.

It's a very nice case with a lot of thought behind it, quite expensive here in the UK but definitely one to consider for my next build.

A semi silvered finish on the bottom glass plate would make a great reflective surface for the rgb off the fans.
wow that start made me check I wasnt running at double speed :D
