- Raats Custom Farming was filmed on location pumping out a manure lagoon on a dairy farm. This method of manure spreading is different than dragline methods as the effluent is sprayed onto the field instead of dribbled on or injected into the soil. Although there is a nitrogen loss in the process, it is a very fast method of dispersal covering a large area in a short period of time. A great display of Nuhn equipment featuring their Magnum Quad Train and Electra Steer. Operator controlled tire pressure by Agribrink in the Claas Xerion 4500. Ratts was running 2 units of the Claas tractor and Nuhn dual tanker systems. Running the Huhn 12" pump was a New Holland T6 tractor.

@@farmerdrone was in 1986,was a dairy ,pig and cereal farm around 2000 acres .Out side a small village called Brockton in Shropshire UK.i used a TW35 on the dribble bar ,no where near the operation these guys are running.

In Scotland larger farms have to spread using a precision method (dribble bar or injection).Smaller farms will have to do it from 2027. This is suppose to minimise nitrogen loss to the environment. Expensive decision by non farming “experts”.
