i think you could have made shrimp dumplings instead of pasta, because that kinda dough only requires flour and water. also to make pasta without eggs you can simply use semolino flour, that's actually how most italian pasta is made
@@krankarvolund7771 i know, but if someone has it in their pantry that might actually be a good idea, plus i've never seen someone on this channel make semolino pasta and i'm starting to wonder if they know it's an option lol
@@sheelushibani123 let’s be for real it is not a pantry staple for MOST people most groceries stores universally don’t even sell semolina flour 💀 it’s more common and globally known to others to know flour but not semolina flour nor is semolina flour a product that is globally traded often to a large n vast amount of countries
a series with this would be amazing. especially since so many are on a budget or are limited due to covid and its financial strain. Tasty please turn this into a series you can also use different cooks it doesn't need to be one cook alone.
I'm really impressed with Alexis' skills... No doubt one of the best episodes I watched in tasty aside from Chef out of water which is also my fave ❤️ Can't wait for more episodes 💓
I feel like butter is a pantry staple. So is salt and pepper. And probably like garlic. I know personally I grew up with all that always in the pantry. Eggs as well
i love this challenge! Always love watching Alexis cook and 'Chef out of Water' is one of my favourite series to rewatch over and over. Please make this into a series, such creativity in the recipes ^_^
Love this!!! I could come up with 5 ingredients all day cuz I get creative all the time in the kitchen lol. How about chicken, apples, bell peppers, quinoa, and cheddar.
That was so creative, and I would love to see more content like this. I love to take disparate ingredients and see what I can whip up with them. It's fun to watch someone else do it. I once took powdered peanut butter, sriracha, spinach, and canned tomato sauce and made a sort of Thai, Italian fusion pasta sauce. It was one of a kind and very delicious. I miss Chef Out Of Water, and want to see more videos with Alexis, no matter what the format of the cooking concept.
This is such a great series! So many things you can do with so little. With the rising cost of groceries I feel like this series could go so far. Thank you.
Absolutely brilliant! I did wonder why no steamed or poached carrots on the side of the main dish for color and extra nutrition. I NEVER would have thought of the amazing things she came up with though. Wow! Well done!
For those who wondering where is Alexis, unfortunately her and other taste producers like Rie alix alvin and others are left. So this is Alexis last video and there is no next time of making this video. Salute to our fav tasty producers, we will miss all of you who carry this tasty channel 😢🫡
So my wish has been granted a bit differently. Thanks Tasty. I wanted Alexis to switch shows with rie, even just for one episode, and this is basically it except that instead of one mystery food to be made "fancy", she is given 5 surprise food and a limited access to pantry ingredients to make into a 3-course meal. I'm not mad at it. I do hope they make an episode wherein they challenge Rie to cook meals with weird kitchen tools.
This should definitely be a series but like please give Alexis pepper and like paprika or red chilly powder lmfao i don’t believe any kitchen in the world wouldn’t have these items PLZ
I will definitely be looking forward to having this cookbook. I love recipes that minimize waste and use actual ingredients found in the home after a long day at work.
i woulda made some sorta dessert hummus .I'd toast some flour and add it in if i want a nutty flavour. ive seen somebody make caramel sauce with olive oil though that needed a bit of heavy cream, maybe i could try see if it comes out that way. could add a nice taste. or a lemony one

your chef out of water show is really inspiring for me as a college student, cuz I basically cook everything in my electric kettle. But I don't have that wide range of ingredients available. So how about combining it with this show, "Limited ingredients and Limited appliances Challenge"???
I want this to be a series. So interesting. I think she should get salt and pepper, though. Also ... I want that cookbook.
Same! This was so entertaining!
I know! Usually I skip ahead, but this video, watched the whole things!
Yes please! ❤️
She actually did have salt
The only thing I have to say is that she should get both salt and pepper as a pantry ingredient. Literally everyone had those ingredients.
Yeah, in my opinion they're barely ingredients, they're like the bare minimum
She was allowed salt
@@Emily-27 she said she couldn’t use pepper though. Salt was one of the ingredients on the tray.
She is allowed to use salt
Would have to disagree with pepper.
When alexis does any challenge on tasty you just know she is gonna kill it!
She’s definitely my favorite on the channel ☺️
Unless it involves a microwave. Lol
Yesss for sure
@@darknesseker My thoughts exactly 😂 Hair straightener? No problem! Iron? Easy! Microwave? All hell's breaking loose! 🤣🙈

Alexis never ceases to amaze me. How does she stay sane while doing these impossible things for Tasty?

Okay there’s some serious creativity and talent here. Because with these ingredients I would’ve just taken the L and ordered take out 😭
