This was a masterfully constructed advertisement for a beautifully shot film. This is what real art looks like and should look like, instead of sinking thousands of millions of dollars on featuring some famous dude or a half naked model in a cheesy video on television, they built a mini-sized Gotham on internet and invited people to play along. Then they awarded these people with beautiful mementos. Everything should be advertised and promoted like this, this creates a real involvement on the part of the consumer. Also, thanks for another great video, hope to see you more frequently.

You are truly doing ARG god’s work, Inside A Mind. These kinds of events are of such epic proportions, nothing really compares. I wish I had been there to follow this in real time, but I was basically a toddler when this went on. Even so, I can’t tell you how much I live off these videos.
I would have been 9-10 - far too young to participate at the time but I wish I could have done. I can't think of an ARG that really reached these heights since

When you think about it, when Harvey Dent became two-face, he got a big boost in popularity, so both the public and criminals can go "I Half Believe in Harvey Dent!"
People ask me why I love The Dark Knight so much. It's so hard to explain why. Shit like this is why though, the thoughtful deepness of all this is so amazing, and that's not only Heath Ledger's work. It's absolutely amazing what you see for a great film. It's a very deep pit of opening eyes, up to the film itself.

But wouldn't it just be a little pretentious? I mean it could be great considering the roster of villains that are expected to appear, but I think it wouldn't hold a candle to the class and sophistication that Nolan's vision brought to a community playing an underground puzzle.

Being from Chicago, it always feels nice when Chicago is chosen to hold an event, or is the setting of a movie, etc.
If everyone advertised like this it wouldn’t be special anymore.
Imagine if they did this for the eight-year gap between TDK and TDKR. They could have put clues about what happened to Joker in the last eight years..
While I think that would have been awesome,I don't think Warner or whoever manages this would keep funding it for that long.

Kids today won't remember, but words cannot describe the sheer level of hype for the Dark Knight. This marketing campaign raised it to a fever pitch. It seemed like everyone was counting down the days to the movie.
Damn you gotta love when they actually go out of their way to get people to get invested. It’s very intricate and you have to love the people involved even more

this arg was massive. very impressive stuff.
especially when you consider it was covering the different sides of the conflcit: Dent, the police, Joker, even a little bit of the mob, the media, the sons of batman
every person playing the game essentially chose a side and got rewards based on that

We've been waiting way too long for part 2 of this. Although, I can safely say the wait was worth it.
This is brilliant! I wish I'd known about this when it was actually happening, although being in New Zealand I wouldn't have been able to go to the actual events but it still would have been fun to follow live.
That Montage at the end with the opening scene was great, I loved it. Also thank you for making these videos, I had no idea about this game :)

FYI: ANYONE WHO TRIED TO FUND JAMIE'S ARG BOOK: Unbound won't issue you a refund unless you email them. What they apparently do is issue a credit that you can "use to fund another project" instead - you need to directly email them and request the refund. This is *not* Jamie's fault, it's just a bad service.

It always feels so weird to find out that I was alive during these things but was too young to ever be able to be apart of it!! I didn't know this was a thing! I certainly remember the movies! Geez.
Man, they should really have one of these happen again. Maybe an event for 'The Batman', like for The Dark Knight the person giving the clues and stuff was the Joker, it could be the Riddler since the Riddler is in The Batman, it'd be cool. Hopefully, everything in 2021 is better than what is currently happening in 2020, so the event is actually manageable.
